PERSONALITY
When understanding Yura, it's important to note that there are (what seems likes) two Yura's. There's the rude and painfully sarcastic Yura. And the soft, naive and highly inquisitive Yura.The sarcastic Yura is just a front and nothing close to way she actually is. The traumas of her life made her reach the conclusion that in order to protect herself, she must be cold and relentless to those meets.
The soft Yura is the reality. The real Yura is a charming pacifist who enjoys learning about the cultures with which she is unfamiliar. She is very caring to those who are important to her and one of the most loyal when she trusts someone.
APPEARANCE
Yura is a Sylphe, a race of botanical humanoids with exotic appearances. Notable features are her light green skin and her long red hair which she often adorns with flowers. Like most other Slyphe, she wears a combination of naturally grown flowers and ones that she has personally collected as clothing. These flowers are a good gauge of her mood as their condition will deteriorate if her mood lowers.STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
[+]- Race: The Sylphe are rare and exotic. People often show interest when they see her which she can use to her advantage
- Telepathy: This power which comes natural to her people is useful for communicating secretly with certain people
- Frustration: Yura likes things to go her way. When it does not, she will happily let everyone one know how annoyed she is which often causes problems.
- Combat: Although her Neural Storm ability proves useful to her, Yura's hand to hand combat skills lack severely. She must rely on that ability and firearms in fights.
- Trackable: Slyphes have strong pheromones. Although they can be used to their advantage, it leaves them open to being tracked easily.
BIOGRAPHY
The Slyphes are a struggling species. Although advancements have been made, they are still very inferior (Technologically) to most other species in the Galaxy. Yura was born on the Slyphe homeworld (Slyvia IV) to unfavorable circumstances. The struggling advancement of her race put pressure on the ordinary folks and they were forced to find ways to make ends meet, which often resulted in tough decisions.
At around the age of 4, Yura's parents were struggling beyond belief. It was then they were offered something which they were led to believe would "save them all". A Sith came to the family and tricked them into believing that he was a jedi and here to help. He offered the family a small amount of money in exchange for their daughter claiming she could live a good life working at a Jedi temple. How could they refuse? the thought of their daughter (and most likely some mind trickery) living a good comfortable life like she deserved caused them to accept. Soon after Yura left Sylvia IV and never saw her parents ever again.
Yura was meant to start a new life but the Sith had other plans and he kept as some sort of exotic pet. A plant slave was an interesting sight for visitors on the Sith ship and not mention due to her plant like aroma she was pretty much a walking air freshener. Naturally, the once cheerful little girl's mood and attitude soured thanks to her new life. Her captor was a Sith, and like most Sith he was being hunted by Jedi. When Yura was about 18, a jedi finally caught up to the man who enslaved her. A bloody battle ensued and after a few hours, the Sith met his end. Unsure of exactly what to do with this now ex-slave, the Jedi decided to drop her off on a unfamiliar planet so she could finally start a life of her own.
