STRENGTHS
All in one: This top line medical pod combines Multiple technologies, for treating burns, relieving pain, healing and diagnosing injuries, and curing most forms of even military grade poison and bio weapons, equally capable as a Bacta tank or long term stasis unit
Compact: Technology barrowed from field Bacta Tanks ensures it never takes up to much room in the med bay, especially when rows of them may need to be present.
Emergency Life Support: If power on the ship fails an emergency power plant installed on it can keep the patient inside alive for up to two years using only the Stasis function
Tank: It's armored, with it's own Ion shielding. It can even resist armor piercing slugs, blasters and a fragmentation grenade. It's armoring and shielding only goes up in the event of enemy boarding.
Efficient: Streamlined manufacturing makes this easy to operate and easily repaired to Bacta tank functions at the very least with minimal materials.

Stationary: Power Requirements mean it must be hooked to ship power sources normally
Constant Recalibration necessary: It cannot switch it's treatment functions on its own. Those must be handled by a physician monitoring the patient
