Wild Hunt - SJO Dominion of the Talasea Hex

x1wDczn.png

Despite its proximity to the Core, Talasea has remained largely unpopulated since the original group human colonists abandoned it centuries ago. More recently, it was again depopulated as the fledgling Talasean government dissolved and the local populace was ravaged by Sith slavers during the fall of the Commenor Systems Alliance.

The Silver Jedi Order and the Refugee Relief Movement have come now come to Talasea with the hopes of resettling and promoting long-term development on the resource-rich world in a favorable position within the Colonies Region. However, it needs a lot of work, plagued by harsh lightning storms during the rainy season and herds of feral Bantha that attack nearly everything on sight.

Objectives

1 - Thunderfoot

The Luna Corporation was awarded a contract the SJO to build to build the first of many surface settlements, Spero, on top of the ruins of the old governor’s palace.

However, about halfway under construction, the site came under harassment by a large herd of feral Bantha who moved into the area. Development has been halted since that point, as workers are constantly attacked and their equipment is damaged or destroyed. One Bantha in the herd, the alpha bull, has been noted to be particularly vicious, having leveled several buildings and ruined the foundations of others. During his attacks, unsually powerful tremors are produced, earning him the nickname “Thunderfoot” by workers.

Deep into development, it would be too costly for Luna to relocate, so the company has requested assistance from the SJO to beef up its barriers around Spero, and to deal with the Bantha herd. Between attacks, the Bantha like to retreat into the nearby Twilight Forest.

((For those interested in tracking down Thunderfoot and his herd, meet up with a local Luna security officer at the edge of the forest to start. Everyone else can hang out at Spero.))

2 - Panacea

Being a planet largely covered by oceans, Talasea has become a prime destination for some natives fleeing Sith controlled Dac - Mon Calamari, Dolphinarians, Whaladons, and sympathetic Quarren who refused to ally with the Sith Empire.

Many of the incoming refugees from Dac have had to be held in quarantine on a hospital ship Panacea, afflicted by ailments caused by bioweapons employed by the Sith. The Dolphinarians, in particular, have been hardest hit as their species possesses a weak immune system.

Either through common medicine or the healing arts, help treat patients to bring immediate relief, and analyze the samples of the bioweapon to develop a future countermeasure.

3 - Lightning in a Bottle

Trying to make lemonade from lemons, engineers in the SEC have devised a scheme to harness the power of Talasea’s powerful lightning storms as a cheap energy source, inspired by molecular shield technology. Help engineers set up a prototype energy collector on Mount Kenali in advance of a projected storm to test out the device.

4 - BYOO

1 - Thunderfoot

"Lets go fluffy." THe small twi'lek said it while she was on the back of the large creature. If there was a way to hunt down and track prey.. well it would work for her before she was looking at the others who were here. With the jedi here though she could work with them as the beast master jedi was listening to the sentient rock on her hip. A child of one of her mountain companions... a living breathing mountain that well cried healing tears and she had been able to collect them for helping others.. she had also once possibly if they knew how to prove it drowned and flooded a town in hot caramel sauce and taffy... possibly with her padawan when they were going after darksiders. the people lived but the town was gone wiped clean by the hand of some sweet confection god. "COme on we have a thing to find."

Objective: Find Thunderfoot
Allies: [member="Leina Snowfire"] | [member="Asaraa Vaashe"]

Thunderfoot, a particularly dangerous bantha, it was proving to be troublesome amongst workers who were trying to construct buildings for the incoming refugees. It was crucial for the builders to finish their work to get the refugees housing. It was also intriguing to Yuroic to find a bantha being so aggressive, the animals were normally passive and were often farmed by colonists on different worlds. This alpha must have an issue with sentient beings or more likely something wrong to trigger such an aggressive streak within itself. Yuroic took a deep breath and thought on the best way to approach the beast. He refused to bring his own weapons as he didn't want to provoke violence in the beast and he was sure that if it became violent, using passive Force Powers was a much better strategy.

Walking down to the meeting point, Yuroic noticed another Jedi heading down with a rock with her. It was odd but not unusual to see for being a Jedi, unusual was part of his day job. He gave a small wave as he stood near the security guard, nodding to the guard. He wondered if everyone else was going to take a passive stance like he wanted to or if they wanted to take the beast down, believing it too dangerous and aggressive. It would be an easier path to take Yuroic believed but not the one he wanted to take.

Objective: Heal Patients

Seeing the refugees that were afflicted by the bio weapons of the Sith Made Reggie feel horrible. The usual cheery and enthusiastic Jedi had sorrow in his eyes. Seeing people in any type of pain was something he did not like and made the young Padawan want to help in any way he could. Reggie looked to end the suffering that the refugees were experiencing, and find a way to prevent it from happening to anyone ever again.

The young Padawan had made sure to learn how to heal through the force when he had first started his training, seeing it as crucial since there were so much suffering in the galaxy. Just in case he could not use the force one day or the ability was unable to heal someone alone, Reggie had made it part of his personal research to have some knowledge of medicine. Reggie was no doctor, but he could at least help when the situation called for it. Today was one of those situations.

Getting sick himself would me he would be unable to help the patients, so Reggie was wearing protective wear. He walked to one of the Dolphinarians and examined them to see what condition they were in. It wasn't good. Reggie put one hand on the patients arm.

"Hello sir. i'm going to be taking care of you here."

In any event, Reggie was calm. He was hoping that talking to the patient would ease any worry they may have, but he didn't know if they were listening or not. The young Padawan closed his eyes and began channeling the force through him. He was trying to purify the patients body with the force, hoping to remove the harmful effects of the bio weapon.

Obj. 1: Monitor the situation
Location: Spero

Inside the passenger cabin of a Crescent Class Transport was Melanie Yoo, the CEO of Luna Corporation. The lounge area had been temporarily converted into a mobile office and command center, of sorts. There were datapads, holodisplays, and numerous charts and projections. Everything was beeping.

The Seoulian woman was absolutely livid.

She set down her datapad and rubbed the side of her forehead. This project at Spero was turning out to be a nightmare, but they were in too deep to turn back now. The machinery sat motionless, workers remained in limbo, the project completely stalled. Every moment they couldn't work was money at risk, they needed to get back on track – and fast.

“The Silver Jedi have started to arrive, yes?” Melanie called out to her assistant, who was currently monitoring the situation outside at the construction site itself.

“Yes, ma'am.” She answered, “I believe there are some moving to track the one called... Thunderfoot.”

Melanie closed her eyes and pushed out a sigh.

“Very well, let's hope they can remedy this unfortunate situation, so we can get back to work. Keep me informed.” Melanie retrieved the datapad, and immediately became lost in the flow of information.

Equipment: Signature

A big and great hunt. Unlike Yuroic, Charlie brought her equipment along. As much as she did rely on the Force, she understood the beasts that she would be facing to be quite dangerous. She felt better having her twin hammers strapped to her back for this one. The girl had studied a little bit about the banthas, to have some that were this destructive was odd. They were usually from her understanding rather docile and calm. They lumbered about and usually moved heavy items with their strength.

What drew the small padawan to this mission was what the bantha’s had all over them. She quietly mused over herself draped with a coat of the bantha’s fur. As she imagined and drew closer to the group that was waiting, Charlie pranced lightly on her toes imagining the warmth of the coat wrapped around her.

The padawan stopped and smiled at Asaraa her fellow prefect along with the other two, Charlie was told to not bring up anything in Yuroic’s past or their past meetings. So Charlie remained silent for the time being and would chirp in Yuroic’s direction if he spoke to her.

No matter how much she day dreamed of her winter coat, she knew in the end their goal wasn’t to kill all the bantha’s but to make sure they wouldn’t interfere with the Moon people’s project. Shrugging it off she continued to look around, under her breath she practiced what she assumed the noise bantha’s made. “Moo, moo moo moo-moo mooooo”

Following her mission sorties with Master Med-Beq it was finally time Cinto joined the general population. Thusly, Corsica arrived at the edge of the forest in her Starfighter. A light interceptor. Dismounting her vehicle a good pace away from the others and from the busy treeline. She was garbed in her long silver Britney Coat, her discrete glass helm, and kept Ben's lightsaber in a satchel around her waist. The rest of her gear would stay with the ship. Tucked away in case of emergency. At least until the nature of their mission on-world became clear. After all, she didn't want to carry unnecessary goods unless it was mission specific.

She tugged on her small satchel and approached the group already gathering. Introducing herself to the guard captain and to anyone else who might wonder after her name,

"Corsica Cinto. Apprentice of Master Jessica Med-Beq. At your service."

She gave a slight bow and smiled to all present. Standing tall, relaxed, and patient among the grass. Waiting for the hunt to begin.

It was back to working with aquatic life again, as there was a whole slew of Dac natives who required aid. In the time since her visit to Truuine treating a poisoned Karkadon, she had brushed up on her knowledge of marine xenobiology, even developing some new treatments, so she was in a much better position to help out this time around.

After arriving in the system, she transferred from a civilian courier to the Panacea via shuttle, treated to the site of massive water tanks as she landed in the main hanger. Within each tank, there were one or two Whaladons, ranging in the size from a horse to a dropship.

Stepping off her shuttle, she made a B-line to the nearest tank that housed a single Whaladon. She came up to one side of the tank, quietly studying them. On a superficial level, they resembled the whales of the oceans of Kiribi, but in the Force, she could glean their surface thoughts to see that they were in fact, sentient.

With each thought she felt, there was an undercurrent of pain and loss.

As she shared these feelings, it was then that the Whaladon finally acknowledged her, one giant black orb settling upon her comparatively tiny form as it reached out to touch her palm with a fin from the other side.

Objective: Panacea – Check on the patients

It was a rare day away from Silver Rest, at least it was for Celeste Rigel. The healer was normally found in the healing halls or herding groups of younglings from class to class. Aboard the Panacea, Celeste now roamed the corridors to check on their many, many patients. The flow of refugees from Sith space had been steady. It made her heart ache to see so many displaced, so many suffering.

This was a small dose of reality. It was very easy to forget about the darkness in the galaxy, especially inside the walls of a safe haven like their temple on Kashyyyk.

But, if she could do some good today, she would do her part.

The automatic doors parted to allow her inside the hangar bay. True, it was not unusual to see such a space converted to treat patients when in dire need... but it was unusual to see it housing two large tanks. As a healer, she was familiar with the Mon Cal and Quarrens, even the Dolphinarians were not so unusual. However, the Whaladons were a bit of a mystery.

But, she'd heard their calls throughout the day – in fact, she'd felt them.

As she approached, she spotted a slim form silohetted against the glass tank and shimmering waters. Celeste let her eyes wander from the woman to the Whaladons, her brown eyes grew wide as she took them in. They were large, certainly the largest aquatic being she'd seen so far. They had graceful fins, three humps upon their backs, and light skin that had deep ridges along the underbelly.

“Quite impressive, aren't they?” Celeste said, offering a smile. As she glanced back to the other woman, there was a flicker of familiarity. “Ah, you must be Doctor Teigra, unless I am mistaken. It is lovely to meet you in person, I'm Celeste Rigel.”

Jyoti had planned to spend the day meeting with her new associate Yoo, and helping Charlie with the Batha problem near Spero, but she had to divert to Cato Neimodia to answer a distress call, taking an Okami cruiser to the nearby system.

The sole heavy cruiser emerged from hyperspace to find a Harrower in orbit, hordes of starfighters buzzing nearby in a giant furball - the meager local defense forces pitted against the pirates. Jyoti was on the bridge at that time, silently communing with the computers of the warship to analyze the situation. Fielding only cheap vulture droids and hyena bombers, the Neimodians were struggling against the pirates' starfighters, backed up by their mothership.

Meanwhile, on the ground it was chaos as the pirates attempted to storm the great vaults and corporate dens of the wealthy Colony world.

"Initiate ECM and focus all guns on that Harrower," she finally ordered. "Bring us around to it rear and target its command tower and mains engines solar ionization cannons. Saturate enemy fighters with salvos of magpulse warheads. Prep the strike teams for an orbital drop. Check in with the Neimodians and establish a datalink. I want to slave their droid fighters to our system."

First, she would tie up that Harrower at least establish parity with the enemy in space, then she would be taking a field trip to the surface to deal with the worst of the pirates.

After working with the Karkadons on Truuine, Hyonu busied himself with learning more about the more fisher groups of the galaxy. It seemed his lack of knowledge during the events on Truuine slowed their progress and he was forced to work against the clock. As much as he wanted to fill his day staring at the Whaladons, he had other matters to attend to before he was able to look at more interesting things. The masses of refugees flocked to the ship for treatment, which at times wasn’t enough for their pain. Hyonu watched a young Dolphinarian relax, the Doctor had administered a pain relief to the boy. There were still several tests that needed to be ran before they could truly handle what was going on with all of the patients. Sighing softly, Hyonu watched as the Dolphinarian exhale and fall asleep. It was a temporary relief, but it was something.

Leaving the room, Hyonu tossed his mask into the biological waste bin. He slowly peeled out of the paper clothing and disposed of it as well. Underneath, he wore his blue scrubs – something he hadn’t worn in a while. A tie and a pressed shirt was the usual attire for the Jedi Master in his current work, which right now he regretted. Taking on the contract presented to him took him away from his research – the research he had started to prevent situations such as this. Frustrated, he shoved the paper clothing deeper into the waste bin. A leather-bound foot kicked the waste bin, it wobbled but didn’t fall over.

Wandering down the hallway he found himself face to face with the Whaladons, he watched the sentient creatures move about in the water. The man wore his emotions on his face he looked at the patients, he felt it too – their pain and suffering. It boiled his blood and his fingertips dug into his bicep as folded arms tightened against him. He watched them move while trying to figure out how to help them, save them from the suffering the Sith inflicted.

As he watched, his eyes met two slender figures. It didn’t take him long to realize who they were – well one of them. His frame relaxed a little as he realized one of the figures was Ciana. As much as he disliked admitting it, having her there was comforting. She was intelligent, and she seemed to have the answers he didn’t. As he stared quietly, he thought about their last case with the aquatic life that inhabited this galaxy. It took a few moments, but he snapped out of his thought process and frowned for a moment – he wasn’t the type to reminisce such as that. Hyonu moved from his post and wandered over towards the women, a slight bow to his head he remembered her words from the last they had met. “Uh hello Dr. Teigra.” He bowed to the other woman and then stood straight, an awkward wave came from the man as he forced his odd smile. “Dr. Hyonu Ye.” The hand that waved extended towards [member="Celeste Rigel"]. He wanted to get through introductions, so he could catch Ciana up with the situation as well as the other woman. In the back of his mind he wondered why all the doctors and medical personnel were women, was this some sort of cosmic play on him – surrounding him with women, beings that he struggles to communicate with, especially the one he greeted first.

A short brunette approached Ciana at the tank, introducing herself as Celeste Rigel. Technically making her Ciana's boss as the head of the illustrious Silver Circle. Even if she hadn't said a thing, Ciana would have guessed she was a Jedi Master, radiating with a strong aura of positive energy. By contrast, Ciana's presence in the Force was decidedly more...neutral.

"Master Rigel, it's a pleasure," she said, removing her hand from the glasteel to shake with Celeste. "I'm Ciana Teigra. It's been quite the experience working with the Silver Circle this past year. Many interesting cases, I don't think I've been this fired up about my work since my time in the Kiribian Spacy."

Those were the days, as a science officer taking multi-year deep space missions exploring strange new worlds within this galaxy and beyond. She felt a great deal of nostalgia working with the Silver Jedi in her current capacity.

"Congratulations, on your promotion, by the way. I look forward to working with you."

While chatting with Rigel, she felt a familiar presence arrive: Hyonu. She looked to find the Seoulian already decked out in scrubs, immersed in work. If nothing else, he certainly was punctual. Still quite the stiff, though, but he seemed to be relaxing more with each encounter.

"Dr. Ye," she greeted, using his formal title in the presence of Master Rigel. "It looks like you you've already gotten a head start, as usual. I came to check out this latest bioweapon the Sith have concocted. Have you looked into it at all yet?"

ycJGAYEl.jpg

A treasure planet. That's what it was.
An Edan, of sorts - a paradise-world, with so much to offer... mystifying and enlightening. It had been some time since Marek had traveled to the Neimoidian System. It wasn't a place where his family had much strength, so he was mostly on his own. The land was a rich & vibrant place; known as Neimoidian "Purse Worlds", it was not the only one of its' kind - though Cato Neimoidia was believed to be the oldest. Only the richest neimoidians had been allowed to reside on Cato Neiomoidia & many still did - though it was not only Neimoidians that hid things away.
The Intergalactic Banking Clan controlled a secret vault, which was presently under siege. A group of well-funded, well-organized pirates led by a Wookie warchief had gained entry using direct-force explosives, then killed a number of the IGBC's personnel. Hostages had been taken, with only one warning given - "Stay out for 24 hours, or else."
Five hours later, a team had arrived, and were preparing to make entry. The raiders would never know what hit them.
HlLr6G6.png
Vincent kicked the raider viciously in the groin, and the man doubled over, belching out a vomitous scream. A balled fist connected with the side of the man's skull, just as an incoming fist fired toward the black-haired killer's face - nearly connecting, until Vincent spun and kicked the sagging corpse into a second man's legs. The larger human stumbled forward as he was thrown immediately off-balance, but the tall, black-haired wraith fired his left foot into the man's rear ankle. Immediately robbed of balance, the pirate toppled to the floor in a muffled scream and rolled onto his belly over his dead companion. The blaster in the pirate's hand swung up and nearly fired, (Vincent had seen, in slow motion, the raider's finger began to tighten) but the man's wrist was assaulted by a kick which caused his fingers to spasm, releasing the weapon, which clattered to the floor. The pirate was helpless.
They were too high up, and the walls too thick for the sound to carry far... and even if it could, the open air and far drop beyond would swallow the sound. But that didn't matter.
The same leg which had kicked his wrist wrapped like a tail around the raider's arm, pinning it and controlling him as Nyax fell, stabbing his knee into the man's belly and rolling onto the cold durasteel floor. He landed parallel to his opponent and scrambled to close the distance between them, dominating the man with a powerful hold over his arm. Drawing a long sliver of steel from beneath his coat, Vincent plunged the blade one-handed into the man's throat, closing off his windpipe.
Ten heartbeats later, and Vincent stood, wiping the blade on his dead opponent's clothing. These two had been sent to guard the small emergency landing pad the IGBC had installed near what they'd considered the "rear" of the facility - an entryway into the Administrative Wing, rather than the Vault's main entrance. It was difficult to access without special knowledge; in-particular, a cave cut into the mountainside, with it's own secure turbolift. The problem had been, knowing which cave to peek one's ship into... without risk of disturbing a lone Neimoidian Kreehawk. Or Worse.
When Vincent and his team had arrived, the landing pad had been deserted, but that hadn't lasted long. He was, however, the only one who'd left the ship, ambushing the raiders when they'd approached. The rest of the team wouldn't be far behind.

Objective: Thunderfoot

A pair of Luna security guards sat parked outside the forest on speeder bikes, while a silvery remote hovered just overhead. They tried to maintain a stone face, but one could easily sense their fear, those who had experienced the wrath of Thunderfoot first hand.

However, as soon as the Jedi began showing up, there was a swell of relief between them. One of the guards slid off their bike to address the Jedi, a lanky blonde male in green fatigues and light ballistic armor, a blaster carbine slung over his shoulder. His black cap featured the large white orb on the panel, a simplified version of the Luna logo. He muttered something into a comlink before addressing the Jedi.

"Sangha Laval," he introduced with a long drawl. "I take it that you folks must be the Jedi that Headquarters told us about. Welcome to our little slice of paradise."

"I know you already got the details about the attacks at Spero, so I don't need to go over that. RIght now, we peg the herd is sitting around 30 members, most full grown, all of them mean bastards. They weren't here when we started construction, so we take it that they must migrate across the continent to get ahead of the worst of the lightning storms. Must be one of their foraging grounds, lucky us, or rather lucky you paying for all this." He couldn't help but chuckle. "We're hoping you could get the herd to move on without us resorting to more...permanent resolution."

The only thing that had stopped Luna security teams from simply deleting the troublesome Bantha from existence was the nature of their client. It probably wouldn't sit well with the SJO just gunning down the Bantha like a pest. So the Silver Jedi were being given a chance to work their magic to remove the herd their way.

"We pinned down their watering hole a few klicks northeast from here, near a waterfall," he said as he motioned to the forest behind him, then pointed down at the ground riddled with large hoofprints. "You can't miss them...unless you really need a guide. Otherwise, we'll be getting back to running our patrols."

Sangha really hoped they didn't need him.

Objective: Lightning in a bottle

While Corsica was away on another mission that was to be done away from her, Jessica had another reason to come to Talasea. Hopefully there would be other Jedi, and perhaps she could teach some of them Electric Judgment. But if I had to use EJ myself I would need to be mindful of my own consumption of computational power so I'd have to use it at a high intensity on the first shot, she thought, while the preliminary plan was simply about modifying some molecular shielding system to absorb lightning storms. Because, in the end, naturally-occurring lightning storms were precisely that. The only other place she went to before that was subjected to the same weather conditions was Jabiim; when she arrived around Mount Kenali, the rest of the SEC personnel was hard at work setting up the systems, starting with the weather sensor and the molecular shield generator. But for some reaason modifications have to be made on-site, which would mean delicate adjustments were required in her mind. Now, she would need to inspect potential areas for refits that would achieve protection against ion damage, and we're talking theater shield kind of thing.

"My name is Jessica. While I could always refit some systems to absorb ionic damage, such as the sort of ion damage a lightning storm would inflict, I hope we have sufficient batteries or some other energy storage devices on hand. However, just installing regenerative cap drains on the shield generator won't cut it"

Darth Animus ripped the blade from the chest of the Nemodian guard, blood flying through the air as the body crumpled to the ground, joining a dozen others. He proceeded to step over the corpses of the guards, his left hand still gripping the neck of the Nemodian official, his strangled gasps echoing in the silent hall. As he approached the main vault, another guard came running around the corner, his eyes widening as the large Sith suddenly plunged a knife into his neck. Animus left the blade their for a moment, feeling his enemies life slowly leave their body, before pulling out the blade. He had his lightsaber still, but for enemies as worthless as these Nemodians, he preferred the simple pleasure of a bladed weapon.

"Open it." Animus tossed the Nemodian official on the ground before the vault, his order energizing the official to sprint forwards. Animus approached slowly as the Nemodians figures flew across the screen before finally a massive chime echoed through the chamber. Moments later the vault door began to open, revealing the wealth stored inside. Animus idly reaches over and snapped the neck of the Nemodian before walking towards the wealth. Before he could enter though a frantic transmission broke through his revere.

"Lord Animus, we have a Silver Jedi Order ship in orbit here, they are attacking us!" Pausing in his path, Animus looked up at the ceiling, unable to see but imagining the new battle happening in orbit. Grimacing inside his new helmet, he turned and gestured for several dozen pirates waiting nearby to rush in, beginning to loot the vault.

"Hold them off until we are finished here, and whatever you do protect the bloody engines. We can't escape with our new wealth unless we can get out of this sustem." He cut the transmission before they could respond, turning to walk away from the vault.

He knew the battle would soon come to the surface. The Jedi wouldn't allow him to simply make off with the wealth here. He would need to personally deal with them, and buy his pirates some time. Reaching down to his hip, he unclipped the latch holding his lightsaber in place. He felt he would need it this time.

Smiling, Celeste gave Ciana's hand a firm shake in greeting. Indeed she had seen Dr. Teigra's name on the Silver Circle's latest reports, the woman had been doing some rather complicated work as of late. Celeste, for her own part, was thankful that their team had expanded to include those that had advanced medical and scientific backgrounds – it enhanced their ability to solve a variety of problems.

She nodded, face coloring just slightly at the mention of her promotion.

“Thank you,” She said, “I look forward to working with you as well, we're certainly glad to have someone of your skills in the Silver Circle.”

Turning slightly, the Jedi healer spotted a Seoulian man making his way over. His appearance was professional, even if a bit rigid. Celeste watched with amusement as the man greeted Dr. Teigra, and then offered a slightly awkward introduction, complete with a tight smile.

“Very nice to meet you, Dr. Ye.” Celeste offered a respectful nod. “I'm Celeste Rigel.” Glancing from Hyonu to Ciana, she felt the tendrils of familiarity. “Ah, good – the two of you are already acquainted, yes?”

“Well, then.” she clasped her hands together. “It seems we've quite a task ahead of us today.”

The battle was on, as the Harrower quickly took notice of the Silver heavy cruiser now bearing down on it. Bright lances of light could be seen exchanged between the warships - energy bolts and slugs - and their shields lit up when contact was made. Soon, there were also white balls of explosions between them as well, missiles being intercepted by point defenses.

Ship to ship, the Okami held the advantage over the Harrower, somewhat larger and packing greater firepower. Hits hurt much less, as it molecular shields could soak up damage from the enemy ship's directed energy weapons and empower its own systems. Its accuracy was also being affected by the Okami's ECM suite, jamming and spoofing to confuse targeting sensors.

As for its large fighter complement, they were now all being pressured as they had to deal with not only the Neimodian's droid fighters, but also continuous missile salvos from the Okami.

For now, the pirates were pinned, giving the strike teams an opening to make planetfall.

Jyoti had long left the operations center and moved down to the hangers to deploy with the assault teams. Dozens of stealthy shuttles launched from the heavy cruiser, right under the noses of the pirates in orbit. Having already started out in low orbit, it wouldn't take long for the dropships to reached their final destination. Jyoti practically hugged the bay door of her shuttle, ready to burst out as soon as she got the great light and finally get to work on the surface.

The party was over.

Objective: Help the patients

When Reggie was finished, he examined the patient again. It seemed as though the patient had gotten better, but not fully well yet. He couldn't help but think that if his skills were better, he would have succeeded in fully healing the patient. The young Padawan sighed, disappointed in himself. Refocusing on the task at hand, Reggie decided to go and ask the more experienced healers on the ship.

Walking out of the room to find someone more experienced to cooperate with, Reggie took off the mask that he was wearing and threw it into the waste bin. Eventually, the young Padawan found a group of people. Reggie walked towards them in hopes of working with them, assuming that they were people that had much more experience than him and could guide him.

"Hello there. I hope i'm not interrupting anything. I'm here to lend my services to these patients, and wanted to coordinate with the others as well."

Reggie was being as professional as he could, showing respect to the group and letting them know that his focus was on helping the patients.

"My name is Reggie Faayare by the way. Allow me to help in any way you see fit."

The young Padawan bowed as he said this.

Samara was a doer so it was not a surprise that as soon as the Jedi Healer arrived on the hospital ship she had gone straight to work. The poor souls that had been brought from Dac were in need of their help in the greatest way as traditional medicines and therapies had not cured the amphibious beings from an unknown poison contracted during the Sith Empire's conquest of their water world.

The Sith were so cruel and inflicted such horrors upon those they bent to their will. That fact angered the Jedi Knight, but like always the Liann acknowledged the dark emotion and quickly released it into the Force as it did nothing to help the situation at hand. Samara would never give in to the darkness or give up fighting it.

The honey blonde gave a reassuring smile to the Mon Calamari she had been treating with the aid of the Force, then moved from the bedside in the humidified chamber to the next patient of the same species. Each healing session so far had brought immediate relief to the sick amphibians, though it only lasted short term and shorter as time went on. The lingering effects of the illusive poison agent used seemed to be winning the day, but that did not deter the young Jedi doctor. She still had hope they would find a cure. The Silver Circle had some of the best medical minds in the galaxy.
