DESCRIPTION
A conceptual and design successor to the Raider-class and Raider II-class Corvettes, the Vastator-class Corvette is designed with a similar goal in mind and with upgraded systems and weapons in place to make it as, if not more, successful than its predecessors. Designed by the Aresian Ship Wrights on Vandemar, the ship is built for all imperial remnants including the Empire of the Lost.
Equipped with an array of weapons which make it an ideal anti-piracy vessel as well as capable at taking out smaller or equal sized vessels, it is excelling as a patrol and support ship. It has armor to suit the task as well as the necessary attributes to help enforce order or even serve as a flagship for small special operations when necessary due to its atmosphere going capabilities. It is not designed to perform dedicated escort duties or fight in the line of battle, due to its critical lack of heavy weaponry as well as serious defenses and durability.
