Vanquoish Fears (Mandalorian Empire Dominion of Vanquo & Taris Hex AB21)

She nodded. That was true. It was important to be sure to be able to keep attachment and have an attachment. She loved her family more than anything. Of course, she had friends she cared deeply for as well. And clan members and such. Still, though, she knew she couldn't be attached to everybody. She would need to think more about it, in truth.

She chuckled quietly as Keira tried to make out like she had better role models. It was true - Kaine and Yasha were both amazing people, in terms of family and Mandalorian Empire. But it was good to have people like Keira and Alkor and help her out. No one was perfect in life, including Beth, but that didn't change the fact that Keira and Alkor were awesome people that she trusted and knew would do their best for the Empire.

They may not believe it, and while Beth didn't know of their past, she knew of who they were currently. Alkor was an awesome, kick arse Mandalorian. Keira was an awesome Alor who cared, protected and was just in general amazing. There wasn't much of anything that would change her opinion of that.

She nodded as her question was answered and they went to where Kaine informed them. Hunting together? That made her a little nervous but she gave a little nod as she walked. "Will do," she said quietly as she walked up towards the group. She had her blaster carefully aimed & ready to fire at a moments notice.

"Ohh, I see. Yeah, I mean, that makes sense. You're still a leader, though! The Council, Alor, and stuff. You were Mand'alor for a while, weren't you?" Her eyes finally caught the monster that lay in front of them. "What is that..."

“What you mean Alky isn’t nice? Alkor's better than nice, he’s always gonna be around to protect us and that’s waaaaaaaay better than nice.” Adara sniffled, hugging into Asha and letting the scene from [member="Alkor Centaris"] fill her eyes.

Death. It rushed around her, each dispatched by Alkor’s gun and the Yalilyr coming behind the raiders. Adara’s eyelids fluttered, her rumbly tumbly filling back up with every failed heartbeat.

Tamar held [member="Achani Raxis"] to her chest as firmly as she could, clinging to the child. She was the most important person in the universe right now, as Asha had Adara and Alkor held firm the charge.

“They like you fine, child, it’s a lethal situation and nobody deals with those pristinely. Be brave, I like you… and I feel if Alkor didn’t like you, he wouldn’t have saved your life.” Cuddling Achani in one arm, Tamar pulled out her pistol and began to fire at the last of the raiders left in the chasm.

“Hush now.”

She perked up abit the moment she heard the loud banging and knocking down of the door although who it was she saw come through was someone she didn't expect to see but the famous Mandalore herself, her eyes widened abit as behind her covering her smile turned into the most sadistic grin she could find as she was happy to finally meet her and have some play time with the Mandalore its a shame her little ones not around she was interested in seeing what the child would do but this is the next best thing for her. She merely prowled around the shadows of the room before she waited for her moment to strike she knows this isnt a ordinary opponent to be underestimated and this requires alot of planning and hit and run moves to handle or atleast try to handle the infamous Infernal herself.

"Ma'am, we've got a Hutt ship on scanners trying to take off."

"Ma'am?"

"Uh, sorry, alor."

Shia shook her head, the kid was new - Coruscanti who hadn't wanted to stay home, the clipped core-world accent stood out. But Kryze took everyone.

She changed comm channel to the secure channel to Ruug'la'solus'sur'haaihttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/121889-old-one-eye-besuliik/.

"Wake up, old bear. Target at 285 mark 11, ascending."

The binaric rumble that replied was the incoherent noise of a droid waking from low power mode, rising to a noise of actual interest at the target coordinates.

Half a mile away, a mound of snow shook, then broke apart into a spray of fine powder, revealing the sharp-jawed and ancient form of Shia's personal bes'uliik. It turned it's good optic heavenwards in the direction of the bulky, graceless mercenary vessel that was climbing into the sky, it's ancient tactical computer considering options. One Eye didn't so much take orders as it's rider gave it suggestions. For Shia, like many expert riders before her, it was a working partnership. One Eye was also quite, quite capable of taking independent action.

And that ship, in One Eye's considered option, looked like a tasty meal of durasteel to fill it's internal regenerative hoppers.

It's long, scorpion tail uncurled and rose above it's head, the ancient but absolutely devestating particle cannon whining as power flowed through it. One Eye never got to use this solution often enough for it's liking.

The lightning crack of the discharging cannon was like the thunder of a god, the yellow bolt reached out and hammered into the crafts shields, once, twice, then they flared and died before the third shot blew off an engine pod and the Hutt spacecraft entered a terminal dive.

One Eye grunted it's satisfaction, then set off at a lope towards the projected crash point. Perhaps some of the crew might survive to give it a good fight before it got to its meal.

“Achani tried to bite beskar? ….. dumbum.” Yasha gritted her teeth, gnashing them together for a moment to see whether they would actually bite metal…

…. nope.

“… did my daughter just say Shia will eat her?” Yasha’s eyebrow raised as her hammer raised up. “Hold on, I just met crazy.”

“Are you.. playing with Neo Crusader armour? The kriff is wrong with…. never mind, you’ll be dead before you tell me.” Yasha lunged forward, swinging her war hammer at [member="Vandra Zambrano"]’s centre mass. This person again?

This was the one who tried to ‘play’ with Cassiopeia on Colla IV… what was going on?

Well so much for the element of surprise as she saw the Mandalore stop her previous conversation and start chastising her for playing with old neo crusader gear before making a jump for her, She knew trying to block that would be suicide so she did a dash to the side to avoid the hammer or at least try to before throwing lightning at her in the hopes it'll hit. If not she readied her sword for use she didn't have a reason yet to use the blade but now would be a good time as any to test it out as her twisted smile mask or not she didn't care she was going to have fun fighting the infernal and who knows if shes lucky she might have the infernal as her new playmate instead.

It was her sheer enthusiasm and inquisitiveness that drew on Keira's maternal side, adding to an already developing soft spot for Beth that was well on its way to becoming familial already. "In comparison to Infernal, I wasn't much of a Mand'alor. Sure, I got things done, but mostly I wanted to stop the title from falling into worse hands again." She'd challenged for a reason, and had immediately changed the direction the people were heading, cutting all ties with the Sith and enforcing a somewhat nationalistic Mandalore-first policy that she was glad to see hadn't worn off when the title changed hands yet again. There were some constants she could appreciate.

"I don't think being Alor is too much of an accomplishment. Not when you look at my clan's history." Once again, a matter of securing the title before it was allowed to fall any further, and perhaps bringing her clan's name back into some kind of favorable light. She'd never considered either of those ventures to be particularly large accomplishments, but rather doing what needed to be done at the time in order to ensure a future for the people, and a brighter one at that. If you asked her, it didn't make her any kind of role model, merely an individual who wanted to see the best done and knew what she could do to further that.

Her rifle rose as soon as the grenades flew, and she let off a three-round burst towards the beast before pressing her back against the wall and calling across the comms to those present, "Is that a shabla nekghoul? Austrlais, what the hell are we dealing with here?" Again she pulled the trigger, pressing the advantage while they still had it.

It was hard to be surprised, when one entered a room and saw a dancing Sith… or perhaps Yasha should have been even more surprised in the long run?

The strange woman deeked to the side, throwing Force Lightning like it was a child’s ball. The lighting triggered Yasha’s MP1 personal Absorption Shield, shorting its’ array momentarily with the shock.

It did not slow Yasha down much. The Mand’alor used the hammer’s momentum to carry back around, swinging over her head back down toward the Sith.

“You’re not the only one, who can do that!” Yasha yelled, triggering the ARC Reactor in her war hammer.

A terrible dose of lightning burst from the hammer, aiming for Vandra.
