SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Mass Producible: Less pure and heavier version of the original Artificial Ultrachrome that while is more easily produced since it does not require the particle accelerator to be created and can instead be created in a molecular furnace. This material retains the same qualities that the original had in physical properties such as its resistance to heat as well as energy in addition to its nature as a superconductor with the ability to diffuse energy evenly across its surface
  • Effective Hybridization: The Material can be suffused in part with a 5 - 85% while still retaining many of its properties as a superconductor allowing it to instantaniously share its energy payload across its entire mass allowing this material to be very alloy friendly. The sheer potential of allowing this substance to alloy with other materials such as Pyronium, Bes'kar and more while still retaining many of its properties make the potential benefits of Ultrachrome B endless.

STRENGTHS
  • Highly Energy Resilient: This material is made to be able to better conduct, absorb and diffuse energy be it electrical, thermal or radiation along its entire surface making it a fantastic option for energy shielding on ships vehicles and armours.
  • Conductive Versatility: Be it used for a battery, a hyperspace matrix, armour or a weapon this material is excellent at what it does. With higher values of its alternate material it’s able to conduct massive sums of energy far more efficiently than standard pyronium hyperdrives or other systems due to the Ultrachromes’ ability to share energy with very little resistance across its mass in an almost uncannily energy efficient nature. Making the possible applications of this material almost limitless.
WEAKNESSES
  • Thermally Brittle: While this material is holding a high charge and is in the process of its diffusion it becomes easily warped and damaged by kinetic impacts, able to even shatter much like ceramic.
  • Not as Shiny: Its an unfortunate side effect of the addition of additional materials, the Ultrachrome made this way has a distinct darker pattern welded weave to its polished surface which enables it to be immediately identified visually and lacks the true luster of natural Ultrachrome.
DESCRIPTION
Freebirds Industries in conjunction with the House Aquila Quartermasters’ guild collaborated on a joint project, the aim was to create a replica Ultrachrome which could be mass produced but still retained its abilities as a superconductor for the purpose of Armour, Weapons, Shielding, Batteries and high rating Hyperdrive Engines.

Over the course of discovery the combined scientists in a joint contract made breakthroughs on the nature of the superconductor, engineering over the better part of a year the methods that it would require with the Molecular Furnace to produce and bind the two synthetically made materials together into a spectrum much like Titanium Alloy that was versatile based on the sum of the materials included and the method it was created.

They succeeded. After its creation, House Aquila intended to refuse to sign the patent of its creation, allowing Freebirds industries full creative control over the material, knowing full well their forges were far better outfitted for its production. However, after the unexpected fall of Freebirds industries, House Aquila purchased several forges from the failing business in order to create their own within their Quartermasters Guild Building.
