STRENGTHS
  • Why Won't You Die: The vast defenses and armor of the vessel make it absurdly difficult to destroy using solely conventional methods, with vast stores of Nanites and legions of repair droids as well as it's own hull enable it to repair from even the worst damage over the course of 21 days so long as sufficient raw materials exist to use (Note, can only do this level of repair if it has enough raw materials stored, and restores and focuses on vital systems rather than weapons to fix first. Its often simpler just to go to drydock, as this self repair feature is only for extreme emergencies). It's main Battle cruiser shields recharge at twice the speed due to high efficiency capacitors collecting heat waste from everything and everyone aboard the vessel to funnel it back to the shields, and can take obscene levels of punishment in general from large fleets of other capital ships. Aiding this is the way the weapons are arranged around its hull in such a way that there are very few angles that are not covered by weapons, making assaulting it via starfighters an extremely dangerous prospect.
  • Guns of The Patriots: Possesses insanely lethal weapons that can be swapped out for weapons just as lethal of the Owner's choice, making it an extraordinarily modular Battle Cruiser, which is aided by the fact its unique design makes it a sort of Tower in Space, allowing it to focus the firepower of its weapons in a way other ships designs cannot but the default ones are as follows. (NOTE: NOT ALL LISTED WEAPONS CAN BE EQUIPPED AT ONCE)
Continuous Proton Beam Cannon: Extreme Damage Proton Beam, capable of killing a Star Destroyer in one to two direct hits, and capable of causing severe damage to other Battle Cruisers in two to three hits. Capable of posing a significant risk to SSD Armor and Shields after 3 to four hits.

Seismic Energy Torpedo System: Highly Destructive Energy Torpedos capable of doing catastrophic damage to hulls

  • I shall Hack Thee: Possesses Powerful Slicing Equipment that allows you to be an extremely dangerous threat to even the most modern ECM defenses, potentially overwhelming even SSD grade ECM defenses, allowing it to do terrible things to computer systems, cause massive overloads, or even possibly shut down their shields or weapons for a short time, due to quantum level slicing programs and constantly self adapting algorithms.
  • Self Reliant: Possesses Multiple Molecular Furnace Facilities, allowing it to manufacture both weapons, armor, and spare parts with the correct Raw materials and possesses a HAPU Plant for essentially unlimited energy, and its distributed, non networked computer design, with an ST Droid Brain in control of each vital system to avoid compromising the rest in case one system is compromised. Also has enough room to house thousands of troops for ship defense, and even without that has what would be a skeleton crew on almost any other vessel this size
  • Fear Me: It's unsettling, Organic appearance can put fear in even the most stalwart enemy crew, even if that crew is on an SSD. The damn thing just looks that terrifying, and the genuinely terrifying threat it poses from its weapons to its ability to attack even the computer systems of SSD sized vessels with very high chances of success only justifies its terrifying appearance.
  • Big Fish: VASTLY faster than most Battle Cruisers of this size, and a 0.5 Path Engine lets it go almost anywhere, with a back up Hell Drive (USE AT YOUR OWN RISK) to boot
WEAKNESSES

  • Fire Rate Issues: It's Energy Torpedo and Orbital Auto Cannons both have significant recharge times before they can fire again, often in the seven minute range
  • Seismic: Siesmic Charges can do significant damage to the hull and it's Electronics
  • Focal point: it's conformal Shielding system is more vulnerable constant bombardment on a single spot
  • Particle beam: Particle beam weapons can chew through the shields
  • Ballistics: Electromagnetic Rail Gun Weaponry can punch through the hull better than most projectiles.
  • Stealth Limits: Can only remain cloaked for several hours before the stealth systems require 42 hours to cool down.
  • Shield Limits: The Energy Shield it can generate over a world can only protect against energy and kinetic assaults, dispersed across it, not both at once concentrated on a single spot. And Ion blasts whittle the shield down considerably faster than other forms of attack and may cause a heavy overload in the projector aboard the Leviathan. Also, If the Planetary shield Generator is active, all weapons save its continuous beam cannon, Electric Turbolasers, and point defense cannons are disabled.
  • Big Target: Its unusual size, while allowing it to focus its fire, renders it easy to hit by the same measure.
  • Turn rate: Poor Turns, but then again, no one expects battle cruisers to be agile
  • Computer dependant: If its droid brains are disabled, the ships vital systems can still be managed from simple controls in engineering but its speed and ability to respond to threats is vastly reduced, and repairs take longer.
  • Utility: A pure Space Warship, meant to engage other capital Ships, and has no fighter squadons of its own, limited to support squadrons to load supplies, disembark troops (Cannot field an invasion force)
  • Hacking limits: Though its capable of hacking ships vastly larger than itself, with a very high chance of success, the larger the ship, the more strain on the various processors required, causing a lag in its targeting parameters and target acquisition in other areas
DESCRIPTION

The Tython Class Leviathans are the latest in Scion Mobile Shipyards Battle Cruiser designs. Based off the same Alien Design as the Leviathan of Sev Tok, The Battle Cruiser's vast, exotic weaponry and stealth systems, are meant to make even one a potentially deadly threat to SSD sized vessels. Modern, Efficient Manufacturing techniques allow it to be developed at only a quarter the cost of other vessels it's size.

The names of the first three were to deliberately insult the Brotherhood, Stagnation, Suffering, and Damnation a counterpoint to War, Death, and Rebirth , and House Io never ceases to mock Maw and Final Dawn Captives over their failure to destroy Tython before subjecting them to vicious torture and execution, carried out by Brain Demon Cultists. One was gifted to the Eternal Empire, colored red, and programmed to serve only them.

I am a firm believer in giving things a chance, but please be careful with how you use this.

Portable planetary shields and "capable of killing a Star Destroyer in one to two direct hits", among other things, are both ripe report material if not used carefully and in cooperation with writing partners.
