Skor II. The singular marr upon the First Order's service record. How exactly the Galactic Alliance had managed to spurn there attack was the talk for weeks, raw data collected and disseminated among the Order's highest echelons of command. Upon completion of the Security Bureau's investigation it was found that a First Order vessel had carried out an unauthorized bombardment, the crew of the offending vessel decimated as punishment. In an austere statement to the First Order and to the galaxy, the entire officer staff was executed publicly - the survivors sentenced to the Auxiliary where they would serve indefinitely.
With the fall of the Galactic Alliance the First Order's sights once more turn to the planet of Skor II. Renowned for its refurbished technology and tensor products the small planet would serve the Order well, also providing a valuable resource with which to convert much of their own salvage into reusable technology. An empire the size of the First Order was anything but cheap to maintain. Despite its perceived value, there was more than one voice at the table which shouted for revenge, a cry to raze the planet as a show of force against the Outer Rim Coalition who had taken up residence in the Alliance's stead. Instead, a more agile plan was hatched, one that would see a measure of retribution enacted and further see the Order flourish.
The King of Skor was a valuable asset then, made even more so now by the First Order's missteps during their last attempt to seize the planet. If the King could be captured and coerced, or convinced that governance under the First Order would afford him the best opportunity for success - and the best option for his people. If not, there was always a single word that would resolve that particular issue: Regicide. Likewise, the Metrobig Salvagestuff Platform locked in geosynchronous orbit in space above the city remained, a constant reminder of the First Order's inability to effectively control their own soldiers. Lethal chemical weapons had been unleashed in the loose hands of the military. It had been a lesson learned. With these lessons learned, the First Order drafted new plans to reassault the planet and to assert their dominance over the world and surrounding sectors.
Glory to the First Order!
With this statement of intent, the First Order declares an invasion to be begun 7 days from today, the 24th of July. The Invasion will begin on July 31st, end date TBD though it is suggested that it lasts 2 weeks to end on the 14th of August.
