Werr Shipping & Security was founded in 183bby by Alrin Werr as his second venture and one meant to spread far & wide. Alrin Werr and his two allied families on Flax, the Du'Thra's & Tel'alith's had been plotting for a while how to gain freedom of their Subspecies from King Alric. WS&S was created to buy ships from Werr Drive Yards which in part had engines from Du'Thra Engineering & weapons etc from Tel'alith Labs. Those ships with heavy droid automation began to try and corner the shipping nutrients back to garden worlds from ecumenopolis's take food to them & ship other goods. The company operated a private encrypted communication network called: The veil; companies, people, etc. could pay to use the network. The other side of the company would contract out the droid laden ships to protecting, guarding, and escorting duties that made sense for risk vs reward of contract. The ships that they have are mostly Recusants, Munificents, with some Providences. The Munificent's run the spine of their private network, much like they did for the Banking clan eons ago.
RATIONALE
The latest owner was Helsrin Werr running the company along with the families other two for decades. In the last few turbulent years Helsrin started to take personal interest in the day to day operations, even going out on contracts with his personal Recusant ship The Shaped Void. This would eventually prove to be his downfall, while his daughter Aurine was into her twenties he vanished on a contract. After three years the board Appointed Aurine as the new CEO with a provision that if Helsrin shows up and is in sound shape that he will be re appointed as CEO.
