The Cafe's of the entertainment district regulating behind the scenes much of the underworld earnings from criminals on the planet.
- Stability: High: It is partially known... rumored that there are swift acts of violence done to those who cause problems in the Upcity. The cafe's providing secretly training and security to protect the businesses as they work to make sure the credits flow and business continues. Disruptions are dealt with quickly.
- Freedom & Oppression: Respected, the people within who live there know how to keep decorum. THe tourists are usually there for a few hours or a day at a time and so can be forgiven. The Maid cafe's keep crime down as it is known criminals are not welcomed to try and exploit the people.
- Description: The beautiful Upcity of Denon is a district removed from the others with a substantial gap.. the entertainment district is its own city within the city. Where anything can be found. From food, to intoxicants and more, filled with three story buildings that house the entertainers. Stark chrome and stone styled modules fitting with many of the reinforced areas. Beautiful lights, streets lined with stalls of food and windows brightly lit showing clothing, holofilms, dancers and even advertising zero gravity dance troups. Maid cafes where many can go to talk and eat with the experience of a few in the galaxy.
Jedi Cafe: One of a few hundreds cafe's in the entertainment district. Generally with various themes or styles but all with a handful of things in common. Maids and food service. Each one operating as a smaller gang divided up among groupings in territory of the entertainment district. Seen as a joke as the various maids cress up as famous jedi it serves to gather information and hear from traders rumors across the galaxy.
Underground meeting Area: Exclusive to the Jedi Maid cafe, a meeting location for jedi as a safety measure in case they are on the planet and not in the Denon Temple.
Concert Halls: Numerous around the district, for shows, events and in some cases sporting event that can show up. Massive holographic billboards on display showing the latest.
Lake Front: Connected to a large artificial lake created in the Upcity. It is meant to be beautiful and grand allowing small ships to travel around and even showing a small beach that it contained and wraps around part of it. The construction efforts shwing as Upcity continues to build itself as a district from the lowest levels to the skyline.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Upcity district itself of Denon was made as the first part of rebuilding efforts and at the time funding was pulled. The entertainment district is one of the central credit makers.. with buildings for art galleries, massive sports arena's and concert halls. Dozens of restaurants and hundreds of diners and cafes. Everything designed and made so that it ft in with the style of Upcity... lavish, high end and expensive. As the district isolated itself from the others it was able to build itself up better with environmental systems designed to keep the air clean... show blue skies and clean skylines. The entertainment district bringing in many of the ultra wealthy as there was always a show or event happening. From fashion shows to concerts for different bands to the rare performances of opera stars.
THe district itself slowly started to expand with Upcity... as credits rolled in the chance for crime came and it was a dangerous aspect. With corporations, Darkwire and normal gangs on the world looking to exploit the people. So controls were put in place... the gangs operated but they had rules... credits were important so tourists, visitors and those who were coming to spend credits needed to be protected... to a point. If they acted in a way that was untowards or made a fool well they frakked around and they would find out. The various gangs that formed in Upcity organizing themselves more and dividing up the territory itself. Operating businesses that would work to attract various means of getting credits. The eateries and cafes were the best for making credits as well as the hotels.
The truce between them all was important to business but below the surface there was tension.. that much credits people would always want more and eventually that tension boiled over and there were fights between different shops... businesses being able to wage a war in the streets against each other and endangering many of the tourists and workers who brought the credits. Swift action was needed and several privately owned maid cafes in the district went into the fight cleaning up through ultra violent means. Several of them considered private military who worked as enforcers for the remnants of the security forces. THey put down and forced many of the heads of the gangs to the table and established order. With the entertainment district of Upcity quelled it would go back to making credits.
The cafes grew, their influences and private military training for some of them needed to keep order. Underground fighting rings between the different maids from each gang were set up to see who would win. Credits and more at stake as buildings and territory could change hands several times a night depending on who was fighting. Whenever forces came that were outsiders and tried to force their way in they were dealt with by a coalition force of the gangs. THey had enough going on between them and didn't need another outside force who wanted to take a cut. The local and private security forces largely ignoring the entertainment district as they would allow it to self regulate its own security forces. The district itself flourishing more as it brought in credits and hosted a fashion show for some of the highest credit accounts in the galaxy.
To protect it there are areas around the district with anti infantry and anti vehicle cannons that would defend the district and Upcity... turrets for anti air as well as shielding that can be used to protect the buildings from above with the rest of the district. The better to defend it in the event of attack and the flow of credits that would benefit them and all of the clients that come from the galaxy. ONe of the most famous cafes is the Jedi Cafe... where various maids in duel costumes that of famous jedi and their outfits serve food and drinks. Doubling as a meeting place for real jedi and a point of contact when visiting the world if they are not going to the academy and temple in the district. it is invaluable for gathering information. The district while still being new has a chance to grow in purpose and reputation.
