Under the Storm(Mandalorians/Sith)

(This invasion will have multiple locations. Each person can decide where they are. The Capital will be undergoing a sandstorm during a fighting but you may want to be in the more Farm centric places so feel free to write there as well and pretty much anywhere else on the planet.)
Concord Dawn
Capital
A figure walked through the desert followed by about a hundred others. Each one wore a thick and heavy black cloak covering their face and entire body. At their head walked one particular figure, his face except for his mouth shrouded in darkness. A smirk could be seen as he walked, taking step after step through the trails of the arid desert. He grinned to himself, or perhaps to things that were coming. It was impossible to say. As he stepped on and on the group of followers moved behind him, ever keeping in line and marching forth.

Behind them lay a massive expanse of nothingness, and before them lay a city. It was not a large city, although it was the largest upon this world. This planet was Concord Dawn, and the city before them its capital. This was a Mandalorian world of course, one closely tied to mother Mandalore. It was a dry agricultural world, not one filled with massive fortress' and armies.

The man at the head of the column knew this, and of course he knew so much more of this world. The man was of course Darth Moridin, leader of the Pillar of Strength. Behind the hundred Sith sat a massive dust storm, it raged and thrummed on threatening to engulf the Capital before it in mere minutes.

He had come to this world to take it for the Sith, he and thousands of others. However he had brought no armies, no massive tanks or ships. Here it would be the Sith versus the Journeymen protectors. Each city had a force of Sith sent to it appropriate to its size. The capital being the largest City took the largest force, one hundred Sith. A dozen Masters followed by Knights and Apprentices and of course led by Moridin. Other cities around the world received similar treatments, although in far less numbers.

As Moridin crested the hill he looked upon the capital of Concord Dawn, he grinned at it as his Sith stepped up behind them. Moridin was ready for this, today would be far more difficult than Junction. There was no troopers here, no armies to support the Sith. It would be a fight to remember, and it would be one that all would remember. “Make no move until I give the signal.”

The Dreadlord's voice passed through the ears of every Sith present, and then the line of hatred walked down the hill and towards the City. No alarms were raised at the sight of the Sith, no great calls to war. To the guards they appeared to be Nomads and nothing more. As the hundred Sith stepped to the city gates Moridin pulled back the hood on his cloak, he walked towards the Journeymen Protector nearest to him and smiled as the man spoke.

“Whats your business i-”

His words were cut off as a short knife found its way through the mans helm and into his jaw and brain. Instantly he fell to the ground and the other guards reacted. Within a few seconds they ley dead on the ground. Moridin turned and faced his Sith followers. “Kill them all.”

He said it with a smirk, today would be a glorious day.

The coordinates the sith knight had given him were for a strategic location. Half a kilometer into the city was a building, not massive but tall just shy of forty stories. This location would be a great command center for the invasion of the capitol. The tower offered a superior view of the entire city and was well fortified in that it was constructed of durasteel and permacrete. taking it from the ground would be an issue, so Edard opted for the airborne approach. these pathetic weaklings would fall soon enough, just give them an opportunity to see the might of the sith, and they will break and flee. Drawing a breath Edard suffused himself with the dark side of the force and crouched low while sith forces streamed around him. with a burst of force Edard was flung three-hundred meters into the air and began a slow freefall. After falling about fifty meters Edard landed on the top of a cargo barge lift and leaped again, this time much higher. At the pinnacle of his jump Edard reached six hundred meters and was level with the roof of the tower. From that point it was child's play to hot craft to craft and land on the roof. Edard dashed to the comunication array tower set up on the roofs spire, quickly slicing it and destroying the city's main communications capabilities.
The roof was a convex without a severe curvature, So getting in would be a trick. Edard moved to the edge and gouged a nine inch deep hole into the surface of the tower, inserted a pinion and connected a drop cable to that. Backing to the edge he leaped t off the roof using the rope and crashed through the plate glass window. "This is so primitive. Its like killing bantha." Edard looked around and saw ust a small crew staring at him, most inthe midst of other tasks. " i hope you all have eaten, becuase I just learned that they no longer serve lunch at the morgue ...." with a chuckle and a telling snap-hiss, he ignited his lightsaber and leaped into the middle of the room.

A single figure leaned over the balcony of a three-story building in a city quite awhile away from the Capital, where the real event would be taking place. Behind him was a makeshift control center filled with around a dozen or so men and woman in armor covered by heavy shawls and protective robes. In the other two floors were other soldiers as well, elite commandos of Hydra who had volunteered for this crucial misson on Concord Dawn, as well as a few mercenaries from the Sanguine Pirates. Other mercenaries existed outside of this single building, spread around in various points near the most heavily populated streets and bazaars, packs of thermal detonators strapped to their chests as they prepared for the given word to unleash hell and appease their malefic God of Darkness, Luficius. Luckily, they did not have to wait very long as the coded, wordless signal reached the control center, and they gave the word to strike. Within moments after the signal was given, the crazed zealots practically rushed into heavily populated areas and detonated their explosive packages, killing themselves and dozens of others, and wounding even more. Explosions rippled across the city, sending the civilian populace into a wild panic as the local militia tried to move to restore order to the city. That would not happen.

Even as the dust began to settle from the explosions, armed Hydra commanders and not-so suicide happy mercenaries burst from hidden safe houses and began to take down whatever resistance was found when they exposed themselves. Firefights broke out all around the city, bodies began to pile as the Commandos and Mercs shot down not only the local militia troopers, but civilians as well. There was no distinction between armed forces and unarmed citizens, it was basically a free-for-all shooting gallery to the aggressors. No doubt similar events were happening all around the planet in other cities, chaos and anarchy would be not be an aberration to be restricted and abhorred, but as a rule to which all beings must follow and obey. This is the true dream of Kaine Zambrano, who overlooked the chaos his forces were creating all across the city that was completely peaceful and tranquil not thirty minutes prior, and smiled in hellish delight as another explosion from a suicide bomber rocked the entire city block he was on.

Dry. Arid. The creature called Abaddon knew these words and their meanings. Invasion. Conquest. These were new to her. However, her brothers wanted this planet for their own. And she was happy to oblige them.

Abaddon was a beautiful creature to behold. Terrifying. And beautiful. Covering her flawless pale skin was a white bone exoskeleton that grew out of her own skeletal structure like armor. Giving her toes, fingers, and shoulders razor-sharp claws of their own. Covering her pale modesty was a black body suit of Hydra make. She wore it with disdain but her love of clothing was another, slow growing, subject. Now her white and intimidating form stood overlooking the settlement called Acadia. Though she cared not for it's name. She was here to claim the water. For on this planet, water was life.

Abaddon had penetrated the planet by way of a Smash Pod. A large device used to land troops behind enemy lines. An orbital missile of sorts. The 'smash' landing had been jarring. For her and her allies too. Standing tall and unflinching, like a tree against the mountains, she turned slowly upon her pack and spoke within the Force,

~ Brothers of my sisters. This blue current we claim for ourselves. Hunt with me. Hunt with me. Bring glory to our pack. Kill swiftly and leave no mark. Descend with me. Descend with me. Brothers of my sisters. ...Attack. Attack. ~

Abaddon gathered to all fours and charged down the ridgeline in a bestial display. They would soon touch the water and approach from beneath the massive lake.

An explosion very nearby. The Tusken immediately stirs from his mid-day slumber, and peers with his unblinking visor the mayhem that fell from the Sky. He would not let Concord Dawn fall as Junction had. Junction had been a mistake. Now he would make sure the Sith felt the same. Kyr did not feel the dryness of the air, or how arid it was. But he was of the sand, and knew it well. Water was scarce here as it was upon Tatooine, thus water was valuable; thus water was a target. This Mandalorian had a chance yet again to be proven, and so then he would show the Sith his true might against any foe. He had learned from his mistakes on Junction, and he came prepared for any Sith this day. He sprang into action, and while Journeymen followed in suite with him, he wielded his Beskar Gaderffii, the claimer of so many Cowards lives. Today would be no different.

He ran immediately towards the crater that had become of the landing zone of the Sith infantry. But from what Kyr could tell, he saw no massive beasts of destruction. No metal harbingers of death. Only Sith. Only targets. Soon he came into view with what he expected to be a Sith warrior, but instead saw a savage display in the eyes of whom most would consider a savage of savages. She leaped and bound in such a way it gave the Tusken a moment of triumph, almost giving into his primal state in the belief it was a simple animal, ready for the slaughterhouse. As far as he was concerned… it was.

The two beasts would soon collide, but who would be the better of the two? Kyr intended for that to be him, as he intercepted the "Sith's" path, Gaderffii raised high and a head whipped back as he let out a cry reminiscent of his Desert home. He returned her charge with his own.

Before she could reach the water the beastial Abaddon was intercepted. With her few Sith Allies lagging behind on their inferior legs, she drew to her opponent and embraced bloodlust. Her mind became a wave of the Dark Side and her green eyes inflamed to only white. She charged on fours. Half-woman, half-creature.

He opened with a shout of Force Scream. It would amplify any fear effects or adrenaline reaction inside her opponent for a short duration. Than she leapt and made for a tackle.

Abaddon

The thing screeched and immediately the Tusken could feel the effects, but it would seem that already the beast had made a mistake. It was under the impression that the Coward Killer could be made afraid, and this enraged him with adrenal induced hysteria. He was a weaker mind, fairly easy in the manipulation of his mood. Quickly he could feel himself grow hotter, faster, and his blood flow faster. His heart pumped to the rhythm of his legs, and the force he hefted behind him in his Gaderffii was increased. It jumped, another mistake.

He shifted his grip and hefted his weapon far up, and then came faster down with the axe head. If he could, he wanted to skin the creature latter for its incompetence. The Sith must not have known Tatooine, or it would have known not to challenge its everlasting champion. The small band of "Soldiers" he led down here engaged her forces as quickly as the two animals began to fight tooth and claw; even if a Tusken's claw was a weapon.

Jorn had heard the explosion from inside the city. He had traveled here after Junction. It was a deserted planet. Water was a rarity. He had learned to survive with out water for days on end when he was younger. Just outside of the city he was making his rounds when some people ranpast him to enter the city. the went to the populated areas and blew up. one of the blasts knocked Jorn down. dazed he got up and saw the carnage.

Body parts and blood everywhere. Instanly he knew who it was. "Sith" he said in a digust. he sent a emergency frenquency to all mados in the area that they were under atttack. "Code Red, I repeat Code Red!" He grabed his Rifle and looked around for a high spot that he could see the battel field from. looking to a nearby 3 story building he saw a famular face. One he saw at the battle of Junction. Feeling rage in himself for not killing the Sith who shot a child. Jorn stood there staring at him for a few more seconds, then saw troops pouring out of houses that they hid in. he threw two grenades at one house and shot 2 more troops comming to his right. Jorn fired at everyone of them. Taking out as many he could. Yelling a battle cry as he did so. unloading his Rifle on them he place it on his back anc grabbed his 2 swords and ran for the 3 story building.

He passed some troops coming down the stairs and cut one heads off. The next he skewerd like a stick pig. Fighting his way thought the rooms He was almost to the top, and kicked the Door open Spartan style.

Abaddon was smashed hard in the shoulder and crashed to the ground a few meters to the Soldier's left. Her bone structure was sliced clean and blood was already sighted upon the marrow. The Force deflected the more lethal effects.

In bloodlust the creature scrambled like a lightning burst back to it's feet. It's eyes flashing ever harder. She leaped again and slashed at the Soldier's legs with her left claws before stabbing inward towards her opponents helm with her right. A clean one-two. All the while she screamed like a banshee from pain, hatred, and the desire to kill.

Emberli had recently traveled to Concord Dawn having heard of the attack on Junction and knowing refugee's would be here needing help. And sure enough, he'd found plenty in need of assistance. However, with the sandstorms whipping up, he'd not expected a Sith attack.

However, once the first sounds of battle were heard, citizens of fighting age (men and women) immediately set about putting on their armor and grabbing their weapons. This was a frontier world, true, and the population wasn't massive - but it was more than enough to outnumber the Sith. And while their training wasn't first rate, even a partially trained Mandalorian was a match for all but the upper tier of opponents.

Joining streams of citizen-warriors streaming into the streets and setting up defensive positions, Emberli's HUD failed to register any Sith in the surrounding area. Pointing out some good place to set up some heavy weapons once they were pulled from the armories, he begins hurriedly moving about to organize resistance.

Across the planet, Sith would only get an easy road for the first few minutes. Mandalorians were no pushovers, despite what they thought after Junction, and the average citizen was a well-trained soldier. Not a supersoldier, but a damned good warrior. With the farmland there wasn't much in the way of defenses other than the armories and citizens. The armories themselves held heavy weapons and the like, and were heavily defended and fortified - one to a city.

"Let's kick the Sith out of here, gentlemen."

Kaine watched as the familiar Mando made his way into the building he was in, and from reports behind him he quickly came to the conclusion that the Mando had taken out a good chunk of the roughly un-professional Mercs that acted merely as cannon fodder for the Commandos. The Commandos would not be easy to take down, and each of them was worth more than at least five Imperial soldiers by themselves, honed in close-quarters combat and other skills, as well as wearing a trimmed down version of the Inquisitor Stormtrooper armor that gave them extra protection minus the shield generator. As the door was kicked in, the Commandos would already be on their feet, "Chimera" Blaster Rifles trained on the door as they unleashed a fury of blaster bolts in tight, controlled bursts to minimize jamming in their weapons, and maximize efficiency and deter against recoil. Meanwhile, Kaine would have affixed a grapple hook to the ledge of the balcony, and would be preparing to rappel off the side of the building along with his best commandos and affix remote explosives at the base of the structure. Once Kaine reached the bottom, he whirled around with his own "Chimera", and cut down a local militia man who attempted to get him when he got his feet on the ground, but Kaine's apprentice level training alerted him to the hardly subtle movement and he acted accordingly. By now the Mando may have either been cut down or managed to evade the barrage, and Kaine and his commandos moved to plant the explosives.

Abaddon

Kyramud was quick, but he can't dodge everything for the rest of his life. The beast's hits were direct and connected. He grunted as his feet were taken out from beneath him and swatted upside the head. He didn't let the animal have triumph for long as he rolled from his fall into combat position, and with one hand to the ground holding his first weapon of choice, he unleashed a few rounds of his 8-gauge slugthrower shotgun. If the beast recovered and retaliated, he would stow away the projectile weapon, and reengage with his Gaderffii. He knew now how much the Sith hated this ancient out of date weapons. They couldn't be blocked, and were too small to really see. There was no handing red, blue, or green indicator of a telltale plasma bolt. At this range it wouldn't have mattered anyway. He expected his "opponents" brains to color a beautiful shade of red upon the sand behind her. How lovely it would be to have her skin hung up on a wall.

Were these really his thoughts? Mentally the Tuskne tried to shake them off. When had he become this... thing? This was not Kyr, only cowards could seek this part of him buried deep within himself. This must have been Moridans doing. These thoughts of wonton bloodshed and angry revenge had never come to the Tusken before Junction. How could a single man’s words affect him so greatly? But then again, he followed Mandalore without question? He tried to suppress as much of this part of him as he could, as he continued his engagement with the Sith.

Jorn had saw the guns trained on him. "Oh Bloody hell." He move behind the door, and waited for some of them to reload. He threw a flash-bag grenaede followed by a shrapnel grenade. He breath 2 seconds when the firs one went off followed by a second. Thinking back to basic training he remeberd that if you could disarm our oppnent to do it. Jorn whilred around the door again and attacked the neatest Hydra Trooper. the man blocked his first attack but didnt see the second sword comming for his gut.

Jorn took the blade that was blocked and swung it towards another one slicing his head clean off. If he hadnt heard the Clicks of Mags being out into rifels he would have been shot, but lucky for him he grabed the first downed man and used him as a meat shield. blocking most of the shots. Taking another shrap grenade he rolled it towards them again. and huncherd down. Using both bodies to cover his sides. The grenade blew up and hea head a few cluncks of bodies falling. Bursting out of the little shield, he charges at the last few. He receves some shots to the shoulder and arms. Most of the hits were blocked by the Mando armor. but he was wonded in the arm. One of the troopers used the but of his gun to hit him in the visor. dazing him.

Jorn fell to the ground to play dead. The troop then trained their guns on him taking 3 deep breathe he used the last grenade he had, a flash bang and let it roll out of his hand. He crouched down at the last second to protect his eyes. The blast studne most of them. quickly he use both blades and stabed them though the nekc of one, making him gargle his last words, and the second in the arm. a third came up to hit him. Jorn used his elbow to hit him in the visor. knocking him out. seeing that he had taken care of most of them he went to the open window. The sith was on the ground. Jorn grabed one of the troopers Chimera rifles and used it as grip to slide down the wire.

The woman'esce creature heard the crack of the shotgun and used Force Speed to zip to the Soldier's left. Splashed across her face and left shoulder was the shrapnel wounds from the firearm. She screamed again. A howl of pain and agony. Revealing two sets of razor sharp teeth in her maw of a mouth.

Realizing that her opponent was no meager vagrant, she stood up to her full height and dug her spiked heels into the ground. Every foot-fall was as heavy as a man in armor and her weight swaggered like a knight in full-plate. She was heavier than the slim siren she now appeared.

Reaching out with the Force she grabbed one of her fellow Sith Warriors, already dead, and drew his body into her left arm like a steak. Now she had a bodyshield against his shotgun and new red lightsaber in her right hand. Stolen from the dead man as well. Screaming with delight she began to circle her prey. Waiting the opportunity to strike again.

Concord Dawn
Verz was helping organize the citizen soldiers into a position to defend.the main square. He was shouting orders because the wind drowned out anything but. He was brandishing his blaster to get his point across. Soon the Sith would be at the square, and the needed to hold it.
"Move it! Get into position! Leave no Sith alive!"
Verz turned around to face the only direction the Sith could approach from without vehicles. This would be a good old fashioned campaign. Man to Man. Mando to Sith. He saw the first of the Sith appear, marching toward them.
"Today we fight! Today, they die!"
He let loose a battle cry that would cause any opponent to hesitate. Combined with that of the militia, many of whom were veterans of a war or two, it would cause any army to pause.

Concord Dawn
Capital
Moridin and his swept through the beginnings of the capital. They slaughtered and killed almost endlessly for a few moments, capturing Journeymen Protectors and civilians alike by surprise. The Surprise however quickly wore off and within just ten minutes light engagements grew into heavy fighting between the two sides. The hundreds Sith stuck all together, each one blocking shots for one another with their lightsaber and only going out quickly to grab enemies. The capital as stated before was not massive, though like many other places within Mandalorian space it was easily defense able.

The Dreadlord knew this, and he led the way through the city streets. Each Sith fought well, and each one kept himself alive. The citizens of Concord Dawn were not warriors, but they stood miles above those of Junction. Still the Sith fought on and before the gate. An assault vehicle rolled up before the group of Sith. It fired twice and its massive bolts struck the Sith lines. Two apprentices tumbled to the ground, instantly dead.

The Sith lord scowled, and then bounded forward out of the ranks of his Sith. He extended his lightwhip, wrapping the weapon around the assault vehicles blaster cannon. The hot plasma melted into the durasteel, though didn't slice through it. Moridin made the line taught, and then using the force propelled himself forward. He landed on the tank and began to slice it to bits with his Lightsaber, cutting into the troopers inside and slicing the vehicle itself into bits.

The repulsor-lift below it failed and the vehicle came crashing down. The Dreadlord smiled as the Sith rushed past him and further into the city. Things would be getting harder now, the Journeymen Protectors would have time to set up defenses now. He scowled and motioned to his second in command. The man nodded, and an order spread throughout the Sith.

Several of his men began to strip troopers of their armor, as they did so others covered and concealed them. The Dreadlord watched and then looked up at the cities center...Things would be getting tough.

Kaine detonated the explosives as the Mando used his grapple to escape the top floor as the building lost its foundation and began to crumble down on them. Kaine and the four other Hydra Commandos rushed away from the building, utilizing the sudden destruction of the building and the chaos that followed it to escape into an alleyway. Kaine had no intention of staying in that spot for long, he had other fish to fry, but he knew he had to take out that Mando soon or he'd be a massive thorn in his side. Up ahead was a group of Sanguine Mercs preparing for another sweep of the area for any survivors, but quit their search when they saw Kaine and his entourage, and ran up to join him. "One of the Mandalorians is following us, I want him destroyed. Use whatever you have to, the God of Darkness will smile on your sacrifice." The Sanguine Mercs roared a bloody tribute to their God as they moved down the alleyway to prepare for an ambush, covering every way the Mando could come from the destroyed building, and setting up motion sensor explosives at nearly every corner, and two automated sentry turrets at the two alleyways leading in this direction, setting them up so that they'd have a rather wide range of fire at anything that came that way. Kaine then slide on a helmet that was identical to his Hydra Commandos, and commanded them to split off in different directions across the city, while Kaine himself pried open a sewer grate and leaped in, having one of the Commandos close it behind him.

Abaddon

This beast was truly great, despite what it had at first appeared to the Mandalorian. He managed to collect her yet another wound, but they seemed more bothersome to her than truly painful. At least he knew how to gauge at this point the skill level of his opponent. Most likely an Apprentice, he had fought a Knight before, and Bane was far stronger than this. It stood to be very tall and stole a body to null his scattergun, thus the sensible thing to do was to stow it, and engaged blade to blade. He returned his second weapon back to its rightful place by his side, and went to cleave the body out of the beast’s foul grip. If his strike was strong enough he reckoned, the spear point could pierce straight through the body, but he didn't want to risk it being caught and used against him.

His strike was only enough to do what he wanted, and he prepared for retaliation with the crimson blade in her stark white hand. Today he hoped to collect the Sith's pelt. Again the thoughts return, and again he attempt to suppress them. Today was not a good day to be split in two, both metaphorically and in reality. So then he made sure he could still pay attention to the here and now. He gritted his teeth as his feet shifted without pause or effort in the sand most welcoming. They were in his lands, his element; no Sith could take this bastion of water today even if they sent their best. He was overly confident in that.

Abaddon let the soldier cleave the body with ease and skill. It's purpose was as a meat shield, and a meat shield it would be. The body shattered in places as she jumped again to the left and came down heavily upon the ground. Another skillful strike would destroy her 'shields' effectiveness. That was obvious to both sides.

She dug a foot into the ground and up-heaved a tremendous amount of dirt into the soldier's circle. Then she arced her red blade through the flying storm to cut the man in two.

The building exploded behind him as he was falling down. he rolled to lessen the impack. Another basic training tactic. He saw Kaine running away from hism and was angered but him running. he heard some war cried form around the corner. Using the Rifle as his own he stalked around the corner. using a tactic called cutting the pie. he wuld see a samll section of the place ahead of him and would move alittle more to reveal another "section" of the Pie. about half way he saw more troops but they could clearly see him and they werent doing annything. they were watching him. "Its a trap!" he thought to himself, using his ifared he serched the corners of the buildings and saw small heat signatures where someone would be walking.

the were most likely bombs with heat or motion censors. He rase the rifel and fires small bursts to attract the troops and ran back wards. He was luering them into theri own trap to walk over the bombs they set themselfs. he waited until he could hear blast after blast.
