Dominion Ye Who Enter Here | GA Dominion of Netherworld Hex south-east of Hypergate Velusia

Galactic Alliance Rapporteur

bannermain.png

It started on Byss.

Occupying soldiers conducting routine patrols of Sularenopolis have encountered a mysterious active portal in a long-abandoned factory deep beneath the city. Initial scans returned a startling result - the device is a hypergate, a long lost technology capable of opening a gateway across the galaxy - or even further still. News of the discovery soon leaks, and the eyes of the Galactic Alliance turn toward the troubled world and the possibilities which lay beyond the ancient device.

But Byss was just the beginning. Agents of the Strategic Intelligence Agency soon detected an anomalous signal on Velusia and uncovered a second hypergate. With holonews crews scrambling to Byss, a small expedition is assembled in secret to travel through the hypergate on Velusia to determine where it leads and if it poses a threat to the Alliance.

Welcome to the opening thread of the Galactic Alliance's involvement in the Oblivion Flashpoint! This thread will focus on the discovery of Omni's hypergates within our borders and our immediate response. Large scale travel through the hypergate will commence in the next thread, which will launch SoonTM.

Objective 1: Abandon All Hope
banner2.png

The discovery of two hypergates within its borders presents a clear and present danger to the Alliance. With the origin and purpose of the devices still a mystery, a small Galactic Alliance Defense Force-New Jedi Order JOINT task force is established to venture through the hypergate to learn more and report back. Rallying on the ocean world of Velusia, they travel through the strange construct, unsure what they will find on the other side or if they will even be able to return.

Objective 2: The Task of Divine Power
banner3.png

News of the Byss and Velusia hypergates has sent shockwaves through the Alliance. Senators scramble to hold an emergency meeting on Coruscant to receive briefings on the unfolding situation and determine their next course of action. While the hypergates potential for destruction is undeniable, some see the prospect to exploit the twisted realm for their own benefit.

Objective 3: All Distrust Behind Thee
banner4.png

News of the Byss hypergate got out quickly - too quickly. Widespread panic has spread across the surface of Byss and is threatening to boil over. Suspecting a leak within the occupying GADF forces, the SIA has quietly dispatched operatives to the contested world to uncover how word of the discovery got out quickly and the motives behind releasing the information.

BYOO:

Dozens of portals to the Netherworld have opened up across the galaxy. Surely that’s reason enough to post?

A hazy blue hologram materialised in the Foreign Affairs committee room. Aerarii Tithe, coming live from his shuttle as it hurtled back to Coruscant from trade talks on Skako, shifted in his seat as he made himself comfortable. He would be back on the capital in a few hours, but this couldn’t wait. He scanned the room, wondering why everyone else was running late for such an important meeting?

“Ahh, Vice Chancellor, I think we’ve dialled into the wrong room.”

Tithe’s head whipped around as he looked to a figure off camera. An Aargauun curse, so despicable and foul that it was rarely uttered in polite company, began to spill from his mouth as the hologram faded out.

The hologram cut back in just as the curse was finished, appearing in the Defense committee room where dozens of Senators were already taking their seats. A series of holograms dominated the table in the middle of the room, relaying live feeds from Byss and Velusia. The shimmering hypergates - portals to who knows where - caught the eyes (and other optical nerves) of all present.

“By the dead hand of regulation” Tithe groaned. “Yes, what’s the, ah, latest?”

BYSS , DEEP CORE
Focus | Yuri Orlov
Objective III - All Distrust Behind Thee

In a Secret Facility located within an isolated but large Canyon within one of Byss's smaller continents , Yuri Orlov stood infront of a Holographic table where the image of Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen could be seen. "So , Director-Admiral Sevenar was right. The Alliance has uncovered a Hypergate on Byss." the Lord-Imperator said. "Yes , our Infiltrators within the Occupying GADF Forces were able to uncover news regarding it's discovery and leak it too the public. Now panic and fear is spreading throughout Byss and soon it might even evolve into Civil Unrest and Riots just like on Emperess Teta." Orlov said , eager to strike back at the Galactic Alliance. "Hum...yes this is indeed an opportunity but exactly we must be cautious. The SIA has probably moved in on Byss by now to find out those responsible for the leak and i suggest you keep your men on high alert , just in case you come under attack"

Yuri Orlov crossed his hands seemingly unimpressed by this statement. "Why should we worry about the SIA tho. It's not like they can stop us all. We have millions of Loyalists at our disposal and can easy turn the people on Byss against them". Sularen was quick to reply. "And Yet we have underestimated our enemies multiple times in the past which has cost us our Planet , well-hidden secrets and i even nearly got captured by New Imperial Agents because of our over-confidence. Not to mention many of our Loyalists have been captured and imprisoned by the Alliance and we are scattered throughout Byss despite having a few million supporters left. We are now in the Minority Orlov and we need to remain cautious otherwise we might lose everything again."

"Ok then Sularen , what do you suggest we do" Orlov said. While he was technically the leader of the Remnants of Sularen's Regime which had gone underground after the GA Occupation he was nothing more then a figurehead for Sularen and while fully aware of this , he still had no other choice. He had been on the run since the Fall of the CIC and Sularen had offered him a considerable position on Byss. Now he was a wanted individual once more and the GA would certainly throw him in a maximum security prison if they got their hands on him. Going underground was way much better then spending the rest of his time in some prison especially when Sularen had reassured him and he would return to Byss with the support of his allies of the Final Dawn , which Sularen claimed were a powerful Neo-Imperialist Faction that could help them defeat the Galactic Alliance

"Stay low and don't do anything major." Sularen began "Make sure our guys keep their eyes on the situation. If this escalates into Civil Unrest and Riots as you suggested then we will make our move , otherwise do not do anything that might compromise our operation. I have sent Colonel Rackham to Byss and hopefully he can slip through the GA Blockade and take Command of the Situation. This is something that can potentially alter the Fate of Byss and we need to make sure that everything goes in our favor."

And with that the transmission ended and the set of motorized shades that covered Yuri Orlov's office began to rise revealing a magnificent view of the Large Canyon infront of the Facility. As Orlov walked up to the window he wondered when Sularen would return or even if he would return. Nevertheless given his situation , Orlov had to remain loyal to Sularen or face imprisonment or even capital punishment from the Alliance. The situation for him and Sularen's remaining Loyalists on Byss were dire and sooner or later , the underground Loyalist Movement could crumble if Sularen did not return soon enough.

She had started to send a message about supplies for Jakku...but a short blip to her communications center gave her pause. There were portals opening up on Byss and Felusia. She stared at the images.

Curious Faith peered closer what did it mean? Was something coming or going?

"
feth" she whispered.

From the corner of her eye she could see Ikenna Tahj Ikenna Tahj ever present ever steadfast in his duties.
"There may be some trouble" She looked over to him. She didn't know how to explain portals to him when she herself knew nothing.

She would have to attend the meetings to gain additional information.
"We need to go home after this meeting." Becca looked up already knowing what she needed to do.

A call to the space port to have the ship ready. Any panic at home she would deal with in person.

Becca waited for additional instructions,
"nothing else Becca we just need to get home."

However long it took to arrive, Faith immediately turned up in the Foreign Affairs Committee room...glancing about to see who else had arrived. She took a seat and waited, impatiently only because this unknown made her feel unprepared and exposed.

Switching the alarm off her phone, Kat checked through the messages and saw that there were several alerts about hypergates and calls for willing participants to explore these gates and see where they could possibly lead, if they were two way gates or one way and probably most importantly, if they were safe for people to pass through. She was definitely interested in testing these things, who knew where they could lead and if it was another galaxy or far reaches of space then there could be entire alien races unfathomable to be discovered. She tapped to see where the event would be held, it was not too far away and there was probably going to be a lot of people at the event, checking things out and prepping the volunteers going forward.

Taking a quick shower, Kat prepped herself, she had been on Byss to see potential for her company which she had to admit had been a little stagnate as of late but she was aiming to bring some life to it in the near future. Kat braided her hair, thankful that she had washed it the other day so it wasn't too bad at the moment. There wasn't time for her to wash and dry it, she donned her usual attire and made sure that she looked decent in the mirror. Nodding her head, she had her Lightsaber pike in hand and pistol holstered on her hip. Wandering out of the building, there was mass panic around the hypergate, people were fearing the worst. Kat could only see the potential and was eager to learn who or what constructed it and with what materials and how could they have done it with no one noticing. Hypergates weren't a minor deal, surely someone would have noticed...

Arriving at the hypergate, Kat looked around, there were a few people running around attempting to keep the peace amidst the panic. Kat just made her way through the crowd and stepped towards the hypergate, her eyes widened at the sight. It was more beautiful and impressive than she could have imagined, it was like something out of this galaxy and all she could see was the opportunity to explore. Inhaling deeply, Kat tried not to feel overwhelmed and overeager to think of the tech aspects of all this. Instead she decided to see if there were any familiar faces around joining the mission. Maybe someone who would keep her company when they crossed the other side.

Objective 3: All Distrust Behind Thee - But Requesting Interview of Objective 1 Participants
Location: Streets of the Capitol City of Byss
Goal: Report on the riots

LIVE: "This is Holly Starstorm for HoloNet News. We are coming to you live from the streets of Byss where panic and violence has erupted. Hours ago a riot started in a local electronics store and has spilled out onto the street. Reports state that other riots have been erupting elsewhere in the city, and likely the entire planet. Rioters are claiming it's the end of days and that a sign from the Heavens has indicated a galactic apocalypse. It is unclear where these rumors started but what we do know is the Senate Committee is meeting to discuss the Situation on Byss. We have sent a request for a statement from the Senate and are awaiting the answer. Right now residents of Byss are encouraged to stay home and lock their doors and windows. Rioters are asked to please go home and remain calm until an official statement with more information is released. Byss General Hospital is asking those with O Negative blood type to please call the hotline flashing on your screens now as they are currently in desperate need of donors. Other blood types will be alerted if need arrives.

Stay home, stay safe, and stay tuned to HNN for more breaking news updates."

"Everyone with a mission badge step forward!"

Captain Drake motioned the other volunteers ahead. Galactic Alliance personnel scrambled to assemble on the half constructed embarkation deck. A thin layer of transparisteel was all that separated any of them from Velusia's ocean depths. Illuminating those dark waters the ancient piece of alien tech that was turning their galaxy upside down glowed with a foreboding aura. Supposedly there were other devices like this one but the SIA wanted them kept a secret for as long as possible.

He was one of the only civilians here. Drake's GADF patch minus rank insignia marked him as a mission specialist. With no foreknowledge of where the alien gate might lead it was only natural for the Alliance to seek out experts in exploring uncharted worlds. Days old stim caf from Outlander Station still rumbled in his belly. Atlas marveled at Velusia's beauty but travel to the Core always made him feel so far from home.

"Careful with that," he urged, "This is sensitive equipment."

A pair of troopers moved more cautiously while loading the comm relay onto a hoversled. Aside from potential dangers waiting for Drake on the other side the Alliance could not determine a power source let alone determine what might cause the gate to deactivate. This might very well be a one way trip. It was a risk they were all willing to take. Still the Glie-44 blaster on his hip and tehk'la blade stowed under the captain's flight jacket both had a reassuring weight.

"I still need a Jedi for my team just in case its..." Atlas tried not to look uncomfortable, "Magic."

Henna's foot tapped as she studied the vast gate. It's blue glow kissed all those who stood beneath it. There seemed to be a presence in the force, but it was different than any she had encountered before. Completely neutral, unalive, yet playing in the symphony all the same. A burning curioisity had taken the master since the gate's discovery, and she felt an undeniable luck at being selected to attend. Her main task was that of a scribe, to record their findings- but her presence doubled as to help understand the mysteries that laid beyond. Soldiers and fellow Jedi scurried back and forth as she patiently waited, completing their tasks before go time.

At the Captain call, Henna stepped forward, offering a slight smile.

"Do not fear the unknown." Henna replied, sensing his unease. "If you are to be first through, I will accompany you, to record and investigate the implications of the force."

Henna glanced up the magnificent sight once more.

"There is definitely a magic here, though it is unfamiliar. Be cautious, but unafraid- the portal itself seems to hold no issue with our presence." Her gaze flickered back to the man. "I am ready when you are."

Another hologram, this one a live representation of the commanding officer of the Byss Occupation Forces appeared in the Defense Committee Chambers. On board the dreadnought Convor, Admiral Zahara Myneto rose to attention when the hologram of the Vice Chancellor materialized. "The Hypergate is nothing we've ever seen before"

"An expedition on Veluisa is underway. We still don't know where it leads" He paused. "Whatever is on the other-side, friendly or not, I recommend the Senate quarantine Byss and Velusia immediately"

The suggestion had already been debated by both him and his senior staff. Needless to say, the idea of quarantining billions of people had it's merits...and detractors.

"Nothing wrong with a little healthy fear," Captain Drake glanced over nervously at the Jedi, "From a certain point of view."

Mystics unsettled him. Hokey religions and ancient weapons were no match for a good blaster at his side in Drake's estimation. Of course their abilities were real but he wasn't quite sure he believed in the whole galactic life web hypothesis. This galaxy was strange enough without invoking magic or divine faith. Still he could not help but admire the Jedi's selfless philosophy even if some of their esoteric teachings seemed misguided.

"Well, that sounds like the most optimal conditions we're likely to get. The energy this gate releases to create a stable portal must be astronomical."

Atlas reached out and brushed against it. There was a definite reaction to his presence.

"Amazing," he murmured, "You can actually see the fluctuations in the event horizon."

Captain Drake turned to address the Alliance task force. Serene monks clashed vibrantly with grizzled Stygian veterans. Although under construction everything around them still shined with Core World opulence. Behind those assembled there was a large banner with the starbird insignia draped across a half-welded bulkhead as if looming over the alien artifact in challenge.

"Pioneers with me! Our first priority once we reach the other side will be to confirm the environmental conditions are stable and set up a communications relay. Once we've established contact with Hypergate Command we'll assess our surroundings and report back. If you get separated there's a flare gun in your satchel. Use them sparingly! Onward then to unpathed waters, undreamed shores."

He glanced back over at Master Sarrat.

"Together?"

They both stepped across the threshold.

THE TASK OF DIVINE POWER // SENATE COMMITTEE ROOM
"Chimera's breath," the old Pamarthen Knight cursed as his eyes watched the holonews feed. As ever, he was present with his charge, Faith Organa Faith Organa . "What in the Seven is that?" Ike had seen his fair share of crazy in the service of the Jedi Knights. Fighting Sith Spawn through your youth you saw very strange things, monstrous things, and wonderous things where the Force was involved. But this?

The massive portal seemed to hum with an energy that was sending waves of distress and wrongness through the Force. He had felt it when he woke up and broke his fast that morning but now he understood. There was a familiar feeling about it, though he didn't understand why.

"I'll get in contact the Defense Force," I'll call my wife and make sure they're okay is what he meant, but the queen knew him well enough to know he'd take the right steps forward in a crisis like this. The Royal Fleet was small, but if Alderaan needed to defend itself or extend aid to others he knew the other royal houses and systems the Queen represented in the senate would rally behind the queen.

"I'll be waiting at the shuttle."

if they're watching anyways

Auteme, somehow, found herself out of her depth. Her studies ranged far and wide, but this -- this was new. Truly new. She knew the basics, a few pop-theories, and those nuggets of history. But to her, and the Alliance as a whole, hypergates were very much unfamiliar territory.

Her recent outing to the Globex University Denon had reminded her of some forgotten knowledge, however. Reason and knowledge were not individual traits. As Jedi and the Defense Force were sent to Velusia, Auteme pulled every academic connection she had, searching for any answers to her questions. The fastest to respond was a certain professor...

"Hello, Master Nimdok," she said. The professor's likeness was projected on her desk. "With everything going on here -- there's no time to waste.

"Tell me what you know."

THE TASK OF DIVINE POWER // SENATE COMMITTEE ROOM
VIA HOLOGRAM // CORELLIAN COUNCIL CHAMBERS - CORONET CITY
The last few weeks had been trying. The Padawan was awake and again the investigation on his assassination was open, the Byss Standoff had also stripped him of many of his senatorial privileges, the Brotherhood of the Maw were infiltrating the Senate, and he was once again playing the cornered mouse for a den of Sith rats. It felt like the Galaxy had suddenly conspired against him and was slowly coiling around him like a Velusian fursnake, getting tighter every time he struggled against it.

Luckily he still wore his mask and his expression of pain and annoyance was not capturable by the holocams as they transmitted his image across the Core Worlds to Coruscant for this emergency session. What was the latest?

"With all due respect Vice-Chancellor, isn't that what you called us here to talk to us about? Our people are restless. Is this some sort of Byss superweapon Sularen has poised as a last-ditch effort to cow the Alliance into surrender? An attack by the Maw?" He knew both of these were out of the question, but better to play ignorant and pull information than act as if he knew all.

"What about the Corellian forces still in Byss? What is there status?" As part of the "Grounding" all Corellian forces that had been deputized at the Byss Standoff remained in Alliance service until the investigation on Yularen Nova Yularen Nova and Mazik Stazi Mazik Stazi had concluded, essentially leaving Corellia toothless. They had a small handful of vessels now, the original defense fleet Corellia had used for the entire Corellian system. However, after the construction of the new warships that fleet had largely been mothballed or had taken to wide patrols of the Corellian Sector and just beyond. Corellia herself was scarcely defended now by a few stations, a few squadrons of fighters, and an aging Colony-Class battlecruiser from the old Alliance days. And her for the entire system, which was utterly unacceptable for a system as densely populated as the Corellian System.

Of course, Drall, the Twin Worlds of Talus and Tralus, and Selonia had small forces of their own but the largest vessel in any of their fleets was no larger than a Corellian Strident-Class and even then those two vessels were dedicated to defending the twins and the military base on Talus. Other than that the system fleet numbered less than a dozen vessels no larger than a frigate designation. They were teethless, and all the Senators knew it, making his frantic line of questioning more believable.

"What of Admiral Satou? There has to be word from him?"

Hello Miss Durren.

The hologram of Nimdok promptly launched into a professor's lecture, the length and horror of which was lessened considerably by the soothing tones of his voice.

To answer your question, all of the hypergates have opened in a specific region of the Netherworld, known as Oblivion. They have manifested apparently at the behest of an approximately four hundred year old artificial intelligence by the name of Omni. Omni either was awoken by an unknown third party, or perhaps he was always awake and just decided he wanted to try galactic conquest for a change.

“Coinciding with the opening of the gates are reports of individual minds being captured and ‘rewritten’ by Omni’s forces to turn them, effectively, into his willing thralls. On top of that, the various major factions have decided to take advantage of the hypergates and are now invading Oblivion for various cynical reasons.

“Since no starships or aircraft seem able to get through the gates, this means groups of mortals, the vast majority of them woefully unprepared, have entered the realm of a mad god hellbent on erasing ‘errors’ like free will from our galaxy.

He shrugged. “The Silver Jedi Concord has no interest in conquering or exploiting the land of the dead, so we’ve been resorting to small expeditions in hopes of figuring out how to close the damned doors.

"Anyway, why are you asking?
"

The desert plane that greeted them seemed to stretch near endlessly. A plethora of warm tones, gold's and oranges accented by the occasional green shrub, made for a hostile yet beautiful scenery. Everything seemed.. normal.

Then the tendril came. It descended fr the force, unseen to the eye, but it's presence certain. Henna could feel a ghost of movement slither around her body, looking for a chink in her mental fortitude. It was so like the dark side that lived on the ruined planets- but like the gate, it seemed to have no dark signature.

Her body was stiff until finally it moved on, and unable to access her. It was still nearby; upon looking, it seemed to be doing the same to the soldiers. Henna attempted to summon a force field to protect them from potential harm. Yet, no sooner than it manifested, it began to thrash wildly, as though her control on the force was challenged.

"Mother's moon."

She stood helplessly, looking to the others, praying silently whatever it was would not hurt them. The irony of the moment was not lost on her.

"Perhaps you were wiser than I, to fear." She joked to their leader after a minute.

Removing the datapad from her satchel, she began keying in notes.

-Uneventful in the portal; though the event horizon was seen and the sensation could only be prepared to walking through time itself, there was no incident.

-The portal opens up to a desert that seems relatively normal thus far.

-MAJOR FORCE ANOMALIES: Something probed myself and the men; Origin unknown. When I tried to call upon the force, it was chaotic and strange, and did not answer to me.

"This is a beautiful world."

General San Tekka could only spare a glance out the U-Wing's passenger viewport before piles of datapads consumed him. He'd almost forgotten the tedium of leadership. So many reports from Fort Cadera on Jedha and Coruscant. Then of course there was the HNN holofeed providing a background ambiance of alarm. He watched a public crisis unfold on Byss over the recently discovered hypergate even while descending toward its mysterious twin lightyears away.

"Master Jedi, we are pleased you could join us," one of the natives extended a slimy hand when he disembarked, "Your Alliance task force is about to send their first team through."

"Show me."

He was conveyed to Mount Hollow's docks and selected a submersible rated for the depths where Alliance engineers constructed a subsurface facility around the artifact. Zark could sense a familiar echo in the Force when they drew near. Everything still seemed prefabricated but he could not deny the hastily assembled command hub boasted quite a view. He watched the first expedition team step through even though they were no more than silhouettes bathed in supernatural light.

"Admiral Myneto," the Jedi Master spoke into a holo communicator, "We are attempting to establish communications with the other side. I should have more intel for you soon. Inform the Senate if conditions are appropriate I will be personally leading a second wave through within the hour."

His ornate armor was still battle scarred from the Stygian crusades yet Master San Tekka's lightsaber gleamed as if awoken by the prospect of shining across strange new worlds.

The Golem sat still upon its rock, faced towards the Gate, waiting. Whispers had trickled down its network, followed by firm commands. After years of silence, something was stirring.

It had walked in silence for days to reach this abandoned place, occasionally stopping to draw power from the exposed conduits and nodes that marked the presence of its creator. The Golem's journey had been uneventful. Most of the spirits of this place had long lost interest in it, and the more restless entities had all quickly learned to stay out of the way. The time since its arrival had been even duller, as it had simply sat and waited. The Golem did not worry. It had a job to do.

As it sat, The Golem went over its instructions again. The influence of the living had spilled over from the other side, and a hypergate had been destroyed. That presented a threat, but it also marked an opportunity for The Golem's creator to realise its vision of perfection.

The Golem had been forged, chosen for this process. After its creation, it had been forgotten, lounging amongst the spirits. It had been built for a purpose, made uniquely for this task. But, the time had not been right, and for years it was not needed. It hoped this change meant that finally, its moment had arrived. The Golem would soon join Omni's chosen.

Up ahead, as The Golem sat and observed, the portal began to change. First, there was the sensation of the ancient, precious technology awakening. There was a ripple through the fabric of everything as the Gate activated. Finally, humanoid forms began to emerge, stepping into The Golem's realm, into Oblivion.

Worn mechanical limbs set upon the intruders, twisting and readying to strike, but The Golem willed them to still and wait. That wish was echoed by the network around it. To kill and maim the arrivals was The Golem's first impulse too, but its creator had given it an altogether different task. The intruders would be turned against each other early, or, failing that, they would each receive a taste of things to come.

The Golem stood and brushed the sand from its skin, its metallic joints creaking as it moved for the first time in days.

People were beginning to pass through the gateway. Several were gifted, strongly gifted in the Force. A few were not, but they were not worth underestimating if they had ventured beyond the Gate. Any of them would be valuable assets to The Golem's creator.

The Golem walked towards the group, stopping just a few metres away. It spoke in a low, flat voice that nevertheless cut across the distance between them.

"Hello, travellers. You have arrived in Oblivion, the dominion of Omni. I am afraid I cannot yet allow you to go any further."

It held out its hand.

"I am The Golem, a fusion of flesh and metal, living yet lifeless. I am an ambassador between your Galaxy and my creator's perfect realm." The Golem spoke without emotion, nor apparent interest, its gaze flicking lazily between the members of the group.

Vyk nodded, his helmet making a slight dip even as the Captain turned to the Jedi beside him. The Sergeant Major checked his squad on his HUD and addressed them over squad comms.

"Stay loose and follows the Captain's lead." His voice like gravel over the comms. He received confirmations from the squad quickly, then pulled his rifle butt into his shoulder.

Every crevice of the surface of his armor was practically gripped by the event horizon, but after the first moment, he wasn't cognizant of it. He slipped out of the surface and out of sight of those behind them.

His mind reeled trying to make sense of the sensations of the transit. It seemed to take an eternity and yet was over far too quickly to process. A heartbeat later he stood behind the Captain and the Jedi, and instinctively took a step to the side to clear those two from his firing arc. He kept his barrel pointed low and forward, his body prepared to bring it up into his shooting embrace at a moment's notice.

"Nothing wrong with a little healthy fear."

That much panged in the depths of her soul, deep as the waters far below them. She welcomed it with enthusiastic xenia, brought the old battlefriend into her home, told it to stay like Typhan Berrezz Typhan Berrezz never had.

She had come to Velusia like so many others unsure of what to expect, exactly. The only impression she had carried with her from Coruscant had been a general apprehension of the Force's characteristics within a hypergate. Thus, she stood now among the first expedition as much more a special forces commando than a Jedi padawan. There were still wide, wide swathes of the Force she had not personally charted yet, and her footing on what little she had was shaky at best.

Unreliable at worst.

But, her military training still thrived deep within muscle memory despite the many years she had been out of any official service. As far as she was concerned, her decision had made itself. Confidence flooded back into her bones the moment she stepped foot on the makeshift staging zone geared out like the good ole days; not in robes nor spacer clothes, but body armor--just sporting an Alliance logo or two instead of the Confederacy's. Regardless of the starbird flying somewhere behind her, Damsy felt as if she had fallen into rank with the Dauntless once again. She even swore she heard Luna Terrik Luna Terrik giving a rousing bookend to one of her briefings:

First in, last out.

She'd follow the example set by those around her as they found out hopefully sooner than later just what this blip was all about.

Task of the Devine Power

Faith stared she couldn't place her finger on it but somehow this occurrence felt not so much familiar but that she had heard the description before. She barely heard Ikenna Tahj Ikenna Tahj , "That's a good idea" her voice sounded distracted soft, "yep...I'll join you at the ship"

She looked at Becca who had gone white, "Becca would also contact Draco and my mother, let them know I'm headed home." Her mother was older now not as active and at times down right stubborn but she also was no on Alderaan she was on the planet called Aldera safe from prying eyes of the galaxy enjoying her later years.

Draco did what he wanted mostly trained troops, visited his clan, kept Ma'ree company, and provided support where he could. But now L Laira Darkhold and Theo. Right now she didn't know where either of them were...would this apparition be a danger to them, to Alderaan? Only in the Defense Committee room would she really know.

A short time later Faith entered the committee room finding a seat, just enough to catch Maou Maou ask about Admiral Satou. She would have to catch up quickly. Aerarii Tithe Aerarii Tithe was communicating from his shuttle...she believes....one thing for certain he wasn't in the room.
