[member="Tom Taff"]'s response garnered a small smile from my features as he spoke.
I drew in a long, subtle breath, taking a moment to myself before letting it out in a low sigh. The lungs of a bipedal creature always felt... slightly unusal compared to what I was used to. But I spent so long in this form that it was barely even a passing thought these days. And of course, as far as anyone here was concerned,
this was my only form. My true nature was perhaps my most closely guarded secret. I want to trust these people, those that I'd gathered from all over the galaxy. Perhaps, as time goes on, we shall grow closer, like a family, almost.
"Of course, my friend." I chuckled in response to the arms dealer. I clucked my tongue, inspecting the droids,
"I'll have some orders for you by the days' end, that's for sure."
Presently, I paused as a shadow fell over my left side. Sensing a familiar presence, I tilted my head around a little as [member="Shaun Castanic"] spoke, listening to him. Again, a minor smirk graced my lips as I greeted the man with a slight nod. His features were hidden beneath a mask, although his snowy hair betrayed his echani heritage. The second half of my sibling tag-team, he'd come as something of a surprise when I'd recruited his sister. Now, his presence was something I considered an insurance and a comfort, even if he still came up to me on the wrong side.
"Some days I'm a woman first, my pale friend," I replied coyly,
"and the Donna second. Shopping is shopping, after all."
I turned as an immaculately-dressed human with well-groomed facial hair approached me. About him wafted the aura of some subtle, expensive cologne. His movements were deliberate, commanding. [member="Death Adder"], like myself, had excellent command of himself, owning the space as he walked. The pirate approached me, taking my right hand and gently swooping down and placing a kiss upon it. I returned the gesture with a slight nod, lowering my eyes from his briefly,
"Death Adder." I replied to his greeting, the honey-sweetness still lacing my tone even as I raised an eyebrow,
"your company is always welcome."
He fell in step behind me. Now flanked by my two most trusted associates, I turned back to Tom,
"We're here to shoot things, yes? Well, the PR20 looks like fun, would you mind terribly?"
I gestured towards the plasma railgun with one slender hand.
