- Fortress: The Utopia has been modified by The Elysium Empire to bring almost double the weaponry of a standard Victory-I class Star Destroyer, as well as increased shielding, making the ship an incredibly tough foe to conquer.
- Fully Armed: The Utopia has a variety of weapons, from Ion cannons to Turbolaser batteries, to concussion missiles. This means the ship has many options in combat, and limits the options for the opponent.
- Capital: The Utopia is the capital of The Elysium Empire. The King lives in the ship, and any long-distance negotiations are done from within the ship. It also houses a large portion of The Elysium Empire's population. Therefore the ship's cargo bay has been expanded to include more space for the civilians to live. However if given time to prepare, the civilians can be cleared out and the cargo hull can be used for transportation of troops, vehicles, and cargo.
- Slow: For a ship of its' size, The Utopia is slow and hard to maneuver, relying on shields and heavy weaponry to defend itself.
- Poorly Staffed: The Elysium Empire lacks officers, and military personnel, which often leaves ships understaffed, or in the case of The Utopia, poorly staffed. This leads to many mistakes and could prove fatal in combat.
Since the creation of The Elysium Empire, Victory-I star destroyer, The Utopia, has always been the flagship and in a way the capital of The Elysium Empire. The ship holds a large portion of The Elysium Empire's population and has been the home of king Heath Valhoun since he became king. However it is an extremely old and outdated ship. Thus King Heath Valhoun requested the ship to be upgraded. The upgrades included almost doubling the amount of weaponry, increasing the cargo-bay size to allow civilians to sleep on the ship, and adding more shielding.
With these upgrades, Heath Valhoun believes The Utopia is powerful enough to be a fortress of his Empire until they can conquer any real territory and expand their military.
