The outer sections of the camp were reasonable orderly. Roughly one hundred thousand military personnel who kept that expanse formed of reasonably orderly lines of tents. It was the centre of the camp that was most difficult to access. A number of Alliance ships, from destroyers to cargo transports, had been landed there. They were the ships that upon leaving hyperspace had to be grounded. Citizens displaced by the war had amassed there, using the metal hulks as shelter. In the night there was blaster fire as guards tried to keep thieves away. But most of the military in the camp were not soldiers, by unarmed naval personnel.

The atmosphere was tense. Despite there being talk circulating of a ceasefire many were frightened that the First Order would move here before they could retreat further into Alliance space. A light cruiser hung low in the sky, transports constantly surrounding it as supplies were shipped down to the ground level.

Jacen had come here with a team from the Jedi Order. Healers for the most part, including [member="Kana Truden"]. As he had done before, he watched over them and ensured they were free to carry out their duties.

In the late evening he turned his gaze skyward as a crash reverberated through the camp. His eyes were drawn to a burst of flame from the cruiser's engines. He saw small objects moving past it rapidly. To his surprise he did not follow the recognisably silhouette of TIE fighters, but misshapen Yuuzhan Vong Coralskippers. A ripple of panic went through the immediate surroundings.

A large Yuuzhan Vong raiding party was descending on the camp, looking to take advantage of the confusion and deal the Alliance and their Jedi - an old enemy - a disastrous blow. Captured slaves would be turned into experiments or mindless thralls and turned back on the citizens of the Alliance.

The Alliance fleet is mostly occupied. Whatever can be done to slow the Yuuzhan Vong must be done and the evacuation begun in haste.

“Bacta to the man over there, simple bandages to the family of four… Blankets and comfort to those in the tent.” Kana shook her head to curse it all. This was going too well, something didn’t feel right. She had been here for the better part of a day to help oversee part of an Alliance operation for the first time in what seemed to her like a very long time. Life was still up and down on an unstable basis but as far as moods went it had been high for the better part of it. Having let go of the past would seem to have worked wonders, and while such a thing is hard to simply go out there and do, Kana had done her best to let everything just slide off of her. The Republic, the old Jedi Order and life’s woes in general. It had certainly left a mark on Kana’s continued recovery, and for each day she could feel her own worry for a relapse fade away.

She would never truly let the fight go, or ever really be able to, but with all that was going on she felt surprisingly well. The camp around her was a hell hole, she wouldn’t have been here otherwise, but she was still able to keep her attitude up and to her that was all that mattered. The men and women helping with the efforts looked to her now and she in turn to them. And much like she was about to say, thing had been going way too smooth. Eyes set for the skies. Smiles faded for frowns as widespread panic began to bubble up around the camp in an instant.

Great.

“Hans,” Kana pointed decisively at a nearby soldier. “You are in charge now. Pack the supplies and get the people to shelter. Keep them safe.”

Eyes shot out across the worrying crowds.

“I need to find Master Voidstalker.” She bit her lip through her frown while trying to consider her next move. “Wherever he is.”

Jacen wouldn't be that hard to spot. Within moments of the explosion he had scrabbled up the side of a freighter and moved as high as he could. There was a comm-link on his belt and he unclipped it as he surveyed the horizon in each direction. A coralskipper flew low in their direction. There were screams as terrified refugees hit the ground. Jacen stayed standing. It would fire it's organic magma cannons in his direction or it wouldn't.

It passed low overhead and an instant later he felt a wash if heat. The ground just thirty metres to his left had become a blaze. As he turned to follow it he could sight of something even more disturbing. Shapes just visible on the horizon and clouds reflecting bright flashes.

"Marshall Voidstalker?" Came the voice of Captain Drestenn, a Mon Cal naval officer.

"I'm here, what's happening?"

"They came out if hyperspace right on top of us. There are ground troops to the west and we're deploying the 5th Marines to the forests outside the settlement to try and buy us more time."

"The fleet?" Jacen asked. He heard the screech of an A-Wing but couldn't spot it.

"Too far. We've called for anything the local systems to provide. We need to get the refugees away from that landing force."

"Understood. Keep me updated. I'll do what I can." Jacen kept his gaze to the west.

Once again, Cathul was called up on medvac duty, as she had been in the Atrisia and Skor campaigns. Sure, she was beginning to get tired and demoralized after this disastrous defeat in the Ison Corridor, but then again, High Command had no idea why sending in so few escorts to contain the First Order was a good idea there. No more than she could tell why Sieb Tevv decided to just go casually deploy the Itsukusk on Anoat rather than in the Corridor. Or even a Progenitor or another Procurator-X. [member="Decker Willo"] followed her in tow, providing much-needed escorts. Carmen and Tanith seem to be taking up the mantles of running the battlefleet portion of Therapy Command, for the time being, even though, in her mind, the main culprit for the problems in the Corridor was directly above Cathul in the chain of command. At this point, however, she had to muster what crude medvac units she could. Mostly medium transports. As for the other ship being used for medvac: it was much larger than the medium transports she came in tow and she reluctantly used it because it reminded her from the painful memories from the Corridor. It would be capable of evacuating 1,200 refugees in one go, that was not much, but that was better than nothing. Upon reversion to realspace over Velga, she opened a channel to [member="Jacen Voidstalker"], with whom she fought on Asmeru, while not expecting [member="Kana Truden"] to contact her.

"Open a channel to Marshal Voidstalker"

"Channel open" the communications officer acknowledged.

"Marshal Voidstalker, this is Admiral Thuku from Therapy Command: medvac is on its way. Just transmit coordinates and we'll pick up any refugees, patients we can" she told Jacen over the command channel.

Decker Willo led Mynock Squadron in tow behind [member="Cathul Thuku"] in their T-70 X-Wings, providing escort to the transports. The op seemed simple. Escort the transports, protect them while they evacuate, then they get out. But, this was Mynock's first mission. They had trained almost all their lives for this. And they believed themselves to be ready. "Mynock 7 to 12, cover the right flank. Myself and Mynock's 2 to 6 hold left flank. [member="Lisa"], you're in charge of the right flank." Decker kept his fighter along the left, toward the front. "Cathul, we'll guide you in, try and draw fire from any contacts we come across. How long do you believe this evacuation will take?" Decker was ready for combat, their very first mission. And perhaps, too confident in this.

The vong were like brutes of ancient times. They acted on instinct, with tactics decided at the higher level. Most militaries switched to a decentralized command structure to reduce friction on the battlefield. While the Vong did not. Which is what Kaiden was going to exploit. He didn't know the rank structure by heart, but he knew what to look for. Which is why, Kaiden was hanging upside down, onto a rusty metal rafter with a Vong party running below him. He held the knife in his hand as the Vong NCO (he only assumed his role) ran below him, followed by his minions. Kaiden didn't let him get more than a hair in front of him before his gloved hand wrapped across the Vong's face. It did nothing more to piss him off. And as the Vong reached up to pull Kaiden down, Kaiden inserted knife into neck.

Weak at the neck, and under the arms. Armor be damned. The vibroblade found purchase and went deep with a hard shove from Kaiden. It was sharp enough to go through his skin like butter. He'd been sent here as security. The move was smart. Kaiden was a hyper-lethal vector. So were the Vong. They should balance each other out long enough to make a change, or at least, get backup. The other two lesser Vong were dispatched by four well-placed shots from a disruptor pistol. Kaiden fought dirty. The pistols breached their armor and sent them flying. He hopped off of the rafter, and inserted knife behind ear to double-check death.

Inspect what you expect.

He held a hand up to his throat, activating his GA-wide signal. It went live on every feed that was listening.

"Havoc Actual, on station. Awaiting command."

Didn’t take a genius to know what they were about to experience the second those ships reached the camp. Kana was no stranger to the Yuuzhan Vong and she had the scars to show for it. A lifetime in the Republic, an equally long lifetime fighting them along with the One Sith had left more than just a bitter taste for them. It wasn’t in Kana’s place to say, but she knew where her prejudice laid with them, and little would seem to help push them out of the pit that had taken shape over the years. She housed a deep disdain for them, there was no way she could deny that and it would be foolish of her to try.

There, across the grounds she caught sight of the man who had brought her back to her friends again. Marshall Voidstalker, a man she met every now and then during his visits to Sulon. Though the interactions were short, she had probably been there somewhere in the background avoiding the children at all costs, smelly as they were.

A vong vessel swept for the camps, people sought cover, but not the Marshall. He had remained standing tall and he had remained unscathed. By the time that the vessel had passed people would slowly start to get back up again to continue with the panic.

In truth Kana felt lost, there was only so much she could do anymore.

“Jacen!” She called out as she jogged closer. “Jacen.”

“What’s going on? Why are there Vong attacking the camps?”

" roger [member="Decker Willo"]. 765 and 4 you are with me. i hate these fighters too flimsy. " the droid chatted as she lead her small squad.
her huge optic and droid brain running a massive amount of data.
" All ships note coral skippers are susceptible to surprise volley's of three. they will deflect the first hit then tale a third hit from a rear blast similar to a sting from a tatootine rock skipper. suggestion is torpedo use main guns as a distraction. "
she suggested.
" Purple leader to red leader. remind me to upgrade this hunk of junk when we get back." she teased laying supressing fire.

Ever since Adele had led him to Kana he had felt a measure of responsibility for her. She'd been to hell and had made it most of the way back again. Kana had trust issues and needed something stable. Sulon was a good place for her. He hadn't been given the chance yet to ask if Hal Terrano showing up at Sullust had brought her any measure of peace. Jacen's attention hadn't been diverted by the bombing run, but he turned quickly at the sound of her voice.

"Why... How... I don't know. They don't usually hit soft targets like refugees to my knowledge. One moment.

"Admiral Thukku. You can get a rough fix on my comm but the camp is large. Get in touch with Captain Drestenn. We need a safe perimeter to the East to use as the evacuation zone and any forces we can spare to the forests to the west to delay their main force. This evacuation could take hours to days. Any air cover welcome. Voidstalker out."

"Kana we need to get people moving east." He shook his head in exasperation. "They should have pulled these camps down. So many abandoned ships and contains. Bottlenecks. If it becomes a mass charge people are going to get trampled!"

With Kaiden, on the Line

She'd forgone the normal route of the Jedi. Now she was all Iron, blood and fury. And that manifested itself here and now. As Kaiden dropped from the trees and startled and killed his mark, she dropped as well.

Jet black boots found purchase, crunching leaves and sticks alike. As she landed her blazing blue lightsaber crackled to life with a *THRUM* and then a nasty buzzing. she was still sore from the last duel, but now invigorated.

"Hold them back!" She heard some of the Marines cry.

She was already on it. As blaster bolts rang out and ripped from their hastily dug in trenches she bounded forwards, leading a small detachment of Commandos behind her. They opened fire as they met the cluster of the Vong Scouting party. Her saber crackled and blazed.

Her lips curled back in a grin, revealing clenched teeth.

This is wrong. A Jedi should not enoy killing.....
Feth it..... do it!

And she did. Her first strike clove up the front of a warrior, splitting his armor and sending him crashing to the ground. She moved past, slicing an amphistaff in half with a wrist flick and then flourished, reversing her grip to slice him in half.

This transitioned back to a normal grip, her blade extended forwards and she flourished down, sending a precise cleave into the skull of the next.

The warriors viewed her a challenge and bumbled forth from the tree line, some firing their thud bugs.

Two grazed her leg, sending a searing pain down it. She tripped and regained herself.

Stay calm. Stay centred. This is necessity.

Her off hand extended, calling a staff to her hand with a meaty smack. Two thud bugs went back, cracking the chest of the Vong and splattering his guts. Things were getting dicey, they were getting surrounded and too far from their main line.

"Watch the flank!" One of the Commandos shouted, transitioning to his pistol.

"Got it."

The staff fell to the ground and she crouched, settling into a breathing exercise to draw the force into her as the tide advanced....

The kid was a natural. A natural born killer. Good for people like him. Bad for Jedi. Turned 'em bad. Jedi were touchy. They had have a lot more control- a lot more of the meditation, a lot more of the lovey-dovey feely stuff. His Commandos peeled off, banana peeling to form a line. The Vong weren't exactly tactically ingenius. They were predictable, just hard to beat. Not a lot of ground tactics. Especially since Kaiden had effectively made them running blind.

He moved the machine gunners at either side of the flank- creating a deadly 'X' pattern. The intersecting fires of the machine gun teams was going to be chaos in a moment. Civilians poured through their lines, behind the safety of the Marines and Commandos. Kaiden slipped on his helmet. The Havoc squad emblem in the corner flickered to life. He hadn't worn it since Coruscant. But these people needed a figure of hope. Something they could turn to. And Kaiden Rohn, adorned in his orange and white- was a symbol. Of a better time. Of strength. Of hope.

Of the Republic.

Kaiden turned his attention from the past to the present. He sent a fireteam to help the Jedi back to the main defensive line. Machine gun teams opened up. Vong began to fall down, thud bugs splattering around Kaiden. He returned fire with the pistol. Needed a larger rifle. More firepower. He'd get it, later. His weapon right now was the Marines and the Commandos.

"All stations, direct wayward civilians behind the defense line! I'm gonna need a gun run here soon!"

Air support was wonderful. It'd be dicey in this situation. But if he wanted to get these people out of here, they were going to need more firepower. Otherwise they'd all be dead in a matter of minutes. Either directed close air support, or- a lot more Jedi. Even Vong were scared of Jedi.

"Pause-rep!"

He sent a blip using his communicator to broadcast the line's grid location. He marked it as 'DEFENSE LINE'. Friendly units could now see where the actual line was on a grid map, if they used it.

"I need close air support one hundred meters north of this position in three minutes!"

He held up a hand. Three minutes until hopefully, bombs came down. That gave the aircraft enough time to get into position, along with- any civilians or friendlies to get into position.

[member="Jade Whisperwind"] [member="Cathul Thuku"]

"We will have to make multiple runs: the capacity of what we have is insufficient to take every refugee in one go. Landing site Five-Cresh-Oh-Seven is at the east of the camp; the Vong may attempt to intercept us before we arrive" Cathul told [member="Decker Willo"] while Mynock Squadron is making its atmospherical entry. "The enemy may be using shipwrecks as cover, keep your eyes open, but also pay attention to the defense line" she also told Mynock Squadron after heeding [member="Kaiden Rohn"]'s last hail.

Also, with [member="Lisa"] on Cathul's right flank, they realize that the enemy can use these wrecked ships as cover. For some reason, the coralskippers were waiting until the convoy was almost on the ground to get out of whatever cover they have. While of course coralskippers could more easily get ammunition and fuel in atmosphere compared to space, they were pretty easy to distract in atmosphere, and Lisa knew it. As for Cathul herself, she could not be on the bridge any longer, she had to man the heavy freighter's sickbay, as per the mission parameters. Once the convoy lands on the dangerous landing zone, after the final moments of the descent marking the beginning of the hard part: ensuring the safety of the evacuees as they start to board the convoy of ships, in a state of panic, with the civilians entering the ships as soon as the access doors open. With no coordination whatsoever: the civilians began to rush forth as soon as the convoy touched down.

"There's no time to waste: get the civilians onboard as fast as we can! The smaller ships are reserved for those who need medical assistance"

Which means that those needing medical assistance were prioritized and herded into the lower decks of the six AT-AT barges, but the panicked refugees made any semblance of order pretty difficult to maintain. If they are not careful, they may just be making the situation worse for those people who need the medical assistance.

Decker Willo gave a nod, though Cathul would not have seen through the intercom. "Copy that, [member="Cathul Thuku"]. We will be on watch." He switched comms over to the squadron, ready to give them a quick briefing. "Watch the wreckage. Anything that doesn't look Alliance, take them." Decker had never seen Coralskippers, so he did not know what to expect. he had heard stories, but that was as much as he knew of the Vong. Just stories. Though apparently, Lisa knew enough. "If you think you need it" Decker said before addressing the whole of the squadron once more. "Mynock 2, Mynock 7, ease back to cover the rear. Mynock 8, Mynock 3, Stick with the transports as they go groundside. The rest of you, stay with the convoy up here. Engage targets when they-"

The coralskippers emerged once the transports were almost to the ground. "Mynock Squadron, engage! Remember what [member="Lisa"] said, three volleys! Make all shots count!" Decker engaged his X-Wings S-Foils into attack position, then locked onto the nearest coralskipper he could. He gave chase, not straying too far from the convoy and only aiming to chase it off, doing what damage he could. They needed to stick right by the convoy, straying too far could end up fatal to any of the transports.

" roger [member="Decker Willo"] note two strikes will be wasted the third rear shot will be the one to hit when we pass. Vong sheilsa onlt face one way at a time. the first two will be a distraction." she said as she passed one of the small rock ships. sadly the x wings had no rear facing cannon.she fired 2 shots hitting the tear shields then flung the fighter in a physics grinding arch that would have killed an organic firing a single shot is the Coral-skippers front destroying it.
" note i would not recommend that maneuver. " she admitted.

While Hal’s return had brought Kana a small measure of peace it was still an uphill struggle against the weight of her own shame. In the end it was hard to not fall back to the old habit of constantly letting herself down on purpose and selling herself short, but ever since she had decided to let go of the past, of Raaf and the others, things had started to look up as if suddenly a weight had been dropped off her shoulders. She had dropped her baggage and looked for a new case, so to speak and it had been more rewarding than she would have ever believed.

Her head nodded as Jacen told her to hold on. Orders were relayed. Did it matter much to Kana that they were being attacked by the Vong? Did it surprise her? Somehow it didn’t, mindless brutes as they were. The ground crew, according to Jacen had to push east with accompanying air cover.

Great, this didn’t remind her of the days spent bloodying her nose for a cause that was doomed to fail at all. This was perfectly fine.

No, wait. Kana shook her head to throw the bitterness aside. Stress still brought out the anger and frustration that she had felt prior to being taken back into the Order again, which wasn't to mention the fact that it was unbecoming of her. She knew her weakness and she knew what she had to do. Head nodded at Jacen’s order to move east. Hans looked her way awaiting orders and Kana would draw a big circle to symbolize the whole camp before waving her hand twice towards the east.

He nodded back and Kana turned back to Jacen.

“I am not much of a military leader, but I hope he got what that means.” She looked around. “This will become a nightmare within the half hour. Lives will be lost today.”

“We’ll focus on those that we can save and try to aid those that we cannot without compromising the safety of the many.” She bit her lip and furrowed her brows in disappointment. “I’d like to say we’ll rescue everyone, but I’d much rather we keep it realistic.”

“People are going to die today.”

The furious gunfight had turned into all-out example of a defense being on the verge of overrun. There were more Vong than even the Commandos and Marines could handle. The volume of fire kept the Vong at bay, and for the moment- the civilians behind their line relatively safe. Kaiden had managed to procure a rifle from a fallen Marine. The bandolier had to be adjusted to Kaiden's smaller frame. Marines were big, hearty fellows- a stark contrast to the prize-fighter physique Kaiden boasted.

He picked it off of him when a Vong got a lucky shot. It still had pieces of the man's flesh burnt into it.

Kaiden shouldered the rifle and took aim at a Vong warrior. They were amassing for a large charge. They were going to break their lines. Kaiden grit his teeth as the Commandos dug in. agrew eerily still. He ordered his men to reload in the lull. The Machine Gunners reported in they only had enough ammo to last them the hour, if that. The rifleman, probably less. The Vong- he could hear their guttaral language. He took off his helmet, and laid it at his feet. Always did better using his own vision. Gave the people a bit more to look at too. Plus, if he was going to die, he didn't want to die in a sweaty helmet.

He pulled the rifle close, waiting for the inevitable charge. He could hear them. He hoped the force would pity him and make sure only he died here. The people behind him were too scared to die like this. The Vong were evil. The force didn't need them. So he hoped that it would send in the X-wings as it's righteous hand, or a dropship full of Jedi. One was probable- the other, well- that was a pipe dream. He grit his teeth, and took a knee behind a burnt-out landspeeder. The Vong were coming soon. He needed a miracle to make sure both he and the people he was supposed to protect made it out alive.

He touched his throat mic.

"Havoc Actual. Awaiting Vong attack. Need reinforcements."

[member="Kaiden Rohn"] [member="Kana Truden"] @Lisa @Decker Willo [member="Cathul Thuku"]

"If it makes you feel any better we never really save anyone. We just trade one death for another down the line..." Jacen gave a little shrug. "I have no idea why that would make anyone feel better," he grumbled as he got back down to ground level. "A lot of people will die holding them for as long as possible, but those deaths aren't going to be worth a damn if they get overrun in the first hour."

Jacen saw a lot of confused faces around them. The mass panic twisted the Force and made it difficult to use it. What he didn't see was a great deal of people moving east. He could shout, but that would get as far as a handful of metres around himself. "Captain Drestenn," he called into his comm. "We need a civilian comms override. Get the message out for everyone to drop all their belongings and head east towards the landing zone as orderly as possible. It sounds as if the Vong are preparing to break whatever lines we have west."

"Understood Marshall, we're working on it. Our evacuation ships are under attack but we'll try and deploy some additional shuttles and gunships to the west. We have no heavy armour that can be deployed."

"Any local forces that can help?"

"They're busy preparing to defend their own towns."

"Understood." Jacen sighed. Civilians around him started looking down at their devices or raising comms to their ears. The GADF had obviously initiated the emergency protocols that could override Alliance civilians networks. "Move!" Jacen shouted, bolstering the command with the Force. "Leave you things!" he shouted at someone who started grabbing equipment from a storage closet.

Jacen looked down at the saber that hung from his belt. He couldn't do much good to organise the evacuation from here. And they needed numbers to keep the civilians organised. He looked up at Kana, his features set in grim determination. "I'm going to head to the lines. See what time I can buy."

With the attempt at evacuating civilians well underway, and [member="Jacen Voidstalker"] ordering the civilians to leave their belongings in place almost as soon as it began, the convoy of civilians began with more order, while [member="Kaiden Rohn"] reported the need for reinforcements to the west, [member="Decker Willo"] and [member="Lisa"] both engaged, along the rest of Mynock Squadron, the coralskippers that used the wrecks as cover and that were harrowing the convoy of medvac transports. They will soon realize that, once forced into movement and dogfights, the surviving coralskippers maneuver like bricks in atmosphere the more they fire. Sure, one of the transports' particle shields were down to 50%, because the ammo fired by the coralskippers were making damage to particle shields, just that the early wave of panicked refugees gave way to a more orderly bunch afterward. Those who already needed medical attention were prioritized inside the medbays of the AT-AT barges.

"Admiral, we just need to hold out a little longer: the convoy will be full in five minutes" the chief engineer reported.

"We may not even have five minutes at the rate the Vong are advancing on our position" the sensor technician chimed in, with a sense of urgency in its voice.

"Just do what you can: we have to take them off-world before it's too late"

[member="Kana Truden"]

Decker kept on the tail of one of the coralskippers, daring to go a little further than before as he just needed one more volley to take it out. He had to avoid wreckage that they used to maneuver through, only just skimming past. He had not noticed where it was headed until he had to turn quickly to avoid running into one of the convoy ships, the coralskipper pulling off before him.

[member="Lisa"] seemed to be doing well, pulling off a move he knew that he would not ever dare to do. "Careful around the wreckage, those coralskippers might try to get you to ram into it all." A skipper made a quick pass on the convoy, catching Decker's X-Wing in it's fire. His fighter's deflectors held, and he gave chase. "Mynock 2 and Mynock 7, when the first transport goes to leave, move with it. Stay on that first transport until it leaves, then get back to the battle. [member="Cathul Thuku"], are ground forces holding?"

The only way this whole mission could be successful depended on both sky and ground forces, so if the ground needed assistance, Decker was ready to provide that necessary assistance. He watched as one of the other Mynock's came by, taking out the skipper he had given chase to with an extra volley to add to his own.

The comment managed to make even Kana perk her brows in surprise for a second, honestly having believed she was the bitter realist out of the two, but seeing Jacen talk of death in the way that he did was something she had not expected. She would agree with him, giving him a nod of her head at what he was saying, but that didn’t mean it surprised her any less. People were going to trade their lives for the well-being of others today without ever being remembered for what they had done. It was the way Kana had expected herself to die a good twenty years ago, yet here she was. She couldn’t say it was so much out of the goodness of her heart at this point as much as because it was the one thing she had ever really known. It wouldn’t be too far fetched to assume that part of why she was brought here was because of said experiences.

Even if it was said experiences that had also managed to push her to her brink once.

It was all about managing the emotions that were buried underneath. While Kana wasn’t as close to losing her temper as she was a good while ago when she was still in the grips of something she hadn’t had any measure control over. Darkness was like a drug to her in that aspect. One dose of it and it would risk everything, and she could sum it all up to a single mistake that she had no control over. In fact Kana had not been able to get out of that hell on her own, owing her entire continued survival to Jacen and Adele’s fateful intervention.

It was since that day that she had tried to get over it, and master it, but the road there was difficult and winding.

Jacen relayed order, Kana stood back as he screamed at the civilians to move.

“Well then I am coming with.” Kana stepped up to him again. “Wherever you go, I follow. That was the rules we set up.”

“Healers might be needed on the front as well, and I am not stranger to fighting the Yuuzhan Vong.”

She had the Republic to thank for that.
