STRENGTHS

• Specialist Care: Each Avaduu Class is equipped and crewed by specialists, designated for certain tasks. This allows the relief fleets of the WSR to delegate medical practices across the fleet, allowing faster recoveries and heavier focus on individual patients.
• Internal Reinforcement: While the ship is designed as a hospital ship, Si Tech understands that no ship is truly off limits in fleet engagements. As such, the medical wards and command bridge have been internally reinforced, with extra armor and separate shield generators.
• Hope From Above: The Avaduu class has several squadrons designed to come down, and act as flying ambulances. The 3 Squadrons of Rocs are capable of carrying several people, and act as stabilizing wards should it be needed. All the while, each frigate comes with a single squadron of B-wings to protect it from afar, acting as a combat patrol for incoming enemy fighters.

WEAKNESSES

• Lack of Teeth: By design, the Avaduu Class is not designed with any form of offense. It's a Hospital Ship through and through, not designed for heavy combat.
• Broken Spine: While the ship is designed with heavy shields, should they fail, the ship's aft spine is susceptible to snapping should the ship be damaged heavily. This would cut off the remaining from fleeing, as it's thrusters are all in the rear portion of the ship.

DESCRIPTION
With it's resources cut off from the Alliance, Si Tech no longer had the ability to rely on Aether System's ship designs to fill out it's fleets. While the ships of Si Tech were capable, the Dawn of Hope was now lacking it's specialist care frigates. As such, Si Tech pulled from the archives, and recreated and upgraded the classic Nebulon B design. Giving it heavier shields, and an expanded care unit, the Avaduu Class was born.

Designed to act as the primary recovery and reconstruction hubs of the Wild Space Rebellion, a single Avaduu Class is capable of acting as a lone hospital for an entire city, while also having the cargo capacity to help start the rebuilding process on it's lonesome.
