Too many Contracts, (PM to join)

The work bells rang throughout the shipyards, thousands of workers were beginning their day. But today was abnormal from the usual routine of fixing fighters and perfecting gun emplacements. Today their were to begin construction of just under a hundred ships, ranging from trade vessels to capital ships. Although they were paid and employed by the OCA, the supervision would be under other ship manufacturers. Nonetheless today was going to be a long day.

************
Fleet Admiral William Kerkov stood behind his desk staring out unto the 10 klick wide shipyards. Usually when someone owned a shipyard they could use it themselves, but since the business creation process was to slow for now Kerkov decided to hire outsiders to provide blue prints and production supervisors. The guests would arrive soon so Kerkov thought he should notify his captain of security, [member="Jay Nebula"].

"Captain Nebula, prepare the bodyguards for the arrival of the ship manufacturers, make sure they are under our protection."

Everything had to go off without a hitch, because this large addition to the fleet was at the utmost necessary.

"Right away, sir. Lets move men." We ran down the corridor and hung a left into the hanger bay. My ten men and I waited patiently for the ship manufacturers to arrive in their ships. Each were in Terminus Marine Armor, but instead of the default navy blue, they were painted black with grey markings. Each having unique grey insignia. I was also in the armor, but with ribbons on my left chest area, indicating I was an officer.

It was an interesting thing to say the least as Matsu was arriving. The winter eagle she had gotten served her well as she brought it in to land and stood in her finest outfit. The vine silk kimono with her hair up in a top knot but the obscene back breaking length of it let it still fall in a curtain down her back and ankles to dangle just over the ground. She straightened herself with a small look towards the meeting room. She was looking to see and try to expand. When she absorbed Bellalika's company it had shipbuilders and researchers for making new tech. So she was putting them to work and constructing shuttle craft and small logistical ships that could hold the astrometrics labs and command computers. She was ready to see who else was there with a small look on her face.

He didn't like it, being away from his own shipyards, but he knew this contract could make or break Half Angel. Shaking his head he laughed, laughed while watching the men on the bridge of his cruiser run around like headless chickens, lost and confused. They seemed to do that a-lot, but he had gotten used to it. He nodded to his flight man, who slowly informed the cowboy his fighter was ready to take him the rest of the way to the other shipyards.

Chuckling again, he thanked his flight man, standing up and stretching lightly. He stepped aside, turning and slowly starting towards the door at the back of the bridge. He ordered three men of Scream Squad behind him, knowing that they'd be moving as one. He knew he could trust these guys, but he'd trust them lots more if he had his own troop behind him, which always made anyone feel better really.

Domino hadn't been the first to arrive, nor was she the best dressed. In fact she looked more like one of the workers with her blue jacket over a plain tunic, but her Sigma shuttle did more to speak towards Phenex's engineering and design capability as it smoothly cut through space to a landing. The soldiers were a surprise, who didn't trust their own dock's headquarters, but it was possible they were more of an honorary escort. Either way, Domino didn't pay them much mind as she followed them to the meeting room.

Matsu got a small nod of recognition as she surveyed those already assembled. Not recognizing anyone else though, the Twi'lek simply took a seat and folded her hands in her lap, waiting.

"Okay men lets move", as the sigma shuttle maneuvered its way into our docking bay I ran over inspection procedures with the rookies of my bodyguard squadron. "You two come with me, while the rest of you get back security clearance." Me and my two latest recruits boarded the sigma shuttle for inspection, as we ran over procedures I saw a brown cup. "Beta three get over here and dispose of this."
me and my two men walked down the boarding ramp "your all good to go",I said in a deep voice."Hey Jinx you all good on scans""Yes sir.""Good." "Get all manufacturers threw the security checkpoints""Yes sir, right away""every one else lets move."

Compared to many in attendance today CETO was something of an upstart. Though the shipyards had been in use and existence around the planet Ceto for decades, the company and the yard's current incarnation was still fairly new. Sitting far out to the southern systems, deep in what had once been Moross Crusade territory, CETO had yet to truly introduce itself to the galaxy at large.

This was to be a most opportune time to do just that.

He'd donned a fresh suit, one that his assistant had assured him would be far more acceptable that his typical vintage attire, and forgone the usual hat. Now was not the time to wade through old habits, after all, now was a time to forge into waters uncharted with clear vision.

A vision unmuddled by the emotional turmoil of his fractured marriage or his missing lover.

Deft fingers clasped the folio at his back as his tailored and trim self stepped out from a lift to the greeting of armored soldiers. Darcy gave pause, mildly put-out by their presence, and swallowed faintly behind his buttoned shirt.

"...good day, gentlemen," pale eyes passed over what visible weaponry presented itself, he gave a weak smile, "Parlé?"

Matsu was surprised when she saw the twi'lek... at first her mind searched for the name but she had thought she had vanished as she returned the bow. Domino was here and she was looking at the other ones while security guards were putting her through the security checks. The jedi master was looking at the ones there and she knew she might be out of her league but that just made it all the more fun to play. Between what she learned building the Will and constructing other ships she was hoping some of her designs she was getting built with the shipyards at Mon Cal would be a nice thing. Matsu continued forward through the security scan showing two turadium fans and a pair of mother of pearl chopsticks. Not weapons per say but she slid the sticks into her hair while walking through to go into the meeting room.

Sabrina was late to the party, she had come in her prototype Vortex Class Cruiser as wanted to show off her new line of ships. Though this was not the one he was buying from her, he was after two of her other lines. As soon as they came out hyperspace she boarded the on adamata drop ship, and head down to the meeting place. She knew her competitors would be there, but it did not bother her after all, friendly competition kept innovation alive. That was part of what was to be sith, never remaining stagnate always looking forward.

She landed wearing just her light battle robes, under a black cape. She then was lead to meeting point, where she recognized one of them instantly a friend of sorts [member="Domino"], the others she was not so sure of. Though she would soon make their acquaintance, she stood in the room and waited to be acknowledged, and to be showed where to sit. After all here she was a guest, and planned to be civilized and behave as one.

Unfortunately not everyone was as content as Sabrina to behave themselves, Domino had some pretty personal stuff on her shuttle, not to mention sensitive information. What were they expecting to find anyways? Everyone packed guns and the heavy lasers mounted to her ship made her personal defense beliefs fairly obvious. "Hey, that was my favorite cup! Put it back!" She heckled. Good thing she didn't have Myunnah with her, the Tuk'ata probably would have ripped some poor guard's face off just for trying to impress his boss with how 'elite' he was.

She did give Sabrina a friendly little wave and a smile to show that she wasn't serious and to welcome the other woman.

She saw [member="Domino"] wave at her, she gave her nod of her head back as sign of respect. Then head over to be checked by security, they would find her standard armament wrist blaster and lightsaber, after all what else does girl need. As she waited for them to do there checks, she asked domino, in a polite respectful tone So how you keeping, not heard from you in while. This question was double edged, as she was gathering her own host know. She was hoping to make her play on the galaxy, and things like this where helping her along the way. As finding new friends and all, never hurt anyone, as long as they where the right type to have. She needed people she could trust when she did, though she leave that conversation for later date.

Kerkov was pleased with the results of the inspection teams. No one trying to kill him this time. All Kerkov wanted to do was get his ships' building underway, with this huge addition to the armada that no other threat in the Terminus system could face the OCA. And the constructers of the new ships in service had arrived.

Dressed in his whites as usual, Kerkov stood on the deck of a large land speeder. It was more of a shuttle for the employees of the OCA, and not the only one following him. There were 3 in total to pick up the new arrivals. A report beeped onto his datapad from his bodyguard captain [member="Jay Nebula"]. Then the light spilled into Kerkov's vision as the shuttles reached the hangar bay. He could see the various ships that had landed into his Headquarters, interesting designs, and just they reason he had hired them.

As the shuttle sputtered to a stop Kerkov greeted his guests,

"Welcome my starcraft construction able friends, to the OCA's Terminus Shipyards!"

Matsu looked at the man who had assembled all of them together. She would have to make notes of this while she was moving and going towards the speeders to she was guessing go where they were to meet and discuss things. She clasped her hands on front of herself and offered a smile to the one there while she was presented to a seat and straightened her robes. Taking in the sights of the others and trying to see if she knew any of them and she didn't seem to. At the least she could see about trying to make sure these ships worked out quiet well.

Nodding at the impressive sight of the the massive shipyard stretching to the horizon to show her appreciation, Domino's political face was back. Building ships on a planet was safer for workers not used to working without atmo, and that was about the only advantage she saw over orbital yards. Mostly it was personal choice and she wasn't about to let her own preferences sour helping these people.

"Same old same old," she told Sabrina as she made to follow Matsu and join their host. "If people aren't trying to kill me, they're trying to take everything I've got." It was meant as a joke and idle conversation, but it was just as double-edged as Sabrina's questions.

Kerkov viewed the ships that had ported the company owners, they were interesting but not what Kerkov was looking for. What he was looking for had been pre-discussed, 3 fleets worth of ships, 94 in total. And he was hoping the construction could get started as soon as possible, because this addition to the armada was extremely necessary if it wanted to be a force reckoned against.

With that in mind Kerkov began to usher the new arrivals in as quickly as possible,

"Good then, now it would be wonderful if you could join me on these shuttles here to my conference room to discuss the business we have planned."

Matsu looked at the ones there while she continued to go towards the conference with the man as she heard Domino and did have to cover her mouth to suppress a small laugh. The woman was still enjoyable to be around compared to most and there was even a song rumored to be about her at Polis Masa... The place she saved so long ago. Matsu was ready to begin the meeting and present her ships. She had several things but had been working on systems that could be used in ships. "I am ready to begin."

She replied to domino as they walked forward to meeting chamber, Well if you ever need a friend or a refuge, you can always ask me. She was being truthful as she liked the woman, and unlike a lot sith she was not xenophobic. She had the data pad of her current range of ship, in her left hand as she moved forward into meeting room. She then waited to find out where she was sitting, after all some people do take great care over seating plans, and it would be rude.

From security to shuttles to the conference room, Darcy mentally noted how quickly this shifting of bodies all transpired. Could have sworn he was only in his own ship just moments ago, yet here he was: walking into a conference room with a gaggle of ladies and the Admiral to boot.

Curioser and curioser.

Being a man of few and quiet words, he merely nodded to those who made eye contact and smiled amiably. Sure they were his competitors, but there was little in the way of competition here today. Everyone here already had a contract and a purpose. Perhaps he might be the only one with questions. Straightening his suit, Darcy took a seat next to [member="Domino"] at the conference table, blue eyes briefly and curiously wandering the figure of the equally blue twi'lek - a color he had rarely seen of that race before.

Kerkov waited before seating himself in the room, at the head of the table of course. When he sat down Kerkov touched a button onto his commlink, beckoning a young officer with multiple datapads. Immediately he set them down at every seat including Kerkov's for the occupant to view. On the datapad was the specs on the contract he was going to have everyone sign. Not to mention what the company owner would receive from the contract, what ships he/she was going to make, and how many ships he/she were going to make.

Kerkov lifted the datapad and begun to press and swipe the little screen, until it revealed more details of the contract,

"Good, now that you are all here let us begin shall we? First your payment, you will be payed for the combined cost of whatever ships your companies are making including 5% of whatever that cost extra as payment for your services. Each of you will be building one or two designs, I shall list your company name and what ships you are building right now and what sector you will be building it in, Ceto Engineering &Technology Operations is constructing two Victory II-Class Star Destroyers in sector 11 and 12, Kotass Industries you are constructing nine Excelsior Class Cruisers and twenty-five Camel Class Freighters in sector 10, Sasori is constructing thirty-six Sentinel Class Landing Craft and twenty Rieger Class Logistics Ships in sector 5, and last but not least Phenex Industries is constructing two Widow Class Frigates in sector 2. Any questions?"
