Under the Storm(Mandalorians/Sith)

"Don't tell me you started the party without me love." These words would feel as if they were whispered into Lord Moridin's ears, however in truth the creator of such words was not yet near him. However, her reach was always growing as far as her own students and recent graduates. Kiara stood aboard a modified skimboard several meters above the city, her disciples were all in their own way entering the city Acadia. Her assassins had been ordered to attack the Capital however, using their natural stealth force talents combined with their stealth field generators they would remain unseen and the sensors wouldn't able to catch them. Her berserkers now rampaged through Acadia however, huge muscle bound men who had literally surrendered everything including their intelligence to the dark side for unmatched strength and durability. She watched impassively as one was stabbed directly in the gut but seemingly ignored it and proceeded to eat his new found victim. A smile rose to her face as she felt familiar shudders of Sith Magic ripe in Acadia. Sorcery was the hardest talent to teach because a lot of it depended on self discovery.

As such she only had a handful of sorcerers with her. Two of them conjured a massive illusion over the city of water. Suddenly, it would appear that many ships proudly showing the Sith crest had dropped out of hyperspace into the planet. They weren't finished with their training so only this particular city would see the ship though. While three sorcerers provided clean up and support for the beserkers for the more crafty Mandalorians down there. And finally behind her in triangle formation were her last two sorcerers, these were her prized disciples of course. She touched the side of a headset she currently had in her ear signaling the assassins, to reveal themselves and strike in the capital city. And with that Kiara began to lower herself within the city of Acadia, a mandalorian ran up to her almost immediately to which she smiled and flung him into a wall. Pity, she might not even have to draw her saber for this invasion; where was a jedi when you wanted a challenge or at least some big machine she grumbled. With slow but determined steps she made her way toward the armory which effectively blocked the way to the water control building. The Sith would claim this world but she'd claim this city, the money she'd gain would only allow her to set up more academies and even better training equipment.

"Feed my students, drink in the delicious nectar of darkness your bringing to this force forsaken wasteland." She said to herself laughing somewhat crazily.

Verz and the militia continued to hold the market square of Concord Dawn, against all odds. They had resupply crates brought from the armory during a lull in the fighting, so they had plenty of ammo. One of the citizen even gave Verz a rocket launcher. That combined with the fact he had killed several Sith, made this battle all the better. He saw the Sith approaching once more.Good. More things to kill. He and his men began firing again, refusing to be dislodged from the center of the city.

Concord Dawn
Capital

The first wave of explosions had been, at least in part, the work of Danni, and she allowed herself a moment of pride as the first of the buildings had collapsed. She'd been part of the early vanguard, tasked with going into the sewers and setting shaped charges. Many of those she'd accompanied had been suicide bombers. Those people were idiots. What was the point of blowing things up if you couldn't hang around long enough to enjoy the results?

Once clear of the blast zone she'd joined up with Darth Moridin, a super-keen Sith that seemed to creep out everyone around him. Tonfa-hilted, red-bladed lightsaber in hand, Danni had helped sweep through the ranks of the enemy alongside the Master. As two of her fellow apprentices fell, Danni reached into her satchel for another explosive. Somersaulting over a charging trooper who's blaster shot went wide of her, she landed deftly behind the woman (or the man in the oddly-shaped armor, it was hard to tell without removing the helmet), she slapped the boom cube onto the other's back, activating the adhesive. Grabbing the trooper from behind, Danni rolled backwards onto the street, planting her feet in the small of the trooper's back. As she rolled backwards she kicked up and out, calling on the power of the Force, which propelled the unfortunate trooper through the air and backwards into his or her fellow soldiers. As the trooper landed the bomb went off, sending body parts and pieces of ferrocrete in all directions.

"Some fun, hunh?" called Danni to Moridin and she jumped back up to her feet.

Capitol
Edard pulled his lightSaber from the throat of another journeyman deffender. As he searched for a new target, A crackly voice came on in his ear. "This is Shadow Orbiter sith command vessel. All schedule 1 apprentices assualting the capitol report to Acadia for incremental backup. " the voice rambled off latitude and longitude for the location, repeated the message twice more and announced that a shuttle would be doing a fly over of the capitol perimeter.and would depart in five minutes. as far a edard knew there was only twelve Schedule 1 apprentices, or apprentices which this was there first mission. The voice crackled in Edards ear again. "Apprentice Edard, you will go with them as ranking Apprentice and deliver them to the first knight or master you come into contact with, i know you might have special missions to wrap up here first. if so drop them and come back. Over" Edard had actually just eliminated the dignitary he had been charged to eliminate as well as his puffed up security team. activating his commlink he spoke quietly."negative sir, spec ops for the capital have been accomplished. ill be on the transport out to-" edard read the coordinates back to him,"ill take good care of the blackhearts for you sir. over" Mr Crackly came back with a quick reply " See that you keep an eye on them, Ed. Shadow Orbiter, Out.
"Blind jokes never get old," he whispered to himself with some acid in his voice. he looked up in the sky and spotted the transport making a beeline for him. After a couple acts of aerobatics and one tight squeeze between crafts, Edard got on the transport.

Acadia

The reservoir came into Edards range of senses. He could perceive only the vagueness of fear until they landed. As soon as they touched down Edard repeated the orders to the twelve Apprentices under his command. "the closest master from here is about half a kilometer east, we will go on foot-" an apprentice interrupted him snidely."why not just fly there, it would be faster?" Edard took a deep breath, turned toward the apprentice, bolstered his voice with the force to add an icy chill to it. "Becuase somone who is not a Schedule 1 Apprethentice said so. Orders came from the Shadow Orbiter, probably from a master so unless you would like me to hop on the comm and illuminate to him your distrust in his command skills..." Edard left the remark hanging and looked around. to the other apprentices he spoke "if we fly there, we will attract unwanted artillery on not just us, but the masters troops as well. Remember, keep behind me, and if i give an order?" this he spoke to the quivering pale apprentice who had spoken last. "obey unto death? Sir?" Edard allowed a soul melting evil grin to form on his jaw. "In your case, Yes. All right girls lets go."
Hopping from the transport, which took off immediately, They relied on stealth and the dark side to cloak them in shadow whenever possible. they came across few Journeyman defenders and those they did, fell quickly and without commotion. at the last corner to round Edard could sense the master, but he could also sense a squad of journyman defenders trying to sneak up on her. Ed relayed the information and gave orders for who would attack who. with a nod of his head thirteen Sith apprentices exploded out from behind cover and made very short work of the squad and formed up in ranks. Turning towards Sith Master Kiara he said quietly, "At your service my lady."

Mirta cursed, he had her, either way she was going to be hit hard, but she rather be blind for a few minutes then under concrete so she tossed her own pressure sensitive grenade at Daxton as she fled into the range of the Flash grenades. If he used the force it would just set it off, but it would also go off as it landed. She smiled until she was barraged by the light and ringing of the flash grenades, She had to live.. So she fired at the last spot she thought daxton was at most likely completely off, thanks to the disorientation of the grenades. Her suit protected her some but there was no denying the effectiveness of stun grenades. " Damn Ringing.... " She managed to get out as she continued to be at a loss of two of her senses, she had to think of something fast.

Well this was a resourceful one, Daxton thought as he saw the grenade fly in his direction. Why spoil her fun? He thought as he bent slightly forward and force pushed himself. Launching over the arc of the grenade it exploded below him, showering his cloak with shrapnel and debris. Landing on the balls of his feet with catlike grace, he watched with amusement as she blasted away where he was supposed to be standing.

Leaning close so he could say it to her ear, he said, "Did we get them captain?" The like a giant octopus, he wrapped powerful tendrils of force around her, pinning her arms to her sides and flipping her head over heels as he lifting her off the ground. "Tell me Mirta Kar, how do you breath in that tin can? Maybe you need some fresh air." With a gesture of his gauntleted fist, he began to apply pressure, squeezing the air out of her body. "Sing for me, my sweet. I want to hear you scream for me."

Mirta was helpless.. She hated the sith.. She wouldn't give him the happiness of screaming, She just grunted what she could as her air and her body seemed to be pushed inward. " Go " She managed to get out "to" she tried one last try " Hell" She managed to to get out, her vison fading as he body was deprived cruical oxygen. She tried in vain to get free from his force grip, hating him ever more. She was going to die on this world to some stupid man with an ego. She didn't think she had long, as she squirmed and almost pleaded to be let out. She was not going to give in but as her vison went darker.. she felt the end coming.

The Mandolorians continued to hold the city center against wave after wave of Sith. So far the militia had killed twenty attackers. Although they had lost twice that amount, they still had a sizable force holding the city center. Verz decided to try and raise his comrades on the comms.

"Vods, can you hear me? It's Verz. I am holding the city center of Concord Dawn. Do any of you need assistance?"

He hoped that his brothers and sisters in arms weren't dead. But his thoughts were interrupted as another group of Sith attacked the city center.

Daxton frowned as he said, "You're no fun. You don't like to play. Well if you don't play. I guess neither will I." Keeping her pinned and hanging upside down, he reaching into his pouch and retrieved a long pen, uncapping it he twirled it in his fingers before writing a message on her armor with silvery ink.

Fondest Memories and Nightmares - Daxton Bane

The pen was a molecular bond, so the ink would be permanent. It greatly amused the Sith Knight to humiliate his opponent this way. One day he hoped they would meet again on the field of battle so he could tweak her all over again.

Then he attached a pair of durasteel cuffs to her hands and feet and left her hanging from the rafters of a semi-intact building. Greatly pleased with himself, he began humming a tune as his unit continued on their mission.

Mirta had regained conscous ness only to realize she couldn't move.. and that all her blood was rushing to her head.. Great she did however think it was good her helm computer had voice commands and before she went out cold again she managed to get out " Helm activate distress beacon" She was humiluated and she hadn't even yet noticed the pen.. She hated the sith... So arrogant... She wanted to rip him to shreds but here she was hung to dry and cuffed.. she just prayed no sith decided to end her life. But that was her last thought as she went out cold again.

The control tower for automated defenses had gone silent. He wasn't sure how that had happened considering the defenses, but it was likely some Sith who'd make a ridiculously easy murder rampage of them. For some strange reason, they seemed to think Mandalorian civilians were easy to kill - or that they'd balk at being forced to kill their own.

War was war, and the Mandalorian culture revolved around it.

So, with Daxton and another Mandalorian fighting, Emberli simply waltzed into the command center like he owned the place (he did) and cut down the technicians. Making sure the defenses were still firing on the Sith, he whistles to himself and leaves. Around the city, the Journeymen Protectors - the truly skilled warriors of this planet - joined battle with everything they had.

The Sith were good, but the Mandalorians weren't flat footed any longer. Now they expected attacks anywhere and everywhere, and they were prepared to do whatever was necessary to rid themselves of the Sith. Maybe he'd get the pleasure of running into Moridin today.

"We do whut we was told ta do, put down dem dawgs." The larger Merc said as he hefted his heavy repeater and began to walk away with the rest of them towards more open land. All across the city buildings were crumbling or already destroyed, the defenders of this single city had practically been wiped out by the brilliant tactical insurgence and strategy. Now all that was left was to secure a perimeter and plant the beacon, which would be simple enough as long as no more Mandos arrived from other cities, assuming that the other plans had gone almost as smoothly. Meanwhile Kaine had mapped out the sewer systems on a grid, and was setting up a failsafe which would destroy the underground systems beneath this city, and create a sinkhole if it was ever retaken from his mercs and commandos. Kaine was something of a sore loser, if he wasn't going to have the city, no one would.

Jorn saw the other mandos leave and because he wanted to show that the person he was playing as would wnt prestege. ther for he took his bade and cut the alreayd dead mercs head off that was currently wearing his helmet. He picked up the head and put it under his arm, and followed the men untill they saw what was a sister Mandolorian. he heard her say something and then the helmet started to beep. "Sh*t shes introuble" he thought. he needed to somehow reascue her. he walked over and acted like one of them again

"Looks like em Sith are havin som fun! M'abe we cun have som fun of R own." he went over and sawed at the cuffs that held her there. he let her drop to the ground and saw that Daxton had wrote some thing on there. He looked at ehe man and smiled "Looks like un of em girly Mandos. shed sell for un perty price."

Acadia

"Fierfek!" Kyr said as he viewed the sky to see any Ships drop out of hyperspace. It didn't seem real to him, and as began to notice there were far more Sith her now than there was before. It didn't seem like command was all that worried about them up there, thus he reasoned it was some sort of trick. If it didn't seem real near a Sith chances were that it wasn't. He saw on of his brothers become smashed into a wall by a Sith. But she did not consider the fact he was still alive, and he was. Little to her knowledge he had already gotten up and began to fire with a scattergun. He commended his brother for an excellent choice of weapon. He hoped he lived long enough for Kyr to come to the rescue. He sprinted very fast as he saw what could be Apprentices of the Sith appear around their Master. He began to have doubts he could make it in time.

Regardless he took out his modified blaster rifle, held an impact grenade in hand, and prepared his Jetpack. He rocketed forward at a very quick speed, aimed to go right over their heads as he threw an unavoidable explosive at their faces, where he would turn around and begin firing at the survivors. And if he knew anything about Sith it was probably most of them. That wouldn't matter very soon though, he doubted those robes were fire proof. He was prepared today to claim another Sith in defeat; all of them.

Verz received Mirta's distress call and since the city center was well held, he decided to leave the militia captain in charge. He took an abandoned speeder and after several attempts, got it to run. He checked he had everything, and rode off to Mirta's last known location, about ten kilometers from Concord Dawn. He arrived at the settlement after half a standard hour.

He looked around, scattergun raised. He wasn't taking chances. He slowly moved to the house that was the origin of the signal. He inched inside, looking for anyone alive. He heard a soft groaning noise and saw Mirta strung up like an animal killed in a hunt. His HUD confirmed she was alive, but unconscious.

"Mirta? Can you hear me?" he asked in a gruff but concerned voice.

(For those of you in the cpaital i am now saying that the sandstorm has struck since those things move rather fast)

Moridin watched as his troops garbed themselves in Journeymen Protector armor, at the very end half of his troops wore the standardized armor, he smirked and then looked behind the group of Sith, the Sandstorm would soon be rolling in. The Dreadlord reached into his garb and placed a mask upon a face, it sealed itself in place and Moridin received a dose of fresh oxygen. He grinned beneath the mask, and then faced the apprentice who had spoken to him.

“There will be more before the day is done.” The Dreadlord said calmly as the troops around him placed helmet or masks upon their face. Slowly the city behind them became shrouded within the sands, the wind lashed at cloths, cities and everything. Moridin looked upon it, and then turned and moved through the streets. His soldiers followed, those dressed as Journeymen Protectors split off from the main group, walking into the deeper city. Each one knew what their mission was within the City, Moridin and his men would provide a distraction.

The Dreadlord signaled to one of his men, the other Sith nodded and pulled something from his back. It was a long staff, the man tossed the staff over to the Dreadlord. He caught the weapon and nodded to the man. Then he moved forward, the storm following closely behind them until finally it overwhelmed the Sith forces.

The Sith forces were immediately swallowed whole by the sandstorm, though none of them seemed to be phased by its sands. Beneath his mask the Dreadlord began to grin, his force senses reaching out and detecting all life. Ahead he sensed a defensive position, men clustered closely together huddled, the Dreadlord smirked beneath his mask, and then sent a signal to his men. Each of them tapped into the force, each of them concealed themselves hiding their presence from sight.

His soldiers rush forward beneath a cloak of the force and cover of the storm. Moridin was first to the Mandalorian lines, he reappeared just inches from the Protectors Barricade. The staff he had held earlier came alight, its tip forming a a spear. Quickly the Dreadlord sliced the barrel of a defense turret, cutting into it and ruining the weapon, then he set to work on the soldiers, and the real fighting began.

Mirta managed to wake up to a voice... " What what? That Blasted sith.... never again" She managed to get out as she waved in and out of consiousness, She hurt everywhere as if she had been held by a giant hand, She thought she saw people.. and heard more voices, but she didn't know what was real or not as her blood was concentrated in her head and she couldn't really make sense of anything, mainly glad to breathe again. This was the price it seemed, to be hung up like an animal... a mere plaything to the man...

Concord Dawn-Capital
Just awakening from the brief and restless sleep he had spent within the chaos of the city, Kal stepped from the darkened room, propping himself up on a doorway within the street. Slowly shaking his heavily armoured head, he looked across the chaos, the sky full of vermin. Full of Sith. Gunfire echoed through the dust and shouts, Kal stepping out from the crumbling residence he had briefly adopted and walking out onto the street, a DXR-6 blaster slung across his back. Holding it in his hands, he disengaged the stun function and checked the blaster for any damage that could cause potentially deadly misfires. Wiping clean the highly magnified scope, he pulled the (highly illegal) rifle to his chest, swallowing heavily as he stepped towards the conflict.

(OOC Inform me if I have any of the setting wrong, I'd never heard of Concord Dawn until now, and all my knowledge of the planet is from the wiki.)

Verz looked up at Mirta, then took off his helmet, thinking it would be best if she saw his face. He spoke calmly, as if it was all a practice mission

"I'll have you down in a moment"

He grabbed his blaster and set it to the lowest power. He then shot the chain holding her hanging from the rafter, then caught her as she fell. He laid her on the ground gently, then started looking her over for injuries. He then took his canteen off of his belt.

"Want some water?"

"Sucks. This blows. This both sucks and blows." Danni was muttering to herself beneath the rebreather she and the rest of the Sith who weren't armored wore to protect themselves from the massive storm. "The sand blows, and I suck air from a can. Blowsucker." She raised her voice and backhanded another Sith across the bicep. "Hey, I said 'blowsucker.' That's what she said, am I right?"

The other apprentice, a male Shistavanen, waved her off. "I'm here to kill Mandos and take this dustbowl," he said, raising his voice to be heard over the storm. "Not banter with frails like you."

"Suit yourself," shrugged Danni. Everyone's so damn serious! They really need to lighten up.
Ahead of her, Moradin was finishing off a gun turret. Danni Force-jumped, activating her lightsaber in the air and landing in a circle of confused soldier. Spinning in a tight circle, she sliced three along their midsections, staggering them, then drove the blade into the back of one, kicked a second, and used the tonfa handle to backhand another across the skull, knocking him out.

Three explosive charges remained; she just needed to find good homes for them.
