Description: The premier design of the OmniPod technology, the Wasp-class Starfighter was created to prove that Corellian Engineering was still innovating even in the modern era. Capable of being configured while in transit aboard capital ships, the Wasp-class is a lesson in adaptability and brutal efficiency. Launched with a sophisticated targeting system, a necessity of the omnipods, and an advanced deflector shield generator capable of recharging at a faster rate (though not capable of taking more damage than a standard shield would be capable of), the prime configuration of the Wasp sees it into combat with a concussion missile launcher paired with an ioncannon on either wing tip with the "stinger" of the fighter holding one terrifying composite beam cannon with two laser cannons.

Alternate configurations exist, giving the Wasp-class a variable mission profile. If there was any downside to the Wasp it would be production costs, which prevents it from being launched in any significant numbers. As a result, the Wasp is best suited for the elite starfighter pilots who could best take advantage of the ship's strengths.

Okay, I love the idea and it keeps the fighter fresh and doesn't cross it over into bomber territory or make it anything other than a fighter but, considering that it is new tech and there's no dev thread, I'm wanting to treat it like any other 'advanced' system and this already has two others. I'd say either drop the speed to 2 to reflect the large power draw this suffers from or remove one of the advanced systems.
