Ysalamiri neutralization working group - looking for innovators

It's really (and justifiably) tough to get anything through the Factory/Codex that beats ysalamiri in the great game of rock-paper-scissors. Connory's last working group along these lines had some limited success, but there's room for more. I'll be kicking off another working group thread and making the last one's research available IC. The working group's OOC goal is to find ways to beat ysalamiri by discovering firm but obscure canon or getting a submission approved. It's a significant challenge, success is not guaranteed, and that's why it's fun.

Anyone interested?
 
[member="Connory"] when you say "Beat Ysalamiri", do you mean along the lines of something which can negate the effects of Ysalamiri, or to create a technological equivalent that is comparable or better?

Both are interesting challenges, though Triam would likely only be able to assist/be interested in the later.

Exactly! The best solution though is just to train force users in how to operate without the force though. For plenty of characters they are utterly neutered by the ysalamiri entirely because they didn't learn how to properly fight without it. That is the exact reason the Mandos don't care if it is up or not if they are force users because they aren't dependent on the force.
