Invasion Through the Gates of Hell (Republic Invasion of Empress Teta - Republic vs. One Sith)

Allies: One Sith, probably

Clack.

Thud.

THWAP.

[member="Darth Shara"]'s sandwich was interrupted by the smacking of a cane off of his head. "You're complacent." Came a raspy voice from behind him as the vaguely hunched frame of Disciple meandered its way into view in front of the One SIth's large... thing.

"You must be grain fed." The figure says sarcastically, looking to space where the orange streaks of dropships entering atmo could be seen. "Shame. I haven't found a mascot yet."

Objective: Hunger

The sights all around her brought.... interesting attentions. She saw the little jedi who had helped her with a project on the side of the one sith. Her eyes narrowed and felt a ping, darksiders healing was never as good as jedi. Too costly compared to having skill and she kept walking forward with her hands on the scattergun as one of the jedi was fighting. Her delicious looking green skin and all those tattoo's with a smile Shinju fired the scattergun into a small grouping of Republic soldiers. Her force signature obscured from the taozin and to all but the more specialized invisible. The rest of her gear still with her while she whistled. "Come out little jedi, I want to play with you."

"Sonofa-" Vulpesen leaped back, using the force to pull the door in front of him. He heard the attacks slam against the metal, shaking the craft. Well, at least he had managed to wedge himself in tight. This pod wasn't going anywhere. After a moment to make sure he was still on one piece, Vulpesen sat down in his seat. "Ok, not my best idea, but it sure was fun." He took his saber and igrnited it, stabbing a hole in the op of his pod just infront of the wall he was embedded in. Using this hole, he shouted to the people outside. "So, any chance I can get you to surrender?" As he spoke, he brought his saber to the back of the pod, cutting himself an alternate route in case things somehow went south.

Balaya looked at the jedi as he retreated back into the pod and she raised an eyebrow. Leveling the grenade launcher again and aiming as her finger squeezed the trigger to fire two more caries grenades at the pod and door. Usually pod doors popped off so let the mist fidn the gaps and the man inhale it, with the power of her unseelie fueling the darkside nexus covering the area she felt invigorated before snapping to the droids. "Get him." The two lopped off at the pod and Balaya directed them to start digging him out to loosen it up he'd either have to get out or go the long way... Either way until his back up arrived and fought past the others on the wall and at the doors, through chokepoints... He was the one sith's new play thing.

Vulpesen growled as he heard the his of changing air. "Oh hell no." With a quick shake of his head, his mask flipped ifnrotn of his head, filtering the air to keep him safe. "You know, my mother was a sith." He turned his saber away from the wall and strategically weld the door, making it more than a little difficult for the droids to get through. "Not that I've ever seen her face or known her name." He followed the scratched, using what he knew about their shape to stab through his barrier, aiming for their heads.

Allies: [member="Darth Shara"], @One Sith
Enemies: Anyone that gets in his way.

A tall creature dressed in black stood near the Demon Sith, Darth Shara. The black clothes, cloak, and hat stood in stark contrast to the mask it wore in place of a face. A long, white beak arched out and mirrored lenses glinted in the light. No skin or flesh or hair was seen from the creature, clothed in such a manner that it was. Underneath the clothes it wore simply a skin and air tight bio-suit for reasons only it could know.

As the Republic assault began and the sky rained fire and steel and ships, Agnusdei simply watched as the fiery contrails reflected in the lenses of its mask. It simply watched quietly, contentedly, for a time before speaking, its uttered words akin to dry leaves rasping across an endless pavement; the dead rattle of a living soul.

"... I believe it is time... Shall I delay them, my Lord...?" the inhuman thing asked, its tone clipped and proper, despite the rasp when it spoke. "... Or would you rather me... funnel them... here?"

Tracyn walked off from the shuttle, glancing around. Blaster bolts, explosions, and the flurry of battle swirled around him. Republic troopers, armed to the teeth and full of rage, swirled around him. Tracyn twirled his lightsaber in his hand, running a crushgaunt-adorned hand over his Beskar-plated chest. His hair flapped in the wind as the men passed, and he slowly closed his eyes, taking in every aspect of the battlefield. And then, he charged. He ran with a ferocity that only a Mandalorian could bring, but had the deadly grace of the Jedi. He came upon a gun emplacement, a machine gun that was tearing into the Republic troopers. He grasped the sandbag, vaulting himself over and kicked a One Sith in the face, bringing his face into a bloody pulp with a single vault-kick. The other Sith, went to reach for a weapon, but Tracyn grabbed him by the throat, and threw him against the sandbags, shattering his helmet's visor, and then Tracyn followed up by curb-stomping him. The entire ordeal took about four seconds. And Tracyn wasn't even augmenting his strength, yet.

He turned towards the Iron Citadel, pointing a single finger at it, and gave a battle cry. With a flick of his thumb, his lightsaber ignited. He was ready to engage more Sith.

Aboard @Popo’s ship.

Eyrecae clearly hadn’t learned her lesson. When it became clear that war between Republic and Sith would reach a new intensity she had volunteered to help the Republic’s attack.

And so she was with the Chancellor, the slug-like Hutt creature named Popo. He seemed a decent sort, and she hadn’t wanted to crush his skull yet. That practically made him family….

The waiting was hard though. So much waiting. When they got to the ground it would be time for fun.

"Praelior, may I have this dance. This Jedi and I..." The voice came seemingly from nowhere, a good few seconds passing before the raspy and cold owner emerged. "Have a history." Vindica finished, eyes locked on the Amaran raised Jedi. Oh he'd waited for this. A chance to put the man before him in the dirt permanently. He remembered their first meeting, and their last, time had done Vulpesen well, made him stronger, but not nearly enough.

A crimson blade snapped to life in his hand and a twisted smiled pulled at scarred flesh as he approached. If the Zeltron consented or not wasn't a true concern, he'd have the Jedi's head either way. His red eye narrowed predatorily, black flecks dilating leaving the eye with the appearance of the tattooed skin of some Sith. The other, green and vibrant, did not change. Maria held that part of him. The sister of a dead man, one whose place he'd taken.

As he heard the voice, Vulpesen's eyes widened. Finally, he'd come back! FINALLY, THEY HAD MET! Marcus Fuast had become his enemy back n Hapes. He had almost died that day and ever since each conflict had been without a winner. "Well look who's crawled out of the murky depths of hell. Pleasure to see-er, hear you again Faust." He reached behind him to feel the emp grenades he had always carried from that day. He'd vowed to prepare for Faust. He never broke a ow. "Miss Zeltron, would you mind giving me and Faust a bit of room to possibly destroy each other? I'm sure you'll get your chance to shoot me in the future." Though his voice was amiable, his mind was racing. Already, he was taking information on the room beyond the wall of that pod. This day had been a long time coming. Now he just hoped he could survive it.

Balaya looked as [member="Darth Vindica"] arrived and asked to go after @Vulpesen.... Who was she to say no and deny him. With a look at the man in the pod her grin remained on her face before backing away and her finger snapped. The two wardroids coming to her heels before she held the sonic rifle up and at the ready but bowed her head. "He is all yours Vindica." She laughed and turned around keeping her senses trained on the jedi while searching the battlefield for a new one to fight.

Location - Maria's ship "Reverie", orbit of Empress Teta
Objective - Save the cultural artefacts.
Team - Gamma
Allies - [member="Avalore Eden"], [member="Turin Val Kur"], [member="Jannik Morlandt"]
Enemies - @All One Sith Forces.

Maria's Cutter-Class Luxury Ship Reverie had left the main fleet and headed towards the museums of Empress Teta. As she was no real fighter, she thought it would, be better to focus on saving the culture of the planet and many historically important items. Of course she would have to fight, but not on the big scale. And it just felt right to be away from the main fight, doing something useful for the Republic. Everything in this invasion was quite important, but saving culture felt like the best way to serve the Republic.

It was Natalja's first invasion, first battle with the Republic, and she was still a bit unsure about her alignment. She was a Lightsider now, indeed, but she felt like any real manipulation could make her change sides again. Thus, it was a bit better to be with others, with a group of more experienced Jedi. And by that, she meant the ones who had been Jedi for a bit longer than her and had always been on the Light Side of the Force.

She was a bit nervous, true, but she didn't want this feeling to dominate her mind. After all, there was no time for feelings during this battle.

The meeting place for the Team Gamma was at the museum, and that's where she was headed. It would take some time, as she was still in the orbit of the planet, looking for the right place to land. If she had landed in a shipyard, she would have definitely been caught by the One Sith forces. It was better to land in a safer place.

A member of the team she was a part of, Jannik was his name, was on the ship, too. She had met him at the Jedi Temple and then together, they had started going to the planet of Teta. Well, with the rest of the fleet, but still, independent. She hadn't had much time to talk to the man, but she was sure she could do that either during the invasion or after it, depending on how things work out.

Maybe Maria even died on the battlefield so that she wouldn't have the chance to talk to him at all. It may happen, right?

The faces of the soldiers were hidden beneath smooth durasteel plating. Purple hues glistened under the flashing of emergency lights. The Sixth Battalion soldiers glanced to one another, making final roll calls and switching safeties off. Hasjo Hallu stood among them. He looked like a walking armoury. He was covered head-to-toe in his Mobile Life Support Suit, which made up a dense layer of durasteel for protection. Perfectly interlocking plates allowed him flexibility, albeit limited in comparison to his former agility. His waist was coated in weapons that clung to a metallic strip belt. Double-Bladed Lightsaber, Lightwhip, Long-Handle Lightsaber, Lightsaber, San-Ni Staff and lastly a holstered AB-1 heavy blaster pistol. In his hands he held the uncommon A2 rifle. He was one of his men. Though he was a mighty sight to behold, he was shorter than most others, standing at a measly five foot and seven inches. He glanced to his fellow Jedi, Cree. He nodded once, an attempt to comfort her from the tremble of the LAAT. Anti-air batteries were unleashing hell upon the armada that dropped from the skies.

First Lieutenant Dubbo Martinez slammed his palm against the release. The bay doors opened, bursting the cargo hold with light. "Pile out! Go, go, go!" he shrieked over sudden blaster fire. Bodies were dropping like flies as they were barraged with a maelstrom of gunfire. The variety of hilts swung to and fro as Hasjo stepped forward, glancing bolts scratching his defensive plates. He fell to a knee, shouldering his rifle. Before the enemy soldier could react, the Exotic Weapons Master had pulled the trigger. With deathly accuracy, the man was down, and would stay down. Those who had survived began launching themselves into the fray, returning fire. Martinez was working to organise a perimeter, shutting down the city intersection. They would have to march from here to the library, a gruelling task that lay ahead of them. Hasjo lowered his rifle, the firefight had reduced to odd potshots every two minutes. He found Cree among the madness of medics racing to grab the injured. He faltered in his step, suddenly feeling the presence of one he knew. Maya. He looked to Cree, speaking in his synthesised voice, "We cannot delay any longer. Let us move with haste." He silently hoped that Zaren's shuttle had landed safely. He had yet to see him.

She moved, Saki could feel the energies of the planet as the circuit she felt complete. Pushing the force through her body while she barreled through sith forces looking for anyone of interest. A small smirk played across her face and she felt the impact tremor in her arm, her enjoyment of the fight bringing the technique and fullness of it all to the forefront. THen she could sense others and moved running in towards the two jedi and jumping up brought the weight into a swing behind her back as it crashed into the ground between several sith and sent them up and out with a shockwave. Saki stood still for a moment though seeing Hasjo and popping her neck with a laugh.

OBJECTIVE: To shine light back onto the confused Maya

With the thrill of battle urging her on, Rasu seemed to hover between the clashing mobs of Jedi and Sith alike, swinging her twin blades like cleavers as she fought her way towards the epicenter of the city. Her hair whipped behind her in sweaty streaks as she continued her onslaught further forward, drawing in on the familiar presences of both dark and light. She had been unable to participate in the defense of Coruscant, and having watched it fall, she had put aside her feelings of ill will for the Republic, knowing that all Jedi must now stand together, in the defense of freedom and democracy. Empress Teta was only one battle but in a way it was revenge for the capital, and the Shi'ido was more than privileged to be given the chance to aid her cousins.

Calling on the Force, she pulled one particular nasty-looking Sith into her golden blade, her nose wrinkling as the smell of burning flesh wafted up to her nostrils. Allowing the dark sider to collapse of her weapon, she brought both sabers down to her side, leaving them in a relaxed but alert position as she broke out into a run once more. Bodies and rubble lay in front of her like a path, and as she continued on, the devastation only intensified, with the area appearing as if some powerful cannon had been fired upon Sith and building alike. The destruction reminded her of only one Jedi, and as Rasu rounded a bend, she felt a smile growing as she caught sight of Saki, the only one who could have been responsible for the rubble left behind her. Standing beside the fierce woman, Rasu could make out the form of Hasjo Hallu, and another beside him, a Mirialan Jedi, who Rasu assumed was of the Republic. Racing up to meet them, she gave an acknowledging grunt, as she regained her breath. "I assume you are the cause of that little scene behind us?" she asked, looking at Saki with a grin. My it was good to be back on the battlefield.

The perimeter was secured. The dead were being harried away. Hasjo stood among the chaos as he saw the appearance of Saki, laughing with a maddening glee. She was indeed a sight to behold among the chaos. Hasjo was far too serious of personality to resort to laughing in a war zone, or really, most situations. He slung the A2 rifle over his back, resting between his shoulder blades. He approached the woman, offering her his forearm in a Nautolan formality. Those of his species shook by holding one another's forearms rather than hands, to shake another's hand indicated you thought of them as your enemy. An old tradition that rarely saw the light of day among common society on Glee Anselm, but there were those who held to traditional beliefs - however ancient and outdated they may be. After the formality was or wasn't had, he would indicate with his armoured index finger towards a library that stood out among the city. "The Grand Library of Cinnagar. A portion of the Sixth Battalion forces will be assaulting it. They hold artifacts from the Great Sith War. It's knowledge is invaluable and cannot be held in enemy hands - especially hands belonging to the Sith themselves." His voice was droid-like in nature. Monotone, lifeless, devoid of any and all emotion. A result of his horrible injuries, leaving him incapable of speech without a synthesiser. He began to use his hands to emphasis a feeling that had penetrated his mind, encompassing his thoughts, "I feel a familiar presence. Maya is here." His relationship with Maya was one of great friendship and deep loyalty. Though she had for a long time been treading a line between the light and dark side of the force. Given she ever raised her blade to Hasjo, he would not hesitate to strike her down. Such was the way of the Sith-Hunter. Bogan could only corrupt, and if she dare raise her blade to a friend, then it was already too late for her. "[background=#080808]I assume you are the cause of that little scene behind us?[/background]" Rasu asked, looking at Saki with a grin. Hasjo took a step back, allowing formalities to be dealt with between the two, he would offer his forearm to Rasu and await what she had to say, and what Saki had to say.

Hasjo raised his wrist to his faceplate, speaking into the transceiver with a synthesised voice. Chhht! "Alpha-One to all squadrons. I have the Sixth Battalion converging on the Iron Citadel. Advise immediate assault on Iron Citadel by all other squadrons. The Sith are holed up in there. We need to flush them out. Once the Citadel is taken, all else will follow. How-copy? Over." Chhht! He was no longer a Commander in the Republic Navy, but he couldn't just stand there and allow chaos to ensue among friendly ranks. Jedi Commanders were focusing on themselves, leaving all of their fellows and soldiers spread thin across the battlefield. Though he hoped none of them would take his advice as an order, after all, he did say 'advise'. He did not want to seem like he was impeding upon official rank structure. The Sixth Battalion stood in the streets, battle ready and assuming defensive positions around the secured perimeter. He would await a reply from friendly forces before changing his course from the Great Library to the Iron Citadel. The Jedi Master was oblivious to the fact that one of their own, Vulpesen, had currently lodged an escape pod into the Citadel's wall, along with him in it. He looked down a side street, spotting another Jedi leading the charge, Tracyn. "Alright, time to mobilise, Lieutenant Martinez, you know the drill," Hasjo said, waving a hand to the officer. "You heard the General!" Martinez shouted, "Form up, double time!"

Shara watched his sandwich fall from his hands down the great wall like a rock down a massive cliff. A frown grew on his face, that had been a delicious sandwich made with loving hands for him as a treat. He was about to grab the seemingly small creature and break his spine for daring to mess with his food, when the good doctor arrived.

With an upset scowl Shara regarded him. “Bring them here. I need something to kill.”

He would avenge his sandwich. Not on the man besides him, no Shara guessed that he was an ally of some sort, or at least no friend to the Republic. The Darkside was funny like that. Shara did know however that the man was not of the One Sith, though that had hardly mattered in the past, perhaps he just liked murder.

A lot of people did.

Darth Naomi

Error 404: title-not-found
Location: Hyperspace->Orbit->Atmosphere->Surface
Allies: On Esi'th, [member="Darth Veles"] and his pals
Enemies: Go figure
Objective: Improvised

The Miralukan Sith knight had spent a couple days in space. On one of their Torment-class battleships. She was one of a few experts they had on Coruscant at the time and she could use a ride to Empres Teta, where the female intended to meet her friend Darth Veles. The trip was not boring, in fact Darth Naomi hardly had any time to look through the window into the swirling darkspace, because she was organizing a complete overhaul of the ship's communication systems. This was a little test project, so to speak, some people wanted to update some stuff to improve the communication range, more secure encryption, other things, but apparently they lacked the people. The ship itself was headed for Teta to pick up some important artifacts, or something, honestly, Naomi did not pay much attention to whys, nor was she entirely up to speed on other news because of the overhaul, since it made communicating with them quite impossible.

So, simply put when they dropped out of hyperspace and the communications were finally established with the planet the surprise was major as the screw totally did not expect to find a bunch of Republic ships in orbit. When the alarms beamed, Naomi figured something's not right. Her work on the overhaul was on schedule and mostly done, so she could pretty much just leave it to the ship's engineers. When she appeared on the bridge and saw the sensor readings, her face momentarily dimmed with a dilemma, but she wouldn't linger. The captain would receive orders to prepare all troops for landing, all fighters to sortie and to shoot down as many Republic shuttles and transports as possible. On her way to the shuttle bay the blind Sith would arm herself with two light blaster pistols, her favorite heavy slugthower pistol and some utilities. She would board one of the transports headed for the planet. In some other situation she might have stayed on the bridge and command a battle, but in this case it seemed that the actual battle was taking place on the surface instead of in space.

The descent was nothing like her descent to Coruscant during its takeover. They passed the atmosphere pretty easily, probably because their own forces on the ground would not spray a barrage at them, as ensured by their IFFs. She would however hear distant explosions as the fighters escorting them rammed into the Republic forces. As soon as the shuttle touched the ground, Darth Naomi remembered her friend's teachings. She would hide her force signature from the Jedi, while partially repelling light, making her somewhat transparent, not completely invisible but surely harder to spot and fight. She found partial use of the Force Cloak must less taxing and while of course it was not as effective, it still gave her an upper hand on most non-sensitives. Just like that she would storm out from the shuttle with a group of other Sith and troopers, clashing with the nearby Jedi and Republic troops. After striking down her third victim, Naomi found a familiar force signature that was Veles not too far from her position. Quickly taking down another hostile that obliviously to her stood on her path the Miralukan Sith strode in that direction.

Saki wasn't one to pause in a fight but standing there she had little else to do after she heard Hasjo and Rasu. One she knew fairly well from her time in the jedi and the other was a silver jedi master. "Yeah it has been awhile Rasu, and Hasjo whatever you got planned I am going to help with cause leaving people with the sith isn't a fun time." She just moved looking forwards and popping her neck. "Come on you two lets get ready, there are sith to stomp and friends to help but more importantly well this is going to be very exciting. Never thought I'd feel like this after all that training." The rest of her body she focused on, letting the force course through the limbs and then her muscles bulked a little more for show. Raw physical enhancement meant her senses might not detect some but she could see sharper with force body, she could outlast most and with the majority of her armors being able to block a saber strike or two she was ready. Her sigil and fists white to match. "So what do you guys say we show them why the light will always beat the dark."

They were to assault the Grand Library of Cinnagar. They certainly had good numbers. As the units began to mobilize and head out they would meet another wave of resistance. Her emerald blade left a trail of highlighted cool as she swung. The one that goes by the name of Saki seemed to be rather, enjoying herself. She nodded, the group seemed to grow, some she knew and others she had prior. She rushed forward, flipping over one enemy, and blocking, and returning the blaster bolts of two others, while the forces behind her dealt with the one she maneuvered around. As the oath was semi clear, her danger sense was kicking in, there was something, but the thought process was clouded as it was a time of war. Not wanting to stray from the group she didn't run off, however she did look around for some type of answer. Then turned around quickly to block what resulted from a scattergun, her eyes had squinted into a narrow focus. A opponent calling her out, on the battlefield, she knew better than to fight on the terms of a Sith, and this woman...she hadn't ever seen an adversary like her. Her clothing was....on the revealing side. She took a step forward.

"Come out and play? The battlefield is no place for a child." she would tease the woman.
