PRODUCTION INFORMATIONSPECIAL FEATURES
  • Offers modest clarity from distraction
STRENGTHS
  • Clarity: The native properties of Kasha crystals were an ideal inclusion in the armband's design. Specifically, when worn, the armband aides the wearer in keeping their mind free from battlefield distractions. While dangers within their proximity, such as explosions or injury, will still impact the wearer as typically expected, one will find that they are able to ignore the noise and whirlwind of combat marginally better while wearing the armband.
    .
  • Recognition: One of the highest honors that an Ascendant warrior can earn is the warrior's bond. It is a physical symbol that represents the bravery, devotion, and sacrifices required to keep the nation whole and thriving. Thus, bearers of the bond are immediately recognized by all military and political personnel for their valor.
WEAKNESSES
  • Nullification: The properties of Kasha are Force-based. Therefore, they can be nullified by entering the neutral fields of Ysalamir or severely dampened by being exposed to voidstone.
    .
  • Fallible: As the Warrior's Bond is made of decorative materials, it is unable to withstand direct damage on the battlefield. Explosions, blasters, lightsabers, etc. can easily damage or destroy it.
DESCRIPTION

Bravery. Devotion. Sacrifice.

When the survivors of cataclysm first settled on Verun, these three values helped each survive. And as the outside world bared its teeth against them, these values inspired the mighty to rise up. Within the armed forces of the Ascendancy, strength is certainly a trait worth praising. Yet bearing these three ideals - these which built the nation of the day - is worth even more.

Thus, the Warrior's Bond was born to represent those who uphold these values in battle.

As one of the highest honors within the Ascendancy, it is reserved only for those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Those who lead the charge or press to victory can find their names lauded. Yet, beyond the recognition by peers and all, the Bond itself provides a boon. Whilst wearing it, the distractions of the battlefield are mitigated to a modest degree. With this, those of valor may be able to bring further victories to the Ascendancy.
