Darjetii Kyramud

Nobody was sure how it first started. Some think it was a virus, others claim it was aliens, an act of God, or some secret government experiment. All anyone knew for sure was that is was the end of the world. It was simple, yet incomprehensible. The dead refused to stay dead. People panicked and fled the cities. It was chaos. The military tried to fight back, but it was nigh-impossible. They were trained for shooting center of mass, and every fallen comrade was another foe. It was two weeks of bloody fighting. Then…..silence. The cities were quiet except for the moans of the dead, searching for flesh. There were survivors of Z-Day, however. But there are a few who shouldn’t be here…..

You woke up in a room not unlike one you would see in a Coruscanti highrise. It was a bit smaller and simpler, with more primitive appliances. Photos of the previous occupant and her family are on the walls. There is some food in the pantry, but not much. Eric wakes up on a couch. Adenn, on a recliner, and Kallion on the bed, tucked in the corner. None of you have any idea where your gear is, or even where you are. All you know is you shouldn’t be here, and you have a splitting headache.

When you wake, there is a breeze, and the tang of salt in the air. The roar of the waves helps jar you awake, but it does not help your headache. You see some empty shipping containers, abandoned forklifts, some still with pallets full of goods on them. Some small freighters peacefully bob in the water. It is almost serene, except for the dried blood that soaks many parts of the area.

You awake inside the main library of the city. It is full of knowledge and wisdom, romance and adventure, wonders of the past and possibilities of the future. All written upon the pages of the books all around you. However, your headaches won’t be helped by reading, and certainly not by the open Star Wars Encyclopedia some careless patron left open on a table next to the one you are seated at.
Any Force sensitives, once they gather themselves, realize that this world is dead to the Force. They cannot sense nor use it. All of you have dreamlike memories of a shadowlike figure and a blast of bright light, and then you woke up here. You wear no armor and have no weapons yet. All you have are civilian clothes. Try to find other survivors and remember: the worst enemies might not be the dead...
GAME'S ZONES:
ZONES:
Apartments: These areas held many people, most of which succumbed to infection. There is loot to be found here, but many undead stand between you and whatever you can scavenge.
Park: The Park is full of trees, plants, some animals, and undead. This zone has fewer undead, but little of note, except the Community Garden project the citizens of Zariah started a few months back.
Train Station: Once a transportation hub for the citizens of this ghost town, the large and opulent Train Station is now little more than a decaying building, filled with those comutters that were infected on Z Day..
Red Cross Center: This Zone is full of medical gear...and zombies. This Zone was where wounded were brought during the rise of the undead. And those wounded are now trying to kill the living.
Mall: Full of people on a regular basis, this zone still bustles with consumers. Except these consumers aren't looking for toys and gifts…
Minor Zones:
Grocery Store
Ice Rink
Halfway House
Library
Used Car lot
Police Station
Warehouse
