Special Features
  • A breath-taking statue.
  • Force Imbued.
  • Masterfully carved.
  • Made with pure alabaster Geminian Marble.

Strengths
  • The Wolf of the Dark Water: The statue sits guarding over the reflecting pool found within Dragonne Palace. The geminian marble has fed off of the Dark energies contained in the waters, and now acts as a focusing enhancer of the pool's properties.
  • The Thunderous Howl: The War's Dusk as been imbued to possess receptive and channeling properties that make it an artifact capable of propitiating and greatly strengthening Force Storms, when initiated by force users attuned to the Darkside and in the statue's proximity.
Weaknesses
  • Destruction: Made of Geminian marble, once the statue is broken its properties will be lost, never to be gained back unless a new statue using untainted geminian marble is built and imbued.
  • Force Nullifiers: Its Force-related properties will be lost if in the presence of a force nullifying object or within a force-negating field.
Description

To commemorate the creation of the non-aggression and trading pact known as the Winter & Spring Accord between the sovereign planets Illyria and Geminidae, a banquet was celebrated. It is on rare occasion that Geminidae found sufficient reason to look forward to and strike such a formal partnership with any entity foreign to their system, so given the relevance of the treaty and the generous invitation of the Illyrian monarchs to honour and rejoice in the creation of this pact, the geminian Sovereign, her Majesty Feyd-Serit saw it wise to follow the suggestion of Ambassador Palm-Imer and present the Illyrian monarchs with a gift.

Envisioned by Palm-Imer, the statue was carved from the finest block of alabaster Geminian Marble to produce a statue standing over three meters tall. The Ambassador reflected upon the statue's design that which she had seen and learned during her first visit to Illyria. Its property to strengthen and propitiate Force storms was inspired by the clouded skies of the Illyrian winter and its King's strong presence in the Dark-side. The amethysts-encrusted eyes which make the statue seem alive were also modeled after the monarch's, while the wolf itself stands, sword in its muzzle, as the crest of the royal house Malvern of Illyria.

The end result of her drawings and explanations was rendered by the most skilled hands of all Geminian sculptors, creating a gift worthy of being presented to King Adron Malvern Adron Malvern and Queen Alessandra Creed Alessandra Creed . It was named "The War's Dusk", for the arrival of the noble House and its conquest over Illyria would mark the end of a terrible story of never ending conflicts to finally bring Illyria into an era of progress and prosperity. On the rock upon which the wolf stands are carved the words of House Malvern: "We do what we must.", while the blade of the sword carried by the wolf was beautifully engraved with a phrase spoken by King Adron on his meeting with Ambassador Palm-Imer: "The Dark-side is fate, and the ability to change it.".
