This planet was paradise in Katrina's eyes full of planets and animals to discover and study. There were no people or buildings anywhere just nature. She was tickled to just be here as she admittedly missed her life in the forest already and it was only a few weeks. Bothawui she found to be so different than what she was used to but she was getting used to it and her apartment. She had found the more quite area where she was looking to get herself a little cabin. A place where she could get away from it all and just relax with her lover. She had a feeling he would like what she had picked out as well.

Running forward she twirled around in a circle as she waited for the rest of the group to catch up with her. They all seemed less thrilled than she to be here except for Marek. He seemed excited to see if they would find something worthwhile on this planet. Her spinning only stopped as she spied a purple plant or rather it looked purple Kat wasn't sure as she hadn't seen anything like this before. "You guys can keep going. I'll be right there," she grinned glancing up to the few members of the party whom had stopped with her. "Where do you think these temple ruins are anyway?" She questioned as she grabbed out her notebook and pen from her bag. If they were going to just stand there she may ask them.

Kat was in no hurry to find anything but she was curious as she really had no idea where they were going. They in her opinion were just wandering around but she wasn't complaining nor would say anything of the sort as she was rather enjoying herself out here.

Marek wasn’t upset about being on this trip. Really, he heard about what Kat was putting together and figured now was as good a time as any to join up and get himself a little adventure in the galaxy. What he needed to do to keep adventuring was get himself a ship. He had his eyes on a few, just needed to see what he could pick out. Then, he’d have a ship, a job, and maybe that last bit, y’know, the girl, would fall into place. But that was going completely off the radar.

Truth be told, he enjoyed wandering. He enjoyed not belonging. But with a home now? That made him feel he needed to have someone to come home to, someone to defend. And now Kat was off playing flower child and spinning around. She was interesting, huh? Keep heading up? Sure. Still, he was going to hang back a little, especially as she asked about the ruins. “Well, from orbit I thought I saw them. This foliage is just messing me up.” He took a second to clear his head.

Right, because the Force here was going to be useful. There was Kat, glowing like someone who knew what she was doing, the dark spots, the hot dark spot with the green skin, and plants. Lots and lots of life. He could do this without the Force, but he wanted to learn how to work this stuff. It was going to be his test for himself.

Youth. Such a wonderful concept at times. He had to keep reminding himself that he needent be nearly as morose as he usually was. Here he was, back in the known galaxy, on a random adventure with allies. How long had it been? Years? Decades? It brought him back to his youth, to the old days of the Sith, when he and his older brother would do things like this just for the sake of doing them. When life was as random as it possibly could be, and he looked to the stars with giant, saucer-like eyes. When have a saber was the coolest thing in the world, and not an extension of his being. When life was a lot simpler than it was now. But this was the natural progression of getting older, wasn't it? Youth, indeed.

"The ruins you seek are not far from here. Still, I leave it up to you to find them. After all, what fun is it if I just point you directly to them, hmm?"

Ket actually stifled a grin as he flattened the lapels of the full length black leather coat he wore over midnight black Templar Armor. He tapped each of his forearms to make sure his lightsabers were in place, then put a hand to his hip, making sure his slugthrower was at his side. All checked out, and he placed boot to ground as he began to follow them pair, the Dread Guard that came with them not far behind.

Doc moved silently through the foliage of the strange alien world with a relaxed stride. He was technically helping to escort two people who didn't seemingly need escorts, a pair of Templars. It was all a bit strange. Still, it wasn't Doc's place to question the orders of those above him, he simply did. So for now the highly trained clone would just continue to cradle his weighty shotgun and marvel at the wonders around him.

Keeping in stride with Doc was Maverick, the elder sibling of the two. To be quite honest, CC-308 had drawn his first breath only a fraction of a second prior to Doc, but when you have ten thousand siblings, hierarchy by age becomes quite important when the last puffcake goes up for grabs. Nonetheless, the armored clone found himself out of his comfort zone in this alien world, about to dive into ancient ruins. While an elite replication of Jango Fett himself, beefed up by Vong cells, Maverick felt as though his specialties were best suited for urban battlefields. In all honesty, he hated alien worlds such as this, for one never knew what would jump out of the buses.

However, up ahead was the Jedi Master he helped bring into the Confederacy, and that fact alone was one of the main reasons he had volunteered to come along in the first place.

"Having fun yet, brother?" he asked Doc as they stepped along.

"Definitely been to worse planets." Doc replied with a chuckle, remembering his various experiences in a stuffy ER room on planets across the Confederacy. By comparison this was a walk in the park, even in full gear. He glanced over at his fellow clone, noting his friendliness. It was still largely foreign to Doc, most of his training has been done away from his brothers and in the general population. This unique upbringing caused Doc to has a bit of hesitation when handling unknown troopers. He simply hadn't gotten used to them yet.

"Apologies if I don't remember you, I don't know how many Commandos I've worked on."

CC-192 Storm

Character
Storm stalked silently, besides two of his brothers, whom had struck up a pleasant conversation with each other. The jungle was thick, so he had to tread carefully. He remained solemn, clutching the rifle close to his body. The air was thick with warmth, humid, hell in his armour. He remembered not to grumble and mumble about it, it would not bode well to make a bad impression. The clone moved swiftly, at the flanks of the group, as served him well.

Una broke into a steady jog to catch up to the others. She had been too deeply involved in glancing at the foliage as they walked and paused for a minute to take it all in. As she caught up to the three she exhaled heavily and offered them all a bright smile. "So this is exciting." It was clear to anyone who was paying close enough attention that Una was a young clone, young enough to be intrigued by everything pushed close enough. She was taking extra care to keep her eyes on the floor stepping carefully around potential dangers.

She glanced up, once, to inspect the faces of the other clones and the two Templars. For now, Una had decided to keep her mouth closed, until conversation presented itself. She wore an excited expression on her face all the while, barely able to drink in the scenery.

"If I stopped spinning around and actually used my senses I'm sure I could find them in no time," she smiled as she shook her her hand placing her pen and notebook back in her bag. They had all come here to look at ruins not watch her categorize flowers, plants and animals. "I'm just more a customized to the forest living in the city is stuffy at least for me. I'll get used to it though."

She wanted to take the plant with her but she knew better than to disturb wildlife. It was best to let it be but she could take some of the seeds which had fallen to the ground. Once pocketing those she began walking with the group again.

"Reach out with the Force Marek and you'll find those ruins for us. Trust in the Force." She wasn't his master persay but Ket was right this could be used as a teaching lesson for him. Kat didn't need one of those, she was very in tune with her surrounds as it was places like this she felt most at home.

She was surprised at first to see that a few of the clones had decided to come along for the ride. This didn't seem like the type of thing they would be into nor really trained for besides the Templars could take care of themselves. It was still nice to have them around though, the more the marrier.

Another had caught up. Storm turned his head sharply and almost glared at the new arrival. Storm wondered why Templars needed such a potent guard. The Dread Guard had other business, asides from guarding forcies. The new arrival looked young, and Storm felt a rare smile come to his face. He spoke quite solemnly, but small traces of almost sad happiness filled it.

"Yes. Exciting. New worlds and all that. I'd advise you keep close, who knows what could be out there?"

Right, so Kat might be a little off. Not off in a bad way, just her level of worry was way down. It was nice to see that could happen. Marek was too hardwired to be carefree. He wanted to make sure his senses were primed if something should arise and he needed to blast something. He did have his typical loadout on him. A slugthrower on his right hip, his kukri blade on the other and his rifle on his back, he felt he could take on anything.

And with flower child Katrina joining them again, he looked back at her. “All I’m feeling is… everything. I can’t shut it out.” He shook his head, closing his eyes tightly, and grabbing the bridge of his nose. All that noise was ruining his cool.

The Clones, though, they were quiet. He could feel them and for that he was grateful. But why were there so many here? Intending to occupy the ruins? Still, he figured, being a Seeker he’d need to take some on scouting missions. Hopefully a few of the Mirialan variety. But they weren’t as bad as he was expecting. Just… A lot of them. Maybe some experienced clones.

Una grabbed at the opportunity for conversation and curled the corners of her mouth up in a light smile. "I'm Una." She quickened her pace, struggling to keep up with his large steps and keep focus on the foliage dressing the ground. "I can handle myself." She said, veering off to the right as something caught her eye, though she still spoke as she picked her way through the forest. She kept herself vaguely aware of where the others were.

Kat nodded she very much understood how hard it was to block things out sometimes. She had forever had issues blocking out the sounds of the things and people around her. She could feel the emotions of others and feel what they were feelings. The Master didn't like to pry but sometimes things leaked out. The clones were the only ones whom she couldn't wrap her head around. She never knew what they were thinking or feeling. It was part of what drew her to him but at the same time it scared her. They could get past her most prized gift.

"Close your eyes, take a deep breath and clear your mind. I want you to focus on one thing and only one thing. Focus on the ruins don't let anything else creep inside. I know it's hard but you can do it. They are close by."

She had never been much of a teacher but she was trying her best. Kat hoped to help him with his issues with the Force just like her Masters had assisted her. It wouldn't be ease for either of them up in time she believed in time she could help him if he was patient. Now wasn't the time though as this wasn't a mission.

"If you wish I could teach you more when we get back to the Temple as well. Private training?"

There was a lot of learning Marek needed to do, he was ready for it. Still, it was just tricky, learning to restructure ones mind. He knew a little about sense, from his parents. But really, it was only to know something was there. Not what the thing was, or if it was thinking. Just that it was alive and could cause you harm. That was danger sense, wasn’t it? Not really sense-sense. Still, it wasn’t going to be too tricky and different to learn, was it?

Taking the instruction, the Templar Aspirant took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. That was always trickier said than done, wasn’t it? He reached out, working his way through the foliage, looking for the ruins. He needed to find them. And… there was something, it felt like an area less dense. Maybe that was it?

“Feels… this way.” He pointed, mostly in the direction they were traveling, with a little detour. Right, maybe Ket would confirm or deny that. But the offer for more training? Sure. Definitely. “I’d appreciate that! Got to prove my worth with the Templar, and the only way is if I can learn more.” He smirked, looking at the gathered. That was a lot of clones. Were they going to be defending every group of CIS explorers?

"It seems that Marek's connection to the Force is strengthening. We are heading in the right direction... for now. Many obstacles lay ahead."

Ket chukled lightly as he kept step with Marek and Kat, the Dread Guard following behind them. Truth be told, Ket had use of the Dread Guard once they reached the ruins they were headed to. But for now, simply getting there was the task at hand. Truth be told, this was where the fun in this adventure lay for him. He wanted to test the boy, to see what he was capable of. True, Kat was a Master of the Jedi way, and in all honesty, Ket did not want to lose such a promising Templar to the ways of the Lightside. Still, he was content with their progress, and knew that should the time come, Marek would be pliable enough.

"Anything I can do to help too. I want to earn my keep around there as well. It was awful nice of them to take my pets at well." She knew very well how hard at times it was to block out others and just focus on one single thing. Even though she was a master now Kat still had a problem with us things. Even so she would be more than happy to help him the best that she could.

"I'm an Empathy so it's hard at times to disconnect. What type of obstacles?" She turned to glance to Ket wondering if perhaps he was just talking in circles trying to scare them or if there truly was a point to what he said. She couldn't sense anything else but perhaps she wasn't looking deep enough for now she would just keep going.

He wasn’t exactly not a Force user, his father had tried to teach him a bit. But back then Marek wasn’t willing to learn. Now? Now he knew how to do this. He knew what he wanted from this life. And it was taking some time to figure out, but he wanted to give to this group. He wanted to become useful. Maybe not so much a blunt weapon, but it wasn’t far to believe.

The Starchaser line historically worked with the Galactic Empire that descended from Palpatine’s era, as well as the Fel Empire. Force users were a mix of Sith training, Dark Jedi training and general Force knowledge. Like all Starchasers, he was loyal to Warbird Wing, when the time came, but his father had left the Wing for a life on the rim. And that was where Marek learned from the Zeison Sha, and knew what he wanted to do with himself. Sort of.

He was going to learn the Force as well as he could, as well as the Templar could instruct him.

And it was going to be interesting, what he could learn from each side. He wasn’t evil, but he wasn’t completely selfless. “Help is always welcome, at this point.” Marek nodded. Hearing from the Sith, the Aspirant turned. Really, working with both sides of the coin was tricky for him. Tricky, but not unwelcome. A hand went down to his slugthrower. “Whats out there?”

CC-829 Wraith

Character
Character
Wraith's arms were extended out in front of him, peeling dense foliage out of his path as he silently glided forwards through the undergrowth. He was out on the left flank, about twenty-five meters from the nearest Dreadguard. A quick glance to the right and he situated his eyes on his nearest fellow trooper briefly, his figure flickering in and out of view as he passed foliage that seemed only to be becoming denser and denser. Wraith did not speak, but walked without making any sound, simply waiting for orders. His utility belt made a quiet rattling sound as it tapped against the surface of his armor. His blaster pistol was holstered snugly inside the ring of the belt. He could feel it against his armor.

It was hot. He could feel himself perspiring as the intense heat that was being stored by the density of the surrounding foliage penetrated his armor. The homeostasis-like temperature controls in his suit did their work, but it hadn't stopped him from working up a sweat walking for seemingly hours through this heavily forested-like planet. "829 Wraith, checking in. No sign of the objective yet." he spoke simply, the words becoming audible as they echoed through his voice reciprocator embedded in his helmet. He threw another glance to the right. He couldn't maintain a regular visual on them due to the terrain, but he kne rest of the squad were out there. Spotting threats in this situation would be difficult. He'd have to keep his wits about him.

Wraith wondered how a temple could possibly built in this sort of terrain. It must be located in some sort of clearing, which would mean scouting and reconnaissance of it would be easy, but moving to the actual objective would certainly mean crossing open ground. If the temple was defended by hostiles, it'd be much simpler to take them out from the cover of the treeline, he theorized. His train of thought broke briefly as he paused to duck under a thick tree lying splintered horizontally across the path he was carving through the vegetation. Almost rhythmically, his hand went around his back to check the electrobinoculars strapped to his armor against his utility belt hadn't become any more loosened. Nope. It was fine. Wraith lifted his head back to glance upwards at the branches and vines looming overhead. It was an eerie place, walking soundlessly through the vast environs that enveloped them like a sarlacc pit enveloped its victims. He huffed impatiently, and carried on walking through the foliage.

Caboose started off towards his brethren, encumbered by the weight of his DLT-19 which he held in both hands, index finger just an inch off the trigger; he was ready, and focused. He stumbled a bit trying not to sink into the lush grounds, already cursing under his breath at the dank air and sweaty nature of the jungle. Caboose scanned the treeline carefully, finally moving up to the left side of the others.

"Kriffing lovely place this is. Feel like somethin' might jump out and try to mate with my helmet. What's the plan, boys?"

His words rang comical and insincere; if anything at all jumped out he would be sure to give it a nice shower with his baby. No stuns necessary.

"why a jungle planet." Kallion said aloud "I know there might be some temple here but-" he stopped himself upon hearing some strange animals "you know what, I'll just stay quiet. Don't want to distract myself too much, or pester you guys anymore." he stepped around some shrubbery before taking his pulse rifle off his back. The planet itself was nice, but he didn't really know what wanted to kill him or not, and it was just too uncharted and it would most likely stay like that for a while, Not that space was though, not completely anyway. "so what is supposed to be in this temple? he asked.
