Stardust caught [member="Thiavi"] looking at her, this caused stardust to stop and stand proudly as she nodded back to the fellow mandalorian. Starfust was coming as someone looking for a new group to be with, this was stardust coming to see if these were actually jedi and not...mere pretenders...stardust sighed to herself behind the helmet before she started walking and removed her helmet, the lekku protector opened and then finally she removed the helmet and looked about remaining at the back for the moment

Jyoti spoke and star had to say she was happy to hear what was being said, moving with the group stardust managed to walk her way closer to [member="Allyson Locke"] and then spoke

certainly have my interest as does the whole of everything...my apologies stardust Solus Skirae...battlemaster within the clans

Bold? Maybe, but she wasnt afraid at all

She sighs at kafh. Pimples? what? Kafh and his.. Kafhness.. and then there was amara, as he pointed out, giving people fruit and generally being friendly. She had come a long way already, her introduction was having said fruit thrown at her.. Glad to see she was adjusting at any rate. She had nothing against amara, in fact she kind of enjoyed having her around, even if she wouldn't say it aloud, However she couldn't help but find the comparison annoying. Amara came from an isolated world of trees and wildlife, lived a simple life hunting and growing things, of course she wasn't nervous, she was a little girl discovering a whole universe for the first time. Thiavi was an orphan from a culture centered around family, who'd lived a life of slavery until recently, one very different from kafh or amara.

"Of course she doesn't. The jedi aren't wiping out her people" She says quietly, taking a few steps past the group. Truth be told, she didn't care about the "United" clans, cadera's people had more or less wiped her clan out as far as she could tell, But the silver order, the confederacy, both of them were actively wiping mandalorians off the faces of their own worlds, had been since she was a little girl, and both of them were, or used jedi. The fact that thiavi trusted kahlil, or even kafh after he had started training without her knowing, it was a miracle she stayed.

Space, to some, was a frontier called home; a haven free of political and financial oppressions. A home among the stars where an individual could find peace and quiet, or etch out a lifestyle of their choosing without the trivial demands of concrete rules and laws to follow. Space, to some, was the perfect setting. But not everyone enjoyed space or traveling among the stars. One such person was Mikilanna herself. There were no bouts of fear of flying or the shivering annoyance of coldness that usually accompanies flights through dark space that set her unease. It was her, or rather her species. She looked human, with a few exceptions such as her tail, but there was more to her than just that. And what laid underneath could be awakened through stress of space travel. Luckily, her Father had trained her well to prevent the elevation of stress; and how to control the shifts.

Stress was one thing, but why she walked around alone was the nervousness she felt. She was young. This was, as far as her memory banks could recall, was the first time she was away from her family, fellow Felacatians, and her homeworld. Mikilanna understood social interactions and how to conduct herself properly. She was born into one of the Noble families on Felacat, but attending Balls and Dances paled in comparison to this; and this was something immensely important. If this didn't make her nervous, this was the first time she was among those of her kind. Not her species kind, no, but those that were special like her. What was it, yes, the Force.

The Force, as she felt it, was here in full essence. For some it was powerful, contained, and felt serene. For others, perhaps not so defined. But for Mikilanna, the Force flowed through her raw and loud; loud like raging waves crashing and smashing into rocky shores or against rocky cliffs. She was confused, nervous , and this threatened her stress levels. So as the ship careened through space, Mikilanna walked about muttering mediation words to keep her calm; at least until she understood what was happening deep inside her.

Just as she began to walk off, Alakor arrived, fashionably late. She paused and just smiled his way, waving off his apology.

"No worries friend, we've only just begun. Now if you'll follow me."

She led them right out of the hangars into a long winding hall, and it was here that there was a transition in the appearance of personnel, from engineers and pilots in jumpsuits to civilians of various ages in a mix of casual wear and robes. If they weren't Jedi, then they were most certainly Force Sensitive, at least.

"Now the current Jedi Order as we know started initially as a community of refugees. Pogroms and kidnappings against Jedi and their families are disturbingly common these days, while their temples and enclaves are usually prime targets for looting and general desecration. Outside of then active organizations, we had a serious issue with a large and growing dispora of Jedi on the run from various assailants. When some of us recognized the issue, we took inspiration from the fugitive network Great River, creating a mobile sanctuary out of the Vingilot."

"Back then, we didn't consider ourselves as anything special, but over the past few years, hundreds and hundreds of Jedi and other FU have come aboard until we had ourselves a fully fledged community. With that, the sanctuary evolved into a Praxeum, and the community into something resembling a real Jedi Order. Around that time, we had other types of people begin to crop up. Not necessarily displaced individuals like refugees, but rather folks who found they simply didn't fit in with more political and militarized groups. Here in the Jedi Order, we favor no one state or faction. Guided by the Code, ultimately our allegiance is to the Force itself, seeking enlightenment and balance in all things."

What 'balance' ultimately was, exactly, was always a constant topic of discussion, but at the very least most believed in the value of remaining apolitical.

A little after she finished speaking, they came upon the end of the hall. Two massive double door slid open to reveal a stark change in environment. Narrow drab utilitarian corridors gave way to a bright airy space full of wild growths of foliage, bubbling pools, and manicured lawns that all together stretched out over the area of several football fields. Here, one could really appreciate the sheer size of the once mighty battle carrier.

"And welcome to the Central Biome, or 'Central' for short. Residents like to congregate here on their downtime between missions or shifts."

Indeed, there were many people about, either playing around or training. A little deeper into the biome, and one could even see a lightsaber class being taught, one large Ithorion surrounded by a gaggle of Younglings beating the air with their training sabers.

The novices had a long, long journey ahead of them on the road to mastery.

"Central is mostly utilized for recreational purposes, while we have closed off secondary biomes for hydroponics and recycling. Now if you would all like to break off from the group and explore Central for yourself, then feel free. Beyond Central, you'll find just about most of the features and amenities you would in most Jedi Temples, we just have a few giant rockets strapped to ours."

She looked over to Allyson, grinning. "Which my dear friend here works so hard to keep running! Anything you'd like add?"

Allyson had been quietly following along with the crowd, she remained up in the front near Jyoti for the time being as the woman gave a history of the Jedi Order. She had heard it before, but it was always nice to be reminded where everything started. If you forgot where you started, you won’t appreciate where you have ended up.

As everyone wandered and listened, Allyson’s trail of thought was broken by a Twi’lek woman. She paused and looked towards the woman and nodded. “I’m hoping we gain a lot of interest.” A hand extended as the woman finish introducing herself. “Nice to meet you Stardust.” They continued on as they continued the tour. It was nice seeing some Mandalorians in the fray, Allyson was more of the adopted kind – but still like the Jedi remembered who raised her.

They paused at Central and Allyson admired everything. She remembered what they had started with and to see it bustling like it was now made her smile. All their hard work was coming to a reality and it was more than anything she could have ever imagined. She could hear the grin in Jyoti’s voice as she said her name, turning Allyson smiled and nodded.

“Well first off, those said rockets haven’t blown me up or spaced me – so that’s a good thing. They’re fairly stable.” Allyson chuckled about her typical misfortunes and then knelt down and patted the green droid beside her. “This is Bait, he’s one of hundreds of droids of his kind.” Standing, she allowed the droid to do some demonstrations of his extending arms and his shell that housed not only his AI but also other equipment for repairs.

Allyson continued, “You’ll see them a lot, just tell them they’re doing a good job and their names are located on their backs. They go by names instead of just serial numbers, droids have a soft spot in my heart. They are here to make sure that everything runs smoothly.” Allyson nodded as another droid came over and began to talk to Bait in a bit of beeps and trills. “Looks like Anchor joined us.”

The droids continued quietly in the corner and Allyson continued. “The one really amazing thing about our home is that at times you can forget that you’re on a ship. Everything is stabilized so even when things are a bit bumpy – you won’t feel it. Jyoti stated, Vingilot has everything you could want and need from a typical Jedi Temple and we are continuing to work on it.”

Musing a little, the Corellian put her hands behind her back and leaned on her heels slightly. “Though my favorite places are the Hydroponics and the Hanger of course.”

Is Ascending In Power
Despite hiding his smile, Alakor was happy that there were no penalties or disciplinary measures put in place for him. Slowly, but surely, he was realizing that whatever conceptions he had about the Jedi were wrong. He didn't feel safe yet in trusting anyone here, bu he was steadily becoming more comfortable with his new surroundings. It was still a new experience for him though, having only spent months on the ship. Previously, his only experience with ships was using them to get away from the galaxy.

He had the explanations that were given, although he had no idea what historical references [member="Jyoti Nooran"] had made. The only thing Alakor could say he knew how to do was to fight: he had been tortured to be a warrior, but he knew with the Jedi Order, he could gain new skills to better people's lives. The Ephicanthix, hearing a small description of the struggle they had gone through reminded him of his own struggles: people were in control of their own fates, and he intended to maintain his new independence.

As the tour continued, Alakor maintained a neutral expression. Inside, he was like a child. He kept having a nagging feeling to touch every device that was here, to see what they did. It wasn't like he wasn't exposed to technology before, but the former gladiator's life hadn't been similar to this. Either way, he knew not to cause any stir at the moment. When everyone had gone, then his childish desires would take over him.

Alakor then heard [member="Allyson Locke"]'s explanations. He didn't know what she meant by hydroponics, but even he knew what hangar was. He didn't see anything though, as he was just another member of a large group.

Stumbling through the ship, Mikilanna walked into a construction aspect; where a couple of workers were, well, working. Several wires and mechanical pieces laid strewn about. But what caught her attention was the argument between the two workers. Unknown to them that she was standing there, Mikilanna listened to the exchanges of words. Apparently, the argument was over the proper placement of parts in accordance to the wiring system.

Mechanically, she was inclined. Ignoring the debate, Mikilanna examined the pieces and the protruding wires; finally coming to an educated assessment. "The problem," she began pointing to the wire's plug system, "Is that this particular wiring is Corellian, and you are trying to install Cloud City technology to it. That is never going to be compatible."

"May I suggest scraping the City material in favor of," Mikilanna said trolling her memory banks, "For those Mygeeto parts. They should fit nicely."

Looking at each other curiously, one worker asked, "How old are you?"

"Fifteen," she said leaving the two, ducking back into the ship's corridors.

"Wow, she's right," one of the engineers said after examining the pieces.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
The jedi master had been quiet while listening and moving around. The ship was a wonder in some ways but improving upon the design or what they could do might be helpful. Thankfully Sasori had full compliments of Artisans and other jedi from the tech division. She clasped her hands behind her back when she looked around. One hand coming up as she brought out her datapad with a scanner attachment and started getting the information. A working model they could test out changes to and if need be well they had some new special techology that could be tried to upgrade and improve upon the ship itself.
