I applaud you for taking that hit. I hadn't even realized you had cybernetics. I had just assumed you guys had high tech Mando-ish armor. I had only hoped to screw with your sensors and hopefully weapons to give me an opening to attack without getting gunned down by heavy repeating blasters. So, I salute you for rolling with that.

However, if you got knocked out, even if it was just a brief thing, how were you planning to respond to Mishka's follow-up attack / charge?

Or were you leaving that for the next round of posting?

From your post, it sounds like Mishka would be directly ahead of you coming in for a swing with her sword. I just wanted to know if you were going to let me get the first hit in and then respond after that (having not noticed it IC), or if you wanted to include something about seeing her coming towards you.

If Rexus got hit by a grenade, by Dax, he'd need dragging or have a considerable amount of movement to get to a window. Just as an FYI. Not like a football field, but not rolling over and taking a few steps either. Which, honestly, with an NPC and a trippy dream sequence, that could easily have the NPC drag Rexus, or something... If you two need a wider perspective that is. I also applaud the hit taking man, well done.

Hey! So actually, it's my post in the cycle. The way I saw it, was Omari is closest to me down the one branch of the T. Rexus *was* as the junction, and Mishka and Julius were down towards the bottom part of the T. That being said, it would be up to me to address the charging as you'd be effectively charging at Rexus' back as he advances down the hall towards me - who's peeking out into that corridor.

I'll be posting likely tonight in the next hour or two.

Edit: If you'd like a diagram, I can probably draft one up, but as this isn't exactly a boardgame, I'm not sure that it's necessary so long as everyone's actions are addressed. I'll be sure to do so in my post.

You guys had skipped Mishka after Rexus shot at her and posted that you were retreating. You and Rexus have actually both already posted twice since Mishka last posted.

In the post before Rexus shot at me, I mentioned Mishka noticing several small, Squib sized service corridors that ran next to the main hallways of the palace. When Mishka realized you guys had run off down the other hallway, Mishka ducked into a parallel running service corridor and ran ahead of Rexus and Omari as they tried to catch up with Rolf, and then tossed a grenade at them and cut them off.

And Mishka's most recent post came immediately after Rolf's. So it would probably be up to Dax or someone to post next.

That being said, Dax can post, but I'm not sure that effects me as we're separated by a good chunk of building. He's down a completely different corridor from where we're located, not the same line. In any case, your post will be addressed by one of our people in turn. We could play the post cut game for days, but I'm not inclined to do so. If you miss posting for four days, that can't be placed on us not to move ahead, and simply posting many actions in an effort to catch up isn't exactly fair play in terms of collaborative writing.

Actually, Mishka had gone off on her own and come running back once she realized the HQ was under attack.
Rexus had actually acknowledged that Mishka was coming up from a hallway behind your group's position and turned to fire at her and her NPCs.

If you had to run down a "good chunk of building" to get to where you're at, and Mishka started running after your team immediately after your team stopped shooting at her, then she should have been right behind your team (in a side corridor) the entire time.

So, really, you should still be running for the exterior walls of the building (if it's a "good chunk" of building away) and not suddenly arriving there after one round of posting.

Also, I had mentioned that I had real world responsibilities that had kept me busy. While I'm fine with the earlier skipping of my posts, you could also have asked if I minded being skipped. As it stands, there really isn't any reason to try and ignore my posts now that I'm able to catch up from an IRL / OOC perspective.

Yes, firing "Behind" in this case was the direction Rolf and Co. had come from, implying that you were you know, behind us and not forward of our direction of travel. So I'm not sure how you being behind us and us firing suddenly justifies you cutting inbetween us by using convenient Squib Maintenance Tunnels. If I recall correctly, the firing behind was a nod towards Coren, Romi, and Mishel - as they had approached from behind before Mishka had done so.

We could argue dimensions, ranges, speeds of travel all day, but ultimately is that going to get us anywhere? It seems you won't be satisfied unless you're able to directly post cut us - and that just doesn't seem quite fair to me. As I've stated, I fully understand the inability to post at times but when there's a time limit such as 14 days, it kind of becomes a generally accepted action to continue on given 4 days of 14 is a significant chunk of time for non writing. I don't think that's unjustified.

The point is, according to my post, Rolf is in a room which has a window to the exterior of the building. That was stated before your post, in which you took what might be considered a large amount of actions. Given the scenario regardless of the dimensions and arbitrary technical talk, the point is that with the current posts being the way they were and are, there would not be a way to suddenly appear between Rolf and Omari and the two Death Troopers, Rexus and Twigg. The grenade in the hall, that made sense, but conveniently creating maintenance tunnels to cut us off, especially after a lull in posting is a bit far of a stretch.

We aren't trying to ignore your posts, merely understand and react according to what would be possible given the existing scenario. I don't think we've intentionally or even unintentionally ignored or attempted to ignore your posts, so I would be careful with slinging accusations like that. If you can point to where we're ignoring you, I'm more than happy to look but I'm not seeing it.
