The Elysium Imperial Army lacked heavy weaponry and support equipment. Therefore Commodore Burtch commissioned a light grenade launcher. The many cogs in the Elysium warmachine began turning. First the design, by Viken Dobson , one of the two Dobsons loyal to King Valhoun. Viken's upbringing in a rich family shows in the launcher, which has engravings and designs with silver plated alusteel. Next came the production of the weapon, by Mandal-Elysium Arms, overseen by Loreena Arenais-Valhoun. Finally the launcher was distributed throughout The Imperial Army and Navy, starting with Sanji Hoss and The 1st Elysium Armored Brigade.
