Manufacturer: Tel'alith Labs
Type: Communication
Market Status: Open Market
Production: Mass-Produced
Weight: Weightless
Size: N/A

MATERIALS:
  • Coding lines

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Double encryption network end to end
  • Can reactivate a ships AI (If a independently using company decides to go that route)
  • Can control regular comm to do actions e.g. send a droid control signal from one ship three nodes over and jump on the regular comm to finish sending the signal
  • Light weight and easy to slice into an existing Holonet relay
  • Coded to run on normal Holo relays. Has code already ready for the light based OS phase of the network
STRENGTHS
  • End to end Encryption: Data is encrypted end to end with a two factor controlled system
  • Easy to deploy: Just move a WDY, or WS&S transceiver munificent granting initial access. Or move once close to slice a Holonet relay
  • Hello: Can be used to send signals to the ships with Veil Nodes
  • Lightweight code: The code is compact and well written
WEAKNESSES
  • Range: The system is limited in range
  • Internal Achilles Heel: Could be used on the local level to hijack a comm ship
  • Nodes: Runs optimally with Veil Nodes processing the security authentication and routing
DESCRIPTION

The Veil Network worked fine for the families, but times change. They found themselves running the government of the Tarisian Republic. After a time and the collapse of a few galactic players, and the rise of another group of Sith... The Veil network needed to expand to provide comms to the downtrodden along with the newly emerging Confederacy of Free Worlds. Thus the work began to make a network that could be free from the control the Sith were exerting over the holonet.

Using what they learned from the Veil networks coding, and the Veil Transceiver physical limits, they began to make a version that could be slotted into existing comm buoy's of the galaxy. Using their old network as a coding start the team began their work. The code package was optimized for the later addition of light based droid brain comm nodes to facilitate faster and more secure communications in the future. But for the time being the code was made to deploy in the background of existing Holonet broadcasting technology. Built to be like a partitioned section within a drive, with the drive owner not knowing the section is even supposed to be there.
