STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
_______________________________________________________________________
+ Gladiator: Involved in underground gladiatorial combat since she was a child, Vlora knows how to kill, and she knows how to do it right, and she certainly has little qualms about doing it.

+ Munitions Expert: If you need help with weapons, she's your girl. Skilled in the maintenance, construction and deployment of ordinance big enough to destroy small towns, you can rely on Vlora to get the job done, money back guaranteed.

+ Loyalty's Price: Once Vlora signs on to a cause, you'll be sure to know she'll respect it and hustle hard with excellent work ethic.

+ - Triple-Cultured: Vlora is the product of three distinct warrior cultures. The Echani, the Rattaki, and the Mandalorians. As a result, you can expect her to be an incredible hand-to-hand combat fighter but is also divided among three cultural lines which results in a profound crisis of identity on occasion.

- Firestarter: Vlora likes making things explode. A bit of a pyromaniac, this is great for when you need things to go boom -- Not so great when she's bored. That house fire wasn't her, promise.

- Not Exactly Fluent: Vlora had little need to learn Basic until she was old enough to viably leave her homeworld, Rattak. She knows enough to pass, but is more comfortable speaking in a mix of Rattaki, Huttese and Mando'a, and generally tends to not understand much of what's said to her in Basic unless you word it carefully.

- Lost: Vlora is a Mandalorian who has never seen Mandalore, and might never considering the status of things. She has no living relatives or fellow clan members (that she knows of), raised solitary and away from the culture that could have fostered something better in her.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
_______________________________________________________________________
Vlora Eldar wasn't born into her clan. Born Vlora Jakuung, the hybrid daughter of an Echani noble and a Rattataki soldier, she was quick to be given up to an orphanage due to the strain of raising such a child in that sort of doomed familial unit. No regrets, no second thoughts, simply placed away to be another's problem. Unfortunately, that didn't necessarily make things better. Rattatak is a climate of gladiators and warriors, and a young Vlora found herself trafficked into underground fighting at the ripe age of 12. Pit up against beasts much larger than herself to start, it was a life of survival, of learning how to protect oneself with the harshest teacher; experience. Still, there was no doubting that she had potential if she's made it this far without being taken down.

Years passed and the little warrior graduated from fighting pit beasts to fighting true men. Even as a teenager she left devastation in her wake, attracting attention in the underbelly of a society meant to respect honourable warriors for being one who broke the mould and fought with erratic, misplaced callousness. It was when a particular onlooker witnessed her wrath that she found an out -- A lone member of Clan Eldar, a minor blip of the Mando'ade, was swift in saving her potential from more years in the ring that could have broken her. Distanced from the Empire, Vlora faced a schism when presented with a new life as a Mandalorian warrior, fighting for clan instead of fighting for herself. Adopted into Eldar as the rogue's chosen daughter, she learned things she could have never learned in a ring; Reading, writing, Mando'a, and some Basic, though she was slow to grasp the last one and still is.

Her exposure to wider Mandalorian culture was stagnant and led to her rebellious streaks down the line. There had to be more than the two of them, more than this life that felt lonelier than ever even though she wasn't alone. It all came to a vitriolic head with Vlora insisting leaving her homeworld to find fellow Mandalorians, despite the protests of her buir -- who only assured her that she would not find the things she sought. Willing to take the chance, Vlora left Rattatak and has not returned since. Her knowledge in weaponry and fighting kept her afloat, often operating as something of a weapons merchant with wares to offer.

But her original purpose isn't lost on her. She searches for those like her, fellow lost boys and girls, those Mandalorians who aren't quite like the rest. What will she find in this upside-down galaxy? Well, that remains to be seen.
