Question What are you not good at writing?

1. Engaging plots. I can write well enough to entertain myself. But that isn't what the forum is for. Writing anything that can keep people invested and engaged for longer than a few replies in is just terrible for me.

2. Force Users. I don't know enough about the infinate levels and Force power skills that can basically seem to solve every problem and scenario imaginable.

3. Combat. All of my plots involving a bit of combat or combat training stop a few replies in. So I lack the expertise that everyone else seems to have.

4. Romance. Liin is so shielded and protective of her heart. I feel as though it is because I am that way too. Taking a chance on it is very difficult.

5. Politics. I gave it a good try for a couple of years. Yet the cliques on the forum left little room for newcomers to have any impact. More often than not, my replies were ignored in group settings. Everyone else has a better handle on every problem that arises. So I felt more like Liin was a waste of space than anything else.

I do love drama, tension and high stakes. My new job allows me to delve into more of the written word. I can only hope that it will help me to write better on the forum so that the interest and engagement is there, ha ha! :)

1. NFU - I haven't truly written a NFU yet, however, as a D&D player I always struggled with non-magically inclined classes/characters and I've noticed that mindset also travels to Chaos. I love my warlocks, wizards, and clerics, etc...be they fantasy or Star Wars lol

2. Jedi/Lightsiders/Generally good people: I can write characters that have a streak of good morals/morality - however, I find it to be a lot more natural for me to write as a dark aligned/troubled/evil character. I want to write a Jedi and I might try my hand at it at some point but I already have a feeling that I will naturally gravitate towards the dark side with them lol.

3. Fleeting/spaceship fighting. Never done it, don't understand how the hell others do it. Not for me.

4. PVP. I can do it, I've written it. It's not my favorite thing in the world. Mostly because I am a very visual person in my mind and it is very hard for me to picture how my character will react to another PC's actions and if they do something that doesn't make sense in my mind, then I really struggle to figure out my own response.
