The Shadows' Awakening (SA vs SJO)

OOC Thread

The Shadows had been still for an age, the beings that had adopted the creed of subtly laying in a dormant slumber even as they prowled the galaxy in their public personas. Fear that had once stung at the hearts of those in the know, fear that drove them to flinch at every shift of movement within darkness, had begun to fade as the terrified whispers changed into rumour which, themselves, had begun to die off. However, slumber did not mean death, and, now, that slumber was coming to an end. Shadows around the galaxy were awakening and stirring, gathering towards Silver Jedi space as the call went out to one an all.

How long had it been since the call had lost been made? Years? But, now, the wait was no longer. Unseen, unheard and unnoticed the galaxy across, the shadow clad individuals were being pushed to action once more. They were everywhere and yet nowhere, but, now, the motto that had been branded upon them had meaning once more. The galaxy should have shook in fear as the hidden forces of Darkness were roused, but, as was their nature, the galaxy would not shake for none would know of their actions before it was too late. The Sith Assassins were back. Death, War, Conquest and Famine leading the charge, the Horseman Council acting once more as the spear head of their underlings.

Assassin Rooms, The Black Adder, Nar Shaddaa
Two Galactic Standard Weeks Earlier

Sitting in a stylish and soundproofed room, decorated with glass fixtures and leather sofas, was Darth Lykos - The White Assassin and Aspect of Conquest within the Sith Assassins. Clad only in his rudimentary, leather armour, his cloak tossed to one side for he had no need to play a role as none were with him, the Iridonia born Zabrak was pouring over report after report that he had lay, scattered, across a large, glass table. Next to the flimsiplast and datapads, his durasteel sabre, a unique item amidst a galaxy of lightsabers, rested next to a half-drunk tumbler of vanilla extract.

The reports before him detailed a collection of rumours and whispers as to a hidden Library space station under the ownership of the Silver Jedi and a holocron supposedly contained within a high security vault. The reason that the rumours had drawn the Zabrak's attention was simply. The holocron was rumoured to have belonged to a Sith Assassin Cult active during the Four Hundred Year Darkness. The fact that this holocron contained knowledge from the age of non-information was interesting enough, but, it supposedly containing knowledge from a long dead Sith Cult that had held the same focus as the Sith Assassins was enough to fully capture his focus and make him desire to have it - for himself and the Assassins.

However, the only problem he had found with that desire was that, despite his searching and a vast underground network, he had not been able to find any information on what defenses may be active within the station nor where it could be located. That was what had lead to his current pursuit of tracking down the origin of the rumours that had first caught his attention.

Eventually, he would lean back in his seat, a feral smirk pulling at scarred lips and twisting his disfigured face into something darker, as a sense of victory bloomed within him. Ossus. Home to a Jedi Temple and what near amounted to a fortress surrounding it. That was the origin and where he would, hopefully, find the information he so desired. The only hiccup he could see was that he would be incapable of performing the infiltration alone - well, he could, but it would not be easy. However, he did have a resource at his fingertips that had been long since dormant and it was about time that they would awaken. The Sith Assassins would make their active return to the galaxy at last.

"Gvibr." The single word would serve to summon a cloaked female from the shadows behind him as she strode forwards to stand at his side. "Contact the Council. Make sure they now I wish to speak to them all."

With a silent bow, Gvibr would leave on quiet footsteps to do as her Master had commanded as the Zabrak himself returned to his work. This time, however, he was researching the defenses on Ossus, readying a pitch to the Pale, Red and Black Assassins.

-----

Soon after a holocall would go out to every Assassin across the galaxy. Upon answering, they would be greeted with the appearance of a silhouette of a head as the figure spoke in a voice that was clearly scrambled to hide even their gender.

"The Assassins have been asleep. But, no more. It is time that we of the Shadows strike back at the Light, teach them to fear what they do not know and cannot see. Ossus, under the control of the Silvers, will be our target. We will launch our assault in a week and six days, Galactic Standard, at 0500 Ossus time. Coordinates, galactic and planetary, as to a meeting location as well as the time of the meet will be transmitted to you, plans will be discussed there. Remember: Nowhere, but Everywhere." Sure enough, the call would end and the Assassins would receive a message right after, detailing the promised location where the plan for the assault would be discussed.

Adega System, Near the Moon of Mim, Unnamed Phasma Class Infiltrator
0447 Ossus Time, Present
Objective: Team B

Stood before the holocommunicator at the back of his ship, Darth Lykos was prepared for combat as he awaited the check in of the Assassins. He wore no armour beyond his rudimentary leather armour and the cloak atop of it. Nor did he bear any unique weapons beyond the poison tipped throwing needles at his waist. His preparations were solely within the Force, proving why he was one of the Council of Assassins. Through the combined use of Force Stealth, Quey'tek and even Art of the Small, he might not even have a Presence within the Force; even his intentions were prevented from being broadcasted through the mask created through Quey'tek.

Behind him, Gvibr stood, his Shadow and loyal Hand, the cloak she had worn at The Black Adder still draped across her shoulders and a porcelain mask covering her face, hiding her features.

He held no worry about whether or not his ship would be detected. After all, the Phamas had been created for the sole purposes of stealth and speed and not much else. Outfitted with a variety of stealth systems, the most impressive of which was the Stygium powered Cloaking, it was hard for the Phasma to be detected at the best of times. And, currently, every system was running at full strength in preperation for a smooth and unnoticed entry of Ossus' atmosphere. After all, why would one go in, guns blazing, when it was of greater benefit to ensure that you were never seen, never noticed, until the last moment.

Soon, the Assassins would be assigned their objectives and their assault upon the Jedi Temple on Ossus would begin. Soon, the Shadows of the Galaxy would awake.

A hailing call came down to the Jedi Temple of Ossus as a vessel dropped from hyperspace into the upper atmosphere. Aboard the ship was several Jedi standing around dressed in brown cloaks, with one standing at the helm ahead of the rest. The human had a holocom active, the source of the hailing call. "This is Jedi Master Namto of the Galactic Alliance. We're looking to land in the nearby settlement and see about talking with any high ranking Silver Jedi to discuss the new Sith threat forming just outside Silver territory." It was a simple hail and the human would release the button as he leaned back in his chair.

A red-haired woman could be seen on the vessel that had dropped from hyperspace into the atmosphere of the Adega System alongside the man who had made his presence known through a holocall. That man had introduced himself as Jedi Master Namto and if the woman had introduced herself as well they would have been given the name Jedi knight Tava. When the call closed she moved back towards where she was sitting before and went back to meditating, awaiting the ship to land.

On the vessel there was only one person the redhead knew, and that was Master Namto. The others she had not met before but in the end that didn't matter, they were here for the same reason and that would suffice. Throughout the trip she had been silent and mostly been keeping to herself, only speaking with Master Namto from time to time when he had come to her to speak. She simply saw no reason to speak to anyone else. Patiently she waited for the time to get to work to arrive and until then her eyes would remain closed and her mind turned inwards.

In the wee hours of the morning before dawn, many of the residents of Ossus temple, and the personnel on rotation at Aegis Base would still be sleeping. Arisa would be wide awake, however, the roving grandmaster working off of GST. She was currently in her office, reviewing reports ahead of a meeting in a few hours with her local counterparts. War with the Resurgent Empire now seemed all but certain, and the border planets near the fringes of RE space needed to be prepared. Especially Ossus, which was always the source of special attention because of its historical significance to the Jedi.

Arisa looked up from her datapad as she felt a presence approach the door, then there would come a soft knock.

"Please enter," she called out.

On the other side of the door would be rather stern looking Echani, Master Corana Lee. She entered the room as requested, soundlessly gliding over the floor with that renown Echani grace, then standing beside a chair in front of Arisa's desk until she was motioned to sit.

"Good morning, Master Lee. How may I help you today?"

"Good morning, Master Yune. About 10 minutes ago, we received a transmission over open comms by some lone vessel that appeared near our airspace. The sender is claiming to a Jedi Master Namto of the New Jedi Order. He specifically asked for a ranking member of the Silver Order to meet him at a nearby settlement, by which I'm assuming he meant Espa. Here's the full recording."

Lee then brought out a small black datapad to playback a recording of the transmission to Arisa. As Arisa listened, she began frowning, all sorts of warning bells going off. The SJO and NJO weren't exactly on the best of terms, but all NJO members were allowed to pass through the Ossus temple unmolested provided they cleared certain security checks. As with the Silver Temple on Voss, the Ossus temple was open to all Jedi. Even if that weren't the case, she didn't understand why they wouldn't try to arrange a meeting directly at the temple itself. People must think we were born yesterday.

"Alright, contact our good Master Namto, and inform him that he's free to land at the southern airfield outside Aegis. Then have we'll have someone meet him out there after he lands. Let him know that Espa or wherever he wants to meet isn't a good location as the municipal government isn't even operating right now outside some essential services. Finally, ask them why he just didn't call ahead to arrange a meeting before their arrival."

"Yes ma'am, I'll get right on it." Lee raised her datapad pad near her lips to issue a transmission on the same frequency used by Namto, relaying everything Arisa said as if her own words. Now they would wait to see if Namto would comply with Lee.

Adega System, Near the moon Nim - Phasma Class Inflitator [0447 Ossus Time, Team B]

Not to long ago, beyond the edges of the Adega system, there had been a sensory event that even on a closer look was indistinguishable from the noise generated by the countless stars that drifted through the endless emptiness. For just a moment the Eldritch, the bane of the Black Sea and personal command ship of the Black Assassin, had revealed from below the shadows and released a small stealth vessel into the darkness with a course set to Ossus.

The Aspect of Famine was known among his peers to be rather reluctant when it came to acting directly. He was an emissary of chaos, a lord of trickery and deception and not just a hidden blade hunting in the shadows. Yet for once the eldritch husk was intrigued by the proposal of his fellow councilman and acolyte brother [member="Darth Lykos"]. The Mindeater was many things, but above all he was a seeker and guardian of ancient knowledge. The thought of the jedi clawing their worthless hands into an artifact filled with ages old wisdom on the path of the sith was enough to awake the twisted entity from his dormant rest in his cursed, drowned halls below the black sea of Katarr and call his tainted powers into the service of the obscured shadow society that he watched over.

Silently the ship descended towards the atmosphere of Ossus, piloted by Abyss personal A.I. Glory. In the back of the vessel rested the full, wretched might of the Mindeater. An empty husk, twisted, deformed metal only kept together by obsessive hunger and ancient, forbidden alchemy. Hollow eyes, only black holes in the wooden mask that rested above the fixed metal grin of eternal mockery, and right below the anarchic crown composed out of metal bits and crystal splitters tied together. Below the ragged black robe that shrouded the strange, nature defying being was a myriad of hidden tools and weapons, each of them a deadly messenger of the unseen power of the assassins.

As the ship moved closer and closer to its target, the Mindeater called upon the dark side, the cursed blessing thatr had granted him his claim to transcendence. His aura was reduced to nothing, as was the visual image of the husk that stood absolutely motionless. Soon the light would remember why the shadows had once struck fear in every soul they touched.

Tucked away in her quarters, Valae Kitra was fast asleep. The Jedi healer was deep in the world of dreams, blissfully unaware of what the day would bring. However, a quiet knocking would bring her back to the waking world. As she opened her eyes, her gaze shifted towards the door. Though she was still quite tired, she immediately knew the presence outside her room. It was Celeste Rigel, a fellow healer and member of the Silver Circle.

"Master Kitra," her voice called, "Just thought you ought to know -- it's here."

Her eyes widened just slightly, and she sat up right away.

"Thanks -- I'll be right there." Valae responded, raising her voice just slightly.

Quickly jumping out of bed, Valae shuffled to get ready. She gave her face a quick splash with cold water, and then ran her wet fingers through her wavy hair. Next, she dressed in a beige tunic and trousers, and covered the ensemble with a brown robe. She set her saber onto her belt -- mostly worn as a symbolic gesture these days, as she rarely used it. The grip of sleep had already let go, and she emerged refreshed.

Out in the hallway, she glanced towards the healing halls of Ossus temple.

It was nice to be here again. Valae would always have fond memories of the temple, the memories of her first trip here still stuck out in her mind. And today, she was expecting an important delivery... an Adegan crystal that had been excavated from the caves nearby. These caves still lived in her memories, too. For the crystal in her own saber had been found there as a padawan. But this cluster of crystals would serve a very special purpose. Together, she and her fellow healers would attune this cluster and create a powerful healing crystal. It would be an emblem of the healing halls, and an aid to any in need.

Her worn out boots took off down the hall, a bounce in her steps.

"Ma'am? All systems are prepared for the descent to Ossus." A man sat in the pilot's seat of the Infiltrator, his tone clipped and professional. Leliana on the hand was near the back of the ship, standing before the holocommunicator waiting, as well as fiddling with the wrist of her coat. While she was quite adept in flying, Leliana wasn't completely use to the various systems of the Phasma, and as such assigned a more experienced pilot to take the reins for this mission.

"Excellent. Open a secure line to the other assassins." Leliana was dressed in her usual outfit, opting to forgo any significant armour for a more light and fast approach. She did however have to make some slight adjustments to the left wrist to accommodate the new hidden blade. Her lightsaber hung to the right side of her belt, while one dagger rested beside it and the other on her left. While her personal shield rested comfortably at the back and remainder of her equipment was neatly held in the empty spaces in-between.

This would be her first proper mission with the Sith Assassins. She had been guided away from the facility that had been her life for so long, and pulled into the shadows of the Pale Assassin. What [member="Darth Ophidia"] had taught would go a long way in this mission. Leliana closed her eyes and exhaled once, focusing to minimize her presence in the Force to the best of her ability. The sooner she could reach her objective without alerting anyone, the better.

The holocommunicator blipped on, and the profile of Darth Lykos appeared on the screen, just as she did to his and the others.

"Leliana reporting in."

She was ready.

How long had Belgerath been in this cell again? Longer then he would like to think about. The One Sith had fallen, the Assassins presumably scattered to the winds for a time after. It wasn't just the One Sith either, many other nations had fallen and seemingly just as many risen. Normally he would have been out in the thick of all that. But he had run into the wrong enemy. It only took that single engagement to get him landed here. Granted, there was not much he could have done about that fight. She had been to strong to run away from, yet to strong for him to fight. There wasn't much more he could do then curse his bad luck and wait for a chance to get out of this place. But that was going to be far harder then it sounded. The Military base alone Belgerath might have managed to manage an escape on his own, but that along with the Jedi Temple nearby? Even if he had not lost his left arm that would have been at best a long stretch.

But he had not been complacent in his time here. He had done his best to learn what little he could of the facility, though outside of the area of the detention facility he had not found much. Belgerath had managed to keep his body in shape and more or less worked through all the damage he had taken in his fight. Though his legs had this tendency to ache when there were particularly nasty storms about, a side effect of the lightning bolt his legs had been hit by. His legs even still had the scars caused by that strike, though after having trained and exercised the scar tissue no longer got in the way with movement and agility at least. While those were small accomplishments, they were not nothing.

As for what he was doing right now, Belgerath was sitting with his legs stretched out and back to the wall on the bed in the prison. There was not much he could do at the moment besides thinking and he had done plenty of that already. There was not anything he could reliably try to smuggle in and getting message out was proving to be more difficult then expected. That being the case, he just kept his mind sharp and ready. Luck had the possibility of suprising people for good and for bad so for the moment, being ready for such a stroke of luck was the best he could do.

Jedi.
They were the bane of their own existence, constantly seeking their own identity. They were lost, foolish, and brainwashed in their ways. It was odd to consider such and enemy a problem, but they were a stubborn bunch. For decades the two sides had been at war. Each struggling to fully exterminate the other; although as long as the dark side and light side remained, neither would falter or give quarter to the other. At least, until now.
The only thing that could disrupt such an endless war would be something that remained unseen. They were a talented group, trained in the deepest and darkest areas of the galaxy, silently waiting for their next emergence. They were unpredictable and in any case didn't exist, but also were very much alive. The whole time the sith assassins had been lying dormant, they were steadily pulling strings planet to planet. Eliminating anyone and everything that was in their way, if not for them, the Jedi would have been stronger than they were now. Still, they remained a threat. The Jedi had a holocron in their possession that belonged to the sith assassins and they were here to claim their rightful item.
The smooth weightless cruise that brought Orion through space was all due to the newly acquired ship. It was a Jedi Vessel the central hull providing plenty of room for those dressed like Jedi to prepare for the descent. Among those fitted and tailored were Orion, Krest and a sith knight who went by Kaalia. Only those names meant nothing today, today they each were someone new and different. For his master, was now a Jedi Master Namto. The red headed female that stood silently most of the trip was a Jedi Knight named Tava. For Orion; his name would be Jedi Apprentice Vin. Not only was his name different for sake of success of the mission but he looked like a padawan too. He felt disgusted at such a thought, but being disguised was the perfect plan. The Jedi would have no reason to heed the words of his Jedi Master Namto, mainly because their was a sith threat...
Them.
The ship would arrive at the designated place for the Jedi to meet and when they did, the world would tremble at the hands of pure darkness and in one swift action the Sith Assassins would set their mark on the galaxy once again.

Master 'Namto' nodded along at the responses, stroking his rather large beard in silence for a moment. "That will do. I will explain in person why exactly I did not contact you before hand. I appreciate you taking the time." The call with [member="Arisa Yune"] 's fellow master would end with a click, and the holodisguise would flicker for a moment as Krest turned to face both of his apprentices, and the other Assassins who had joined him.

"Our mission is simple. Create havoc, and keep their attention on us. We move on the explosion." There was a smile on Master Namto's face as the disguise stabilized again, and the ship would make it's way to the spaceport as asked by the Grandmaster's assistant. The Assassins were very co-operative after all.

Yuroic wandered through the halls of Ossus's temple. He had arrived here with his Master and decided to learn what he could about the Jedi of old. There wasn't much in the library that he couldn't learn from the temple of Voss but the new surroundings were also a pleasant change of pace. He sitting, reading a book on Exar Kun and his time as a Jedi, though the man later became a Sith Lord, Yuroic was intrigued in his use of Niman. He was apparently one of the most skilled duellist the Jedi ever had, Yuroic figured there were a list of Jedi and Sith that were impressive in their Forms. He had written a list on the pad he was currently working on.

Notes on preferred practitioners:
Form I - Kit Fisto, Jedi Master of Clone Wars era. Form II - Count Dooku, later known as Darth Tyranus, Sith Lord during Clone Wars era. Form III - Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master of Clone Wars era. Form IV - Yoda, Grand Master of Clone Wars era. Form V - Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight of Clone Wars era. Form VI - Exar Kun, Jedi Knight and later Sith Lord of Old Sith Wars era. Form VII - Vaapad, Mace Windo, Master of the Order just before Clone Wars. Juyo, Darth Maul, Sith Lord just before Clone Wars.

Yuroic gazed over the datapad another time before deciding he would have to look into why most of his choices were from the Clone Wars era. Though, that said, Niman was his new form and he had found a few practitioners he would have liked to study from due to their skill in the Form. However, he decided he should check in with his Master, see if she needed him for anything. He just hoped he wouldn't be on another sandwich run, one can only make so many BLTs before his mind goes crazy. Sandwich maker was not what he signed up for.

Two weeks ago:

Remember: Nowhere, but Everywhere.

A smile curled over the painted lips of the Pale Assassin, her burning eyes set their gaze upon a bastardised version of familiar ships; A vestige of a war long lost, now in the service of pirates and mutineers. She had seen such ships floating in rings of wreckage after conquests, shredded under the talons of the One Sith. How any still remained after such thorough defeat, it was a marvel. It was unmarked, repainted, and kept in just good enough shape for piracy.

"I have just what we need."

She gazed upon pirate ship and thought wicked thoughts.

Pirate Vessel: The Pracasi Correllia
En route to Ossus

It was no easy task to keep more than one person under one's permanent influence, even for a Sith Lord. It demanded complete attention to override their sense of self and take command of their hatred. These men and women had much hatred, and Ophidia had indeed seized a hold of their commanding officers, whispering poisonous words into their ears and tainting their hearts with the dark side. They were restless, bloodthirsty, borderline suicidal, and they demanded her full attention to keep in line.

The ship, the Pracasi Correllia, had its snout turned to Ossus; theirs was a dangerous mission and the timing had to be just right. Too soon would spell disaster, too late would be a wasted opportunity, but in the middle the iron was hot and ready for striking. They would have no second chances, and Ophidia herself put her life on the line in this gambit

Success or death.

So the Pale Assassin had secluded herself in the room once used for the meditation of Jedi. Now it was a place of silence she went to exact her mental grip upon the captain and his closest. Arduous, but not beyond her grasp. She was Darth Ophidia, not some pretender with more titles than sense. By her will, these men would die for the glory of the Sith Assassins.

Ossus Restricted Archives

James sat in the dark pouring over Restricted Access archives about the history of the Jedi, gathering intel for his own collection. The time had slipped by him, he knew it was already morning. James felt the edges of exhaustion from lack of sleep, but the excitement of learning his Order's history was empowering like a cup of the strongest Caf.

He sat back, rubbing his brow, his Shadow mask lay on the desktop against his lightsabers. The days were longer now that he was out of the combat scenes, gathering knowledge left little time for relationships and his fellow Jedi knew little about him. James was known by the few who recognized his form, as the Scholar of the Wanderer. Maybe after today he would introduce himself.

Colonel Valkren Calderon sat behind his desk in the Antarian Ranger's Command building at Aegis Base, Ossus. It wasn't the desk he had back at Voss, but even then he didn't spend much time being a pencil pusher. Yet, here he was, emotionless in nature as the young officer looked over the paperwork on his desk.

"Sir?"

A voice pierced the silence, but was almost muffled to Valkren's hearing; his eyes still glued to the files before him. The first folder on the stack had yet to be opened yet, it's content and information that would be inserted into his personal computer waiting to be discovered. Yet, Valkren could not remove his eyes from the label on the top of it all.

Ord Radama.

"Sir!" At this second call for attention, Calderon broke away from his trance to look up. What the young colonel would be greeted with was an intel officer working within the Rangers, holding another pad that obviously had something urgent for Valkren on it.

"Lowder..Sorry about that, still catching up on some much needed rest after the last op." Colonel Calderon stated this as he rose from his seat, his appearance almost messy if one wished to call it that. His fatigue top was unbuttoned, displaying a 'Rangers' tank-top underneath with dog tags to go along, which was the only thing hiding the mass of inkings and tattoos that covered his upper body. His bottoms were still tucked into his boots, as if ready for a mission; only a few feet up from his boots was a Verpine shatter pistol resting gently in Valk's drop holster on his right leg. He moved the intel specialist out into the hall, where Valkren then took the pad from him.

"What's this?" Valkren questioned the ranger as he scrolled through a list of faces and names on the data pad he had received.

"New volunteers, sir. They're to arrive at Voss soon."

The colonel cocked a brow momentarily as he continued to scroll, "Volunteers today, Rangers tomorrow.." This quote would come out almost out of habit, as if the knowledge of the Colonel's experience with the enlisted was extensive. Previously being enlisted in the Republic army before his time with the special forces, and during his leadership career currently, he had seen many of the 'volunteers' come and go. It was a common thing though; death was common in war as it is in life..Which calls for more volunteers. He wished there was more he could do about it, but it simply couldn't be helped. Even he was replaceable in the end. Valkren could only try and keep his people safe.

He'd push the pad back into the other rangers' arms before turning to make his way out of the building he was in. The colonel needed to clear his head, fresh air perhaps.

"Sir, you'll need to verify their background checks!" The intel specialist's voice trailed off as Valkren made his way out into the open air, just to stand in one of the embedded trenches that overlooked the temple beside them. The colonel knew that the officer would just put the orders on his desk, as most of the Antarian Rangers knew that he was no pencil-pusher. Most of the time any assistant assigned to his command center would leave what files needed to be filled out on his desk, it gave him some freedom.

Calderon shifted his weight idly as he scanned over the temple, or at least what parts of it he could see from his position. He was curious where the rest of the Silver Jedi's delegation, and his friends, were located at.

He was curious where the Grandmaster was.

Valkren simply blinked as he moved his gaze to the shield that was generated around the base, taking a moment to fish out a pack of cigarettes from one of his pockets. It was enjoyable to rest once in awhile.

Ailuros had been given an assignment to Ossus for the time being. What a pilot was doing on the ground was beyond her comprehension, but she followed her orders.

The temple and grounds here were different than those of Voss, but that was okay with her. Walking out into the garden, the Trianni took a deep breath of the fresh air and started in on her rounds of the grounds.

Currently the garden was her favorite area since it was about the only place where she could find nature. It might be tended and not wild, but nature none the less. The night was almost over and the night animals were searching out their resting areas. The flowers had yet to open to welcome the day and the birds chirping was just starting.

Wearing only her belt of tools and weapon, Ailuros walked along a path in the garden and approached the herb section to see if any of it was ready to harvest. She considered herself a connoisseur of certain herbs and was looking forward to the day when the cat mint and cat nip were ready. There were other lesser known herbs that were also grown and Ailuros knew them all. Cat's claw, dandelionroot, cat thyme, goldenseal and even some humans liked such as licorice root, peppermint, chamomile and rosemary.

The licorice she left alone, but nobody actually liked dandelions growing so she found as many as she could find and picked them. Then cut off carefully a small sampling of leaves from the other plants. Taking a small bag out of her belt, she put the leaves she had cut into it and would check them when she got back inside. Effects of the herbs would vary from heightening her reaction speed to putting her sleep. Sleep had never really been an issue for the cat though and any chance she took, she napped.

Finishing her round of the garden, Ailuros started heading back inside.

The Kushiban was adjusting to local time. He was only here for a day or two to pick up supplies to ferry to the relief efforts on Kushibah. Those Sith attacking a small farming world just didn't make any sense to him. Kushiban weren't much of a threat to anyone and the planet had almost no strategic importance. Yet for some reason the Sith had deployed a giant ship over it. It just didn't make sense and he intended to find out why they had.

Hopping onto a seat in the cantina of the temple he sipped on a hot mug of coffee. Fishing a datapad out of a pouch on his belt he eyed the sensor data that had been collected. Not a tactician himself it seemed off though how the large caliber rounds from the Jedi fleet had simply been absorbed by the shields. It was odd, normally shields would dip significantly after such a salvo if not have been eliminated completely. He'd have to check but it might be possible to lessen the impacts of solid rounds with the force. It didn't seem practical but reports from the various force users involved in the battle overhead seemed to indicate it was a dark side nexus of some sort.

Ears drooping back as he concentrated he adjusted the display on the datapad. The ship itself seemed to be organic and it's outer hull seemed to be fairly thick. This couldn't be practical, the constant extremes of heat and freezing temperatures would surely badly affect how strong it would be over time unless they constantly repaired and replaced parts of it. If it was living he supposed it could regenerate however this would mean constantly leaving pieces of dead matter behind. This would leave a vulnerability in combat unless...

Setting down his datapad he fished out his com link. Turning it on he set it down in front of him and put in a call to Master Arisa. While he might be somewhat weak in the force he knew a fair amount about it. The idea he had might just work, of course he had no idea how it would and he'd leave it's implementation to more experienced individuals. If it could work however they should be able to eliminate any sort of regeneration and other nasty surprises this ship may have.

Objective: Team A
Allies: @Krest @Kaalia Voldaren [member="Orion Darkstar"]
Enemies: Slivers and Allies
Equipment: Battle Armour, Saber staff, Healing Amulet

She sat on the ship heading to temple, she meditating waiting for time to strike. She knew the plan, destroy as much as possible. This was easy enough, the hard bit was escaping the battle before they became overwhelmed. She trusted Krest to get their safely, but she trusted no sith to get them out again. That was down to individual prowess, and if she feel behind when it was time to run, she be left behind, but then again she leave others behind as well.

She was adorned in her Battle Armour, and had personal saber staff by her side, and a healing amulet around her neck. She was using the amulet as she meditated, she was getting rid of niggling aches or pains she had. Then she got up, and did some stretches, to warm up her muscles ready for the fight to begin. This day will be remembered for something, let's hope it was chaos they sowed.

The jedi wookie would sit in the garden, quietly watching the cat roam about. He didn't seem to have any armor at all, but his hands rested on the pommel of his kanabo. The 120 self-taught beast of a man would just get up, and walk to the cat, before sitting down. Thankfully, he had taken a nap, so he was ready for the day. He would begin to speak Wookienese, as he understood she wasn't a wookie herself, a voice talked softly in her head. The voice of what seemed to be a great philosopher, or that voice from Civ 5 when you do some sort of research or wonder. "Hello. It seems we both enjoy the sight of the living, rather the dead, what is your name, young one?"

Arisa listened along to the brief exchange between Lee and Namto, hearing that he would indeed comply with instructions. Thinking about what to do next, she glanced over Lee a few times until an idea struck her.

"Would you mind standing?" Arisa asked as she rose from her chair.

"Alright?" Lee said, looking a tad puzzled.

Now both standing, Arisa sized up Lee. The Echani had a few centimeters on her, but they both appeared to be of a similar lean build. Lee would continue with that same puzzled expression until Arisa explained herself.

"I think I would like to speak with Namto for myself, but I don't want anyone to know that I've left the temple proper. So I'll be standing in for you under disguise. If you would, please join me in the armory."

As she made her way out to the hall with Lee, she received a call from Mabbik on her datapad. At that moment, she recalled he had been helping her review combat footage from their last fight with the Resurgent Empire, specifically of the strange Sith warship currently designated "Twizzler". An unholy melding of machine and magic that could prove quite troublesome in future encounters without proper countermeasures.

"Hello, Mabbik. Why don't you come meet down in the armory? I have something to share."

About fifteen minutes later, Arisa made her way to the airfield by air speeder, with Mabbik in tow. Using a neogllith masquer and a voice emulator, the last active Shadow of the Silver Order was now the spitting image of Master Lee whilst dressed in her robes. The whole ride over, she was wracked by prickly sensations all over her body and down her throat as each item finished adjusting to her form.

"I have my suspicions about these incoming 'Jedi', but for now, I want you to play it cool with me," she instructed her Kushiban counterpart. She felt like a stranger in her own body, speaking in a voice totally alien to her own. " For now, you are present to simply listen and observe. Do nothing else unless I say."

Once she arrived, she slipped out of the speeder and stood over the tarmac, silver robes shimmering under the harsh floodlights that illuminated the scene. Her left hand rested upon the hilt of an Echani foil slung to her hip as she approached Namto's ship near the center of the airfield, Master Lee being known to favor solid swords over lightsabers. However, under the robes, she was bristling with additional weapons more suited to her personal combat style.

Now it was finally time to see what the fuss was about. Arisa hoped that it turned out to be nothing, but as the Silver Order constantly found itself marauded by its various adversaries, one could never be too careful.

((OOC note, wearing a Sigil of Hope under my robes. Just wanted to point that out so that characters that may be affected know to register its use.))
