Where you've lived and been

So, I thought it'd be cool to see where everyone's been and lived. I did some short work on mine.

Coloured in blue is where I've lived and in green where I've visited.

United States

Europe

The USA quality skipped out quite a bit, typical...

I've lived in Canada, Scotland, England and Australia though that was very temporary.

Now then I've visited Germany, America, Ireland and Sweden. Planning on a long trip to France soon though.

I've lived in New York (upstate), Florida (West Coast and Southwest Coast), and visited almost every state in the country except the northwest above California and Texas. I've been to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and that's about it. I cook for a living, so I meet people from around the world but I've never actually left the continental US, aside from that island trip.

Lived:
  • Colorado: Born
  • Florida: Raised
  • New York: Current
Visited:
  • Georgia
  • New Mexico
  • Wisconsin
  • South Carolina
  • North Carolina

  • The Virgin Islands
  • Jamaica

  • Belize
Mother dearest has an epic travel agent. Cruises and trips happen pretty much every year for dirt cheap. I'm planning on invading Canada here soon since I'm rather close to the northern border for once.

I move just about as often as I kill off my characters.

I was originally born in Germany, moved to the states, lived in Florida, North Carolina(Briefly), Maine, New Hampshire(briefly). During that time i visted pretty much every state on the East Coast. Then i moved back to Germany, then joined the army which lead me to visit exciting places like France and Afghanistan.

After the military i went on a euro-trip on which i visited a LOT of different countries including Italy, Austria, Poland, the Ukraine as well as a few others. When i was done with that i returned to Florida where i lived in Miami for a few years, during that time i visited a few other states like Louisiana and such, though I've never been past Las Vegas as far as the US goes.

Just recently i visited Scotland for the first time to see my girlfriend and it was quite beautiful.

As for where I'd like to go? New Zealand.

Damn, son. That's a big list.

I suppose I don't have nearly as an exciting story... Born and raised in Wisconsin up until my late teens, moved to Sweden after High School to pursue a romantic interest and spent two years with her until things broke off and then went back to Wisconsin, the cold place of cold doom.

New Zealand is on my list as well, along with Australia and much of that area of the world in fact... I have a travel lust. I Visited Amsterdam briefly on layover and took a ferry to Denmark to visit a friend I knew from another forum, had a beer, and nearly died from drinking coffee and coke at the same time. Great times. The rest of the states I mostly visited on vacation or from camping, I like to camp.

Otherwise, again. A colourful list. I always believe that locations make you. Before I went to Sweden, I honestly had a very narrow way of thinking -- perspective changes you.

Lived in Pennsylvania my whole life, in the same house.

I've been to Maryland, West Virginia, New York, Vermont, New Jersey, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and California. I've been to Chicago for all of two hours.

As for Europe I've been to Germany, France, England, Netherlands, Italy (twice), Greece and Switzerland.

Switzerland was my favorite.

Let me take you on a brief journey of the few places I've been.

Australia, tis my home.

Also, the following photo was taken about 10 seconds after I was tasered by the guy smiling to the camera. That was the second time that day I was tasered.

In early April I'll be leaving to travel to Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. I feel like traveling to Europe would be such a bore. Why visit a country you've seen on TV your entire life, that you hear about your entire life, when you could visit a country that is rarely seen on TV, and you rarely hear about, not to mention the culture is so different that it's unrecognisable. Though that is a personal preference.

Lets see:
Lived in: Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Virginia, Hawaii, Alaska, and South Korea
Visited or been in: Pretty much all of US. I do environmental work in a triangle on the east coast that extends from the Carolinas to New Jersey and West to Missouri. I've driven from Virginia to Alaska and back for the same sort of work.

My life is so uneventful compared to most of you. ._.

I've lived in Illinois, Ohio, Maryland and DC.

Been to Florida, Penyslvania, Missouri... Canada when I was a baby. I think i'm the only one here from the US that's never left the country... (As a baby dosen't count)

Lets see....

Lived: Santa Maria CA, Dayton OH, West Palm Beach FL, Cincinati OH, Chattanooga TN, Louisville KY, Jacksonville FL, Wakiki HI, Pretoria Sout Africa, and finally Watertown NY.

I cant remember all the places Ive visited.

Had to google Tenerife, but that's a sound list -- I've always wanted to go to Qatar -- it's on my list. Also I had a lul at Texas being listed as (USA), some of those folks would be happy if you considered it independent ;)

@Vandal

You must've visited a lot then.

[member="Mrrew"] , I've only been much like you for most of my life until i just went for it :)

[member="Juniper Le Fey"]

Turkey is on my list, I want to visit the coasts.
