+ Shields and Armor + The shield system complements the armor of the vessel quite nicely, even sporting a cap drain system which feeds incoming energy back into the system for a healthy boost.
+ Armed + Any familiar with the base model will be surprised by the amount of offensive weapons aboard this vessel in place of the defensive ones.
+ Dock Wings + The use of docking clamps and access tubes through each "wing" allows for smaller vessels to dock without the same worries of internal space.
+ Speed + As with the base model, the ship is fairly quick for a vessel this size.
- Point Defense - This variation of the C-SOC carries greater firepower, but lacks any sort of point defense system for incoming missiles.
- Not a True Hangar - While the ship can hold two smaller vessels aboard each wing, the ships are exposed to any incoming fire that can reach the ship. As well, they can potentially block the ship from making landfall. If either wing is damaged, docking is no longer viable.
- Maneuvering - While fast, the ship is brickish when performing combat maneuvers and will easily be outdone by smaller vessels or vessels of similar size that are better able.
- Not a True Tractor Beam - The Grappler Tractor Beam is meant to slow down equally small ships, and capable of "holding on" as a means of adjusting course but cannot completely arrest other vessels.
- Access Doors - While measures have been taken to secure the external access doorways, keen and able persons can take advantage of the two external doors for boarding purposes.
A crew of two is optimal for this vessel though one being may fly it at decent operating capacity. A crew of twelve is the maximum as it allows for separate tasks to be completed with great ease. Wielding a healthy cargo capacity of 75 metric tons along with enough room to house two squads of mercenaries or 24 passengers.
This variation on the base model is noticeably up-armed and up-armored. Boasting a healthy anti-slicer system as well as advanced systems for communication and scrambling of outgoing transmissions. A mobile base of operation in its own right.
