"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."

- Name: Vinithi
- Designation: Sentient, Semi-sentient(some lab-created variants)
- Homeworld: (Lab-created: Thule and Serpena)
- Language: Basic
- Average height of adults: Typically around 2 meters
- Skin color: Varies from a pale, sickly green to a dark green. When shifted to appear human, skin can vary from a pale off-white to a rich, deep tan.
- Hair color: Typically either dark green or black, can be dyed to a variety of other colors
- Breathes: Type I or II atmosphere, can survive in some type III atmospheres assuming only contaminants classify it as that, not a lack of nitrogen, oxygen, or sufficient pressure
- Strengths:
Can regrow lost limbs with sufficient time and resources
Can survive critical physical damage so long as most of the biomass is still attached to the head(eg, being stabbed all the way through with a sword or lightsaber)
Can survive in space for a couple hours while in a hibernatory state
Cannot be intoxicated via standard drugs or alcohol
- Weaknesses:
Requires regular doses of sunlight in order to remain at peak condition
Exceptionally vulnerable to fire, decapitation, and radiation(lightsabers can cause significant scarring only removable via surgery)
Requires significant amounts of water and food or new biomass to regrow limbs or repair serious physical damage
Exceptionally vulnerable in hibernatory form
Cannot naturally reproduce with animals or half-plants, only full-plants
Children not born by the union of two full Vinithi are sterile, significantly reducing the naturally grown population
Can become intoxicated through oral ingestion of liquid sugar(eg. soft drinks), though a tolerance to it can be built

- Distinctions: Similar to Sylphe and other humanoid plants, the skin and hair of a Vinithi is comprised entirely of plant biomatter. The skin has a distinct smoothness to it that feel just a tad off from that of typical human beings. Being a carnivorous plant, there are several differences between them and animal-based sentients, namely a breathing system based through the skin, typically absorbing carbon dioxide and emitting oxygen, as well as a simple proto-stomach which dissolves all meat put into it through acids of modest power, absorbing the resulting nutrients. Vinithi have no distinct bone structure either, relying on distinctly denser and thicker sections of their near-uniform internal biomass to act as a sort of cartilagious skeletal substitute, similar to that of a shark. Similar to Sylphe as well, female Vinithi can exude powerful pheromones, considered superior in their entrancement properties to those of Zeltrons and Falleen. A rare feature is the ability to extend and retract their arms, though this burns through a significant amount of their nutrients and is very rarely done as a result.
- Average Lifespan: 500-700 years
- Races: Early lab-created Vinithi were blobular, with vine-like tentacles to grab things and locomote with(see above picture). Less than twenty of these were created before the original human-like Vinithi body was reproduced, and those non-humanoid Vinithi were either feral or born comatose. They are currently stored in stasis chambers on Serpena and Thule.
- Diet: Predominantly, Vinithi subsist off a diet of meat and water. Plants, while still edible to them, are slowly absorbed into their biomass once ingested orally, unlike meat, which is broken down into nutrients naturally.
- Communication: Verbal, audible speech.
- Culture: Same as the rest of the galaxy.
- Technology level: The same as the rest of the galaxy.
- General behavior: Same as the rest of the galaxy.
- History: The first experiments that would lead to the Vinithi were performed upon Jak Sandrow by Sith scientist Circe Savan. Seeking to create a "plantimal," she injected Jak with a series of retrovirals that slowly altered his physiology to become partially plant. In retaliation, he did the same to her, leaving both half-Vinithi, though neither of them knew it as such. The original body of Circe, half-converted into a plant, was acquired by the scientist Velok after her death, and its DNA was used(as well as significantly merged with Zelosian, Sylphe, and Oasis Mother DNA) to create the Sith's new body - and Circe was reborn as a full Vinithi, the first, and for the longest time, only member of her kind.
But who wants to be alone in the universe? Having been told by Velok of her kind's reproductive difficulties, Circe began to rigorously experiment in the lab with altering the genetic properties of her biomass, allowing individual chlorine tablet-sized discs to be used to spawn new members of her species. The program had started with captured Mandalorian Yvorre Morcade as the experiments' incubator, and limited results were had, full gestation not successful for the first nine experiments. From the tenth onward to the nineteenth, work was done to make the now full-term-living experiments humanoid in shape, like Circe herself. Experiments twenty through twenty-three did so, but no life was within them. Experiment twenty-three is notable, however, for being the body of Sith Lady Karin Dorn, incubated within Sith Knight Paega Anginous.
A breakthrough was finally reached with experiment twenty-four(Darren Savan/Renn'Dar Sekairo), the first to truly live. The "son" of Ven'Rain Sekairo, he is the first lab-grown Vinithi to have any sort of active cognitive thought. Whether his mind will remain fully functional as he grows to adulthood is still unknown.
- Notable Player-Characters: Circe Savan, Elijah Rowlin(half-Vinithi), Karin Dorn
- Intent: This sub is necessary to fill a void left by the site crash. Velok had already created and submitted a currently-approved submission for Circe's new body, but it was deleted in the crash. In the event said writer couldn't replace the empty void of the current submission's state with its original info, a substitute/replacement was needed, that being this submission.
