The S'ar Kni treasure

Kash gave [member="Thraxis"] a long look, full of measured consideration, then shrugged and raised her hand. Sparks crackled around her fingers. A torrent of green lightning snapped out from her hand, closing in around him like claws or a cage. Lightning was far from her specialty, but any Sith Lord worth her salt could make it happen if necessary, and Kash was worth a respectable quantity of salt indeed. She poured a cold and condescending fury into the Force, and reaped the energy for a fairly impressive amount of lightning, enough to shred war droids en masse or make a Jedi grovel. Considering Thraxis was in his own little world, on his knees, smashing his forearms into the ground, his odds of evading the blast were, in her professional opinion...less than good.

She gave the blast a good couple of seconds, enough to smarten him up (if it hit) but not enough to cripple him, then stopped.

"Less dull for you?"

The weequay stepped carefully into the room, he clutched his vibro-glaive tight causing his knuckles to whiten. While the others kept talking Ka-Aver started to examine the perimeter of the room. Here and there were obvious marks of this being an excavated cave. there... Tracks... Leading in behind that wall... he turned to announce his discovery but halted as the witch let out her lightning toward thraxis.
Ka-Aver tensed and readied his body for battle, like a tiger ready to leap he watched the witch intensly as he awaited the Jackals reaction.

It was a sharp incline to his movements, long disjointed arks of his leg's finished with the bygone sound of pistons, there was a snap and a sharp scratching sound as his pointed digits ran rings on the palm of his hand, there was a snap and wisping vaporous tails of steam rose up and out of the respirator curling into intricate patterns of tangible air. "Witch." it was than he rose his hand towards [member="Zhol Kash Dinora"], there was a tremor to the surrounding air and the sound and hum of cybernetics. The flat of his hand straightened and round cylindrical component making breaks in the palms, long wires crisscrossed its way over the hand, it was a shock_glove to those who knew what it was. "You forget your place." there was a crunch as one of his pronged toes took out a gouge of the earth leaving a miniscule hole. "Cadan, pick Thraxis up. And attend to the wall, I want it destroyed now."

Thraxis would feel the impact, his mind momentarily lost in the shocking awakening, "ARRRGGGHHHH..." he would scream angered by her shock, once it ended he was in pain, though his pride kept him from allowing himself to be carried by [member="Cadan Tazi"], dragging himself back to his feet, though the scorching agony did not make it easy. "Damned witch..." he would mutter, though with the absence of boredom came unbridled anger, he was ready to pounce when a phrase he had long since forgotten returned to him mind, "Keep moving, your pride may be cheap, but is your life?", those were the words that kept his hand at bay from unloading a storm of laser at her.

Cadan would bring his rifle up as soon as the Sith let out her attack. His finger was hovering just over the trigger, with the slightest touch he would have launched a bombardment of shots onto the Sith. Luckily Cadan's boss didn't give him the order to fire. Lowering his weapon he would approach Thraxis after he got up.

He would then turn to Zhol. "Your lucky we might need you further on." He scoffed as he moved to place a charge on the wall. Setting the charge and stepping back. "Best get back."

Ka-Aver kept his at ready stance during the entire scene. He was an able Close combat fighter but was unsure if he would be a match for a sith. together they should be able to bring her down if she crossed the line he figured.

As Cadan placed the explosives Ka-Aver moved to the far side of the room, keeping an Eye on Flannigan Mcnash - the Jackal leader seemed competent but if the witch made any move he would be prepared to back him.

The explossion caused the Cave to shake, stones and splinters flew across the area. Ka-Aver was hit by something hard in the chest and flew back into the wall, momentarily stunned. Stones fell from the roof as well, one crushing the console in the center of the room.
For a moment Ka-Aver thought the entire mountain would collapse but then the tremors seized. A large dark cloud of smoke and dust moved quickly to cover them all. Coughing Ka-Aver pushed the stone ontop of his chest aside and supporting himself against the wall he rose peering through the darkness.

Around him he could hear the others coughing and low mumble. He was at least not the sole survivor.

Turning his head toward the wall the dust settled. A room behind opened up and Ka-Aver gasped. Ancient emergency lights were lit, some blinking but still providing enough to shed light to the next room.

It was larger then expected. A hidden hangar, the shiluette of a ship, benches, computers and rows of lockers and shelves. A long row of strange looking idols and urns invaded them from floor to roof.

The Weequay did not smile often but this was one of those moments. Ka-Aver took a step forward with Eyes gleaming. This must be the S'ar Kni treasure. The boss had been right after all.

WHIZZLE!

The beam hit Ka-Aver in the chest and he was again thrown back. Two blue dots lit up inside the hangar Cave. A machine of ancient Construction started to rise from a crouched position. Arms and legs(?) unfolded into something the Group had not expected. The ray had eminated from the Machines head. Now two rapid firing blasters unlocked from its shoulders. The Group only had time to blink Before it opened fire and sprayed them all in a lethal shower of laser.

She couldn't restrain a chuckle at the sight of the shock glove. "Terrifying," she murmured, lips quirking in a grin, and brought up her free hand. A semicircular shield of green light took the brunt of the breach charge's debris; the blast ruffled her clothes and blew back her red hood, revealing a stern, wry face, scarred along the cheeks and prone to a sneer. Her hair was fully gray, and her eyes had the yellow cast of a Sith.

The shield stayed up as the guardian droid opened fire. Stray fire slapped against the green hemisphere. One hand outstretched to hold the shield up, Kash knelt beside the fallen Ka-Aver. A spell took form in her mind, almost the only serious piece of Sith magic she knew but one she knew intimately. She snarled out the words and felt the fabric of reality twist itself to her will via the Dark Side of the Force. Crippling pain would lance through the Weequay as the powers of the Sith fixed his wounds comprehensively, much as the spirit of Freedon Nadd had once done to the broken Exar Kun. The spell of healing took effort, and it would exhaust her to repeat it too often, but for the moment it was power she could spare. She spoke the final syllables of ancient Kittat and punctuated it with-

"BE HEALED."

Ka-Avers body shock at Zhols sorcery. His Eyes opened wide and a shriek escaped his dry lips. Staring at the ceiling he gazed upon the witch with pleading Eyes,

"make... it ztops...pleaze.. "
he managed in between groans of pain. vaguely he noticed the mysitcal barrier shielding them all from the onslaught of the ancient protector. He also noticed that the droids beam weapon soon would be recharged. I wonder if the witch shield van hold that as well... he managed somewhere in the back alies of his mind.

The shock wave cause Cadan to slightly stagger but that was it. Cadan sighed as the man was hit by the rock from the exposion. "That's why you stand back." He said although he knew that the man ran to the end of the room.

Next thing Cadan knew a laser caught him in his right shoulder, lucky for him his Red Raven Shot Caller armour took the impact of the hit. Cadan quickly slugged around his Red Raven Gauss Rifle and looked down the Augmented Shooting Sight, through the site he saw the enemy but had no time to fire as the machine let loose a barrage of lasers. Quickly Cadan ducked for cover hiding behind some debris waiting for the idea moment to shoot.

Thraxis was still fatigued by the shocking awakening that he took from [member="Zhol Kash Dinora"], and to see the blast of lasers came flying at him, only made things worse, it took a while to register what was just happening, enough time for both his left and right shoulder to be shot by the hail of lasers, he screamed in pain, though forced himself to jump behind the nearest boulder, an exhausting task for someone in his state, though he made it in time before he could be blasted anymore.
As he laid behind the boulder, he had to bite down on one of his Blasters, trying his best not to scream in agony as he held both his arms, the searing pain of the blaster ached his body, forcing him into a state of uselessness for the time.

Ka-Aver rose, leaning heavily on his long shafted Glaive. He inclined his head to the witch holding the shield up.

"Weequay offerz gratitude witch... " he hissed then turned around.

With a slightly limp arm he pulled out a pouch dangling from one of the many leather strings attached to his neck and chest.

Grabbing it with his teeth he bit it open and swallowed its narcotic content. His body reacted immideately and shook in resentment for a few seconds. Then he threw his head back and roared out the pain. His eyes turnd black and a long drool dripped from his mouth. With that he grabbed his glaive and with an impressive leap he threw himself across the room, a blast hitting his left shoulder on the way, but his body was ignoring it, he just kept going and with strength pulled from the drug pulsuating in his system he smashee the glaive ontop of the droids head. The beam generator exploded upon impact.

Ka-Aver grew a maddened grin staring at his deed. The moment was enough for the droid - its left arm swinging downward and across the Weequays feet and the right one topping from the other direction Ka-Aver was hit as a pinball. Even with his narcotics broken bones would not lift his body. The droids beam weapon was broken and he had given the group some time but Ka-Aver was no longer a threat to the droid as it were. if given time it would most likely finish him.

As Cadan watched the feet performed by Ka-Aver, his mouth dropped. Perhaps we should get Thraxis some of those drugs, he thought to himself. But he had no time to think about anything as the Ka-Aver was about to be killed.

Cadan popped out from his cover, aiming down his sight. He sighted for the chest region of the droid. When he had that in sight his finger squeeze the trigger letting out a storm of bullets. The bullets pierced the 'exoskeleton' of the droid and reaped havoc for the circuits inside, hitting a wire here and hitting a circuit board there. Cadan quickly ducked behind his cover once more, before he could be hit.

The droid began to stagger abit, loosing control of one of it's legs. This movement caused it to lose focus on Ka-Aver, and turn towards Cadan. The droid fired with it's right arm, the lasers splitting the air. Lucky for Cadan he was down in cover, thus he spared his shoulders from being shot.

It was with a twist of the leg a rotation to the spine, the pronged feet scuffing the ground as it rose and fell in a 'thud-um' like sound. He moved behind a rocky out-cove, his frame poking out with the rocky growth. "[member="Thraxis"], take that thing out." he shouted, his hand going to his vibro-blade. "Now!"

Thraxis would look to him, his eyes wide with pain, though with a final push of his body, he pulled his blaster out, firing it at the thing he was talking about, though he done it in great agony, his arms felt like bars of steel, a crushing amount of weight holding his body down, enough that he could no longer hold back his tears, his voice started to scream the pain, letting the gun drop from his mouth and allowing his moth to echo his pain, though he done his job, he fell to the ground, placid and tears dropping from his face.

Ka-Aver grunted and tried to stand. He barely managed but with the aid of his trusted Glaive he came to a kneeling position. He glared at the cave the droid had been guarding.

Its center was filled with an old dusty freighter of sorts. Its nose turned against the far wall, where an opening was created. The ancient ship reminded mostly about a hawk, wings spread ready to fly.

To the left shelves with paintings and urns dominated the wall. In its heigh days this was probably worth a vast fortune but much of the art had suffered time and was simply not what it used to be. Despite that, to the right buyer this would probably bring in a hefty sum on the black market. (total value 1 000 000).

to the right a dusty old computer stood. rusty and seemingly without a power source.

"[member="Thraxis"], get on that terminal and see what it has to offer." he moved between the group, there was a moment between himself and [member="Zhol Kash Dinora"], a begrudged respect in his movement in his mannerisms. "Witch, you've done well." he moved among the trove of treasure, the pronged feet playing havoc on the ground leaving holes and scratch mark's.

Cadan threw his arms out to get Zhol's attention. What ever rivalries existed before were gone in Cadan's mind. This was a warzone and a Jackal needed help. "Sith! Thraxis is hit, he needs help!" He ran over to check if his friend was still alive. "You still with me Thraxis?"

Once sure that he was alive, he quickly ran over the the computer terminal opening it up and began browsing it. "I hope there's some Twi'leks on this."

Thraxis looked at [member="Cadan Tazi"], his eyes fuelled with anger, "NO DAMNIT! I AM IN A NEVER ENDING HELL FUELED PAIN!" he would force himself to yell, only to cough up blood once his little rant had finished, wishing he could clutch his arms but it only would end in more pain to sear through his body, he had never before been shocked by Sith lighting, nor to be followed up by blasts from some sort of mechanical nuisance.
