Location: The Prison
Objective: C
Enemies: [member="The Hound"]
Allies: [member="Ashin Varanin"]

The wind whipped around her as the cloak flapped against the turbulent winds. The weight of her armor carrying her down to the surface of the tainted planet. She would be the savior, she would bring salvation to a nation under tyranny, above all else she would destroy the darkness that loomed over the planet…

Spencer closed shut the book reading app on her data pad. She stuffed the pad into a small little bag on the side of the swoop bike she had confiscated from a nearby civilian. Those Jedi mind tricks were sure handy. There was a scent on her nose and a feeling in the back of her mind. Her blood called to her and she fired up the swoop bike and made her way towards the prison. She wasn’t too far, it was helpful that she was able to convince one of the drop offs to drop her close by. She could pick up Ashin light years away - it was just how things were. The swoop bike turned the corner and she climbed off and tossed the cloak from her shoulders onto the back end of the bike. She wore nothing fancy to the fight, just a tank top, some snug slacks and those killer knee high leather boots. Simple and to the point, the armor was at home waiting for a polish. The lack of weight would give the slender Spencer Jacobs a better chance of mobility - which was probably a good thing since she wasn't a huge fan of hand to hand combat.

The feeling would be sudden and Ashin would feel the common feeling of the Force Valor that Spencer blanketed the woman’s mind with. A sense of clarity was something the woman specialized in. Briefly a quick telepathic message would dance across Ashin’s subconscious.

You’re so not picking date night next time...

Kezeroth could hear the footsteps of someone near but every time he felt like he was getting closer he was forced to turn a corner and look around. He was beginning to question the architects that built the Temple. After awhile the armored Epicanthix began back handing closed doors, smacking them open to check whos inside. Acolytes were all he found along with other weirdos.

Getting done checking up on a training room, Kezeroth caught a glimpse of the cloaked figure in the halls. His eyes locked on the figure as best they could taking in any useful features.*Rumble* The Temple shook some causing the armored warrior to blink and thus he lost track of the hood figure. Staring down the hall Kezeroth blinked several more times as if he expected the man or woman to appear. " What?" he said under his breath as he removed his helmet with one hand and looked around again before putting back on.

- They were half way down the hall... Now there gone. Mmmm.- he thought as he investigated the hallway more. The Epicanthix knew the Sith Temple well but secert passage ways were not his cup of tea. Feeling the walls with his armored hands he began to laugh. He had no clue what he was doing. Stopping dead in the hallway he began to question what he was really doing on Coruscant, Little did Keze know that he to his right was a hidden passage way.

" Dang I feel Old." he muttered some. It was one of those days I guess.

Location: At the ruined temple door.
Objective A
Mission: Padawans Nom Nom Nom
Allies: Anyone at the door.
Enemies Specifically: [member="Evan Kenner"] | [member="Tiland Kortun"] | [member="Kira Vaal"] and anyone entering.
NPCs: Two Massassi Sith Spawn, 5/6 Sun Guard

One might wonder at Raien’s reaction to Kira, well betrayal obviously, or so his paranoid mind pictured… mercifully snapped out of his internal monologue, a colliding force push hit him, and his heavy boots scraped back a step or two, clawing at the ground to dig into the stone for purchase. Someone had dared to challenge him! Good! Weighty attentions fell upon the approaching force signature of [member="Evan Kenner"].

The gibbering mess of the padawan he was holding dropped, and it began to crawl away. This was all a display to find someone of worth, force potential to mold, so judgemental eyes appraised the latest apprentice, and a force PULL was aimed at [member="Evan Kenner"]’s legs to attempt to knock him over or off balance, while Raien’s heavy slow armored steps came forward, red saber low and humming outward ominously.

Fortunately his single-minded concentration was snapped sideways to [member="Tiland Kortun"], pressured attentions moved to the latest offer of aid, eyes behind Krayt’s mask boring right through the healer, looking for what was at the core, potential, force energy, techniques, something useful? It did give Evan a split second to attack or run, as Raien was distracted. Sadly for Tiland he held Raien’s concentration and interest, which meant pain, which meant his mind might slowly start feeling an intense burning sensation as was prodded from the inside out…. just what was in front of Darth Surtr? White burning impulse and suffering might lead him to where Tiland found strength or weakness, family, names, loves, fears, images, anything to leverage, and resistance might make it worse, as it gave the betrayer what he thrived on, a fight.

Feel free to drop any hints, images or names you want Tiland for future plots or threads.

Ebony giggled as she continued down the sith halls, she had given up on the walking along the roof as the corridors came up for her, now she found herself navigating through the long labyrinth of rooms and doors that led to nowhere in particular. Her eyes dragged down to her wrist mounted computer as she tapped into it every now and again to narrow her position in accordance with the data library. She had no prior knowledge of the place to be sure, but she was more than happy to walk in circles until she found her objective while the rest bought enough time by following their own missions. She was thankful to them, meant she didn't have to get distracted as she chucked a small cream coloured package every forty or so meters until she slowly began to run out of the plastic explosive. With a button press, all lit up with bright red lights and were primed to the trigger that Ebony held in hand.

She was close to the archives now, her light skipping picking up in her step as her heels clicked along the hard floor as large and menacing statues of famous sith flanked her on all sides, she stopped suddenly though with a curved lip and furrowed brow, taking note of her surroundings she looked at her computer and sighed. "I hope [member="Vaulkhar"] isn't here" she said with sadness thick in her voice. Then as soon as she had stopped, she moved on, there was no way to know and she hoped she would not have to prove it as she came up to the archive hall, where two rather menacing looking sith guards stood. Coated in deep red and faces covered, they stood watch and Ebony sighed. "Not good" she commented to herself as she figured her only option would be to fight her way in.

Location: Gates of the Sith Academy
Objective: Duel the big, scary Sith Lord who crushes Padawans with the flick of a wrist
Allies: The Galactic Alliance, Silver Sanctum, 'Good guys'?
Enemies: The big, bad [member="Raien Keth"]

Now that Evan got a closer look at the big, armored Sith Lord, he didn't look at big and menacing as he thought. In fact, he didnt look that tall at all. Evan was about to make a funny about it until the Sith Force Pulled him on his direction. Evan flew forward a few feet, leaving only about five feet between the two of them.

Then...he just sorta looked away for a moment.

"Oh, i'll teach you to turn your gaze off of me!"

With the Sith's attention occupied elsewhere, Evan quickly tried to plunge his lightsaber into the man's chest with a quick one-handed thrust. The gold-bladed lightsaber hummed as it cut through the air toward Keth's armored body.

To all of those at A

Battlemeditation spreading across those within her sphere of influence.

Fine beads of sweat would form over A'dele's brow. This, was more difficult for her. More of a strain. The Darkside of the Force seemed to permeate around her, a drifting miasma of distant whispers and past temptations.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Focus.

The Iridonian would sit in the freighter, away from the heat of battle itself, but still with every Alliance member and their allies across the distance of their objective. In that she would cast along intangible hands, as if sweeping away any distractions, keeping their minds clear and focused. Their morale up.

Any darkside influences that might push back, were instead redirected to A'dele herself. As if surrounded by the gale winds of a hurricane, Adele stood within the eye of the storm.

She wasn't safe by all means. No.

Eventually the wall of that tempest would overwhelm her.

“Get inside!” Jacen shouted, echoing the message with a telepathic prompt. They had landed a short distance from the temple and a small number of gawking civilians stood in their path. They quickly shifted out of the way and headed indoors.

Once they'd passed through the civilian zone and had the temple in sight the order came for weapons to be freed. Jacen felt the collective relief of those around him. Their rules of engagement were restrictive to avoid civilian casualties, and many soldiers feared being caught under enemy fire without permission to fire back.

As they rounded a corner they realised the battle was well underway. They'd kept their transport in one piece, but left their allies lacking support. Letting the Force guide his actions, Jacen planted his left foot and stepped to the right. In the same motion he launched his saber to the left, using the Force to guide its movement.

A red bolt aimed as the nearest GADF soldier bounced off the gold blade, whilst another struck the ground where he had been running a moment before. The soldiers scrambled and took cover whilst he called his saber back to his hand.

“Fething hell, thanks,” called the soldier over the platoon channel, having just seen his own death averted by the Jedi's skill.

Voidstalker didn't reply. He'd spotted young Aela fighting two Sith before the temple. Always in the centre of the maelstrom that one. He hoped he had perhaps redeemed himself in her eyes at the Battle of Sullust.

A long, slow breath through the nose and he was ready. He didn't even take the time to use his rifle, instead letting the soldiers around him lay down covering fire.

“Pink lightsaber, moving to engage on foot,” he called. It was important to tell your soldiers where you were going. That way you didn't get shot in the back.

Voidstalker's legs pumped hard as the Force aided his charge. His golden saber once again snapped to life as he ran for the female Sith. His free hand extended outwards as he ran, fingers splayed. He dared not use the Force on the acolyte battle Aela. Anything unexpected could throw her off her own rhythm.

Instead the Force heeded his call and swirled around the female Sith. His hand closed into a fist, his elbow pulled back against his body. He telekinetically yanked hard on her back leg, with enough power to throw her from her feet. It wasn't a complex attack, it was even fairly telegraphed. It didn't matter. It wasn't an end game strike. He merely needed to keep her rooted to the spot and reactive as he closed to last of the metres between them.

Objective: Supporting A

Enemies: Sith and Sith-allies
Equipment: Armor and Long-Knives x 2

Rushing from cover to cover, the young padawan worked his healing powers as swiftly as he could, getting soldiers and unfortunate civilians caught in cross-fire into stable enough conditions to get clear. He could only work so fast. He was thankful for the marking of a healer he wore, as his non-traditional combat robes, and his unique mask, were not likely to distinguish him readily as a member of a Jedi order.

After getting another soldier back into the fight, Ryn's golden eyes danced back and forth behind his mask, assessing the situation to find where he'd be best utilized next. A golden saber danced through the air, saving another soldier, and relieving Ryn of some triage duty. His eyes followed the saber back to it's knight ([member="Jacen Voidstalker"]). He decided then and there that he'd move to support the knight and his squad, as they rushed the temple. Now as long as he didn't get gunned down by friendly fire, or cut down by a rampaging Sith, he could keep saving lives. That's what he was here for!

Nyte growled once she heard those words, nodding to Xavka, "I am fine." Then addressing the Jedi, "You dare to say that you have no intention to harm us? Yet you come with an invading force! You lay down your arms if that is the case!"

Nyte moved to strike as well, coming into range to the Jedi as she felt the swirl of the Force coming from a new direction, another Jedi coming towards them. Nyte stepped over to protect Xavka in his own duel as she used a Force barrier to protect herself and her partner against the oncoming attack to try and cancel the movement and to protect them from the man that was coming straight at them.

"Xavka be careful!" She called out, the distress obvious in her voice, and the barrier began to weaken and she finally had to drop it, her blades still in hand to block the wild-eyed man coming to them.

HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG.

"BWAH!" The child let out a frustrated, exasperated noise before sliding downwards, breathing heavily and looking up at the rabbit ear, a childish pout on her features. Myehhhhh, why couldn't she lift it!? The answer was fairly obvious - there was no way a 40lb little girl would be able to lift a 70lb slab of concrete using only her shoulder. But, of course, Cynthia did not stop to contemplate this fact before trying anyways. In a second attempt to get at the toy, the pale-skinned girl crawled up and grasped the ear in both hands before attempting to pull it out of the rubble, making rather comical noises of exertion and frustration as she did so.

Alas, t'would be in vain once again, as the child lost her grip a number of seconds later, and fell backwards, tumbling down the rocks in a rather painful manner before landing roughly on her side at the bottom of the pile of concrete, back in the midst of the fighting once again. Another pretty red line that had been deflected by a certain Jedi's ([member="Jacen Voidstalker"]) lightsaber only moments earlier came zooming in from the left, hitting the ground beside the child, momentarily grabbing her attention as she turned briefly to watch the people in quite funny-looking (at least, to Cynthia) suits follow a man in rather floppy brown clothes past her.

...

She had seen those funny-looking suits and floppy brown clothes before. They helped people...or so they said. They never, ever helped her, though. Even now, as she sat no less than a few feet away from them looking quite pitiful, they seemed not to notice her. Had she been a bad girl, and that's why they never helped her? No, no, that couldn't be it. She was a good little girl, remember? Hmm...

Well, if she had been good, maybe if she asked them nicely they would help her get her friend back, right? It's not like they were busy fighting a war or anything, what's a few seconds of their time? Gathering herself as best she could (which was, to say, not very well at all), the tiny orphan shakily stood on her two legs and awkwardly shuffled up behind the nearest guy in floppy clothes (a certain [member="Ryn'Dhal"]), who seemed rather distracted (well, he was looking away from her, at the very least). Cynthia hesitated for just a moment before taking a deep breath and gently pulling on the back of the man's cloak to get his attention.

"S...S'cuse me, mister? Could you help me get my friend back? H-he's stuck up there, and I can't get him out..." Cynthia's voice was soft, barely audible above the chaos that raged around the two, but she had gotten her point across, and pointed up to the pile of rubble where the plush bunny ear was still visible.

Objective: Murdering civilians

Did Lucas care so much that people were attacking Coruscant? No.

Did he care there was another anzati out there? He dealt with one on the regular, Trin, and anyone could guess how well that went over. Yeah, Lucas didn’t care for his kind. But then again, he was a hybrid, the product of black ops eugenics and selective genetic modification. He could go a bit longer without soup, but it didn’t mean he didn’t miss the thrill of the hunt. The thrill of proving he was better. More persuasive, stronger, what have you. Now he was just there, he was doing his best to keep this person alive.

Dandelo…

That word didn’t mean anything to Lucas, but it had immense meaning for others. Lucas was behaving very similar to one such monster, loving the thoughts and emotions rolling off people. Pain was wonderful, joy, that one was a bit sour for the man. Was that a reflection on him as a being? Most likely.

“Looks like heroes are trying to liberate the world, my dear.” He looked at her, running the blade over her waist. “But I don’t believe they even know you exist.” He grinned at the blue twi’lek. Of course the hybrid would only sweet talk his victims.

“No one does.”

A little bit of pressure and a lot more screaming.

Ryn skidded to a halt upon hearing the soft voice behind him, rubble scattering about as he did so. Behind his mask, his eyes widened in horror. A child!? On a battlefield!? He thought in a panic. He heard her request, and thought quickly that it'd be the easiest way to get her out of harms way to get her and her friend free.

"Alright child, I'll gladly help you." His melodic voice came forth, a slight static to it when emitted from his mask as he looked down at [member="Jinx"]. "Lets get you, and your friend out of here. It is dangerous little one." He attempted to subtly hurry her along ahead of him, hoping the Force was with him in his endeavor, keeping blaster bolts from sailing in his direction.

Reaching the location the girl guided him to, he saw the ears. "Is that your friend under there?" He asked, facing the child, head inclined slightly. When she'd acknowledge it as fact, he'd have her stand aside, and would reach out and concentrate. "Be careful, I will move it." Because of the efforts of [member="Adele Adonai"]'s efforts, Ryn was able to easily able to concentrate through the firefighting, clearing the rubble and the mass of concrete out of the way, revealing the friend buried beneath.

Unfortunately, around the time the debris was redistributed elsewhere, a stray blaster bolt screamed in, angling at the childs back. OH FETH!!! was all Ryn could think, as he dove to protect the child. He knew mid-leap he'd be quick enough to protect the child... but, would he be quick enough to evade the bolt himself?

Under guard in one small room, electronics all around her, restrained to the wall but content. Flowing red robes, and crimson hair, vibrant and alive with the living fire of her order, her aura the same blazing as bright as she ever was. Sera’s training with the force had been little save passing instruction with a variety of masters, a hutt had almost taken her in, but her dream’s fate though was not to sit beside a crimelord. Waiting in the wings had been her fate, and she had accepted it, honing just one technique at the behest of the masters, night and day for years.

One talent which had kept her breathing even in opposition to the embers of Vahla, eyes ablaze, serenity of the flame had dawned upon her as her meditation deepened into a waking dream, farseeing the future, her dream remade with every shot that was fired above into a new possibility.

Farseeing for the commanders above [member="Darth Ayra"] | [member="Darth Hauntruss"], the red seer was at their disposal to aid the predictions of the battle ahead.

While [member="Adele Adonai"] inspired the fighters above, and blackened the hearts of their enemies the Sith, Sera Inkari tried to stay one step ahead of her, she was not of the same ability, as it was not honed to a Knights understanding of the force. She’d be like a passing presence, working ahead of Adele as she whispered into the ears of those that were affected by the battlemeditation above, telling them what might be coming next, inspiring them to surprising victories that saved lives.

With every even small surprise victory, spirits would raise… with every life saved above, and word at the right time, a new possibility in her dream erupted. Not every choice was right, because she was working to stay ahead of someone more skilled than she was, and investigating these possible futures at speed, tapping against the aura the Jedi Knight radiated to her troops, but did Adele have a counter?

As with Adele she was far from safe… for she had few physical counters of her own, but then she was also a prisoner within a dream of her own choosing. All was the will of the force.

Location: I dunno. Looks bad, though.

Upon further observation, the man wore a white mask covering the entirety of his face. Was he a robot? Had Cynthia just grabbed the attention of a robot? Huh. Who cares, at least he acknowledged her. Any further musings the child may have had on the matter were hushed upon hearing Robot-Dude's voice - melodic and soothing, like a cello played by a virtuoso's hand. It ushered away her fears - Robot-Dude would help her. But oh? What was this about...dangerous? "Mister, whaddya mean 'dangerous'? I'm fine. See?" With this, the orphan pulled one of her white sleeves back, revealing how absolutely not true her claim was - her arm was completely white, like a corpse, no more than skin and bones, and marred with scars one might expect to see on a veteran soldier.

For some odd reason, the little girl seemed to think her point was made, and obediently led the man to the little ear, climbing over the concrete with some effort, nodding her head with a little "Mhm." when asked if it was her friend. She was rather patient while [member="Ryn'Dhal"] cleared the rubble, mentally twiddling her thumbs and wondering if watermelons were carnivorous (despite the fact that she knew not what the flarp either of those words meant).

One might expect a little girl to squeal happily and tumble on into the tiny crater of concrete to regain her stuffed bunny, but Cynthia didn't - she simply stared down at the desolate-looking toy, an empty look in her eyes. She did not so much as flinch as the laser arced towards her back - instead, the Padawan would witness a massive slab of concrete jut out of the ground in front of him, absorbing the bolt and preventing it from hitting either of the two. The albino orphans back remained turned as this happened, and stayed that way for a number of seconds after.

Only then did the tiny girl proceed to squeal happily and tumble on into the tiny crater of concrete to regain her stuffed bunny, with a squeak of "BUGSYYYYYYYY!" Apparently that was the toy's name. She practically tackled the little toy, cuddling with it and practically purring in content. "I missed youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Thankiesthankiesthankies Mister!"

Well, that was one problem solved...

Objective A

Stars slowed and then came to a stand still, as the Initium came out of light speed. From hyperspace, the modified Star Courier had brought it's occupant, Darth Ayra, to a battle that had major implications for the galaxy. Erecting it's cloak, Ayra reclined in her seat as she watched the battle that was being waged. Death itself was palpable, spreading it's cold beyond Coruscant and into the Force itself. She could feel it, filling her up with a sick, twisted warm feeling along her body.

"This is too bold for the Galactic Republic..." Controlling the viewing port ahead of her, Ayra zoomed in on the war ships that were locked together in battle. She recognized the war ships of the One Sith, having been familiar with their designs. She had once commanded an Immortal Dreadnaught, at one point.

Zooming on the other, unfamiliar ships that were firing back on [member="Darth Hauntruss"]' forces, Ayra scanned the surface and discovered an emblem. It was similar to the Galactic Republics, yet it was different. Her senses attuned to the Force, Ayra could feel the presence of powerful Jedi in the system. "Have the Jedi split again?"

Switching back on the GNN, Ayra paid attention to the news as it came in. Under the cover of the Initium and it's technology, she was in no immediate danger, despite the battle being waged here. She required more information before deciding whether or not to risk her life and the future of the Grand Plan, in order to help the One Sith and their plight.

In many ways, she was more than free to allow events to play their course. After all, the One Sith and their very ideas were a violation of her Order.

...the Galactic News Network will continue it's coverage of the attack currently taking place in the Coruscant system. We will aim to keep you updated on the news and stories as they come in...

Darth Ayra didn't pay much attention to the debate that then ensued in the next hour of the report, as analysts discussed the implications of the attack, who was responsible and why it was happening. She suddenly leaned up as the debate was interrupted by a live report on the ground.

4_zpsdvyaikwk.png
...Apologizes gentlemen, but we are receiving live footage from Coruscant. As we understand it, this is coming directly from the district near the Sith Temple complex, where the Jedi Temple used to stand. As you can see, there are Jedi and Sith engaged in battle...

"So it is the Jedi," Darth Ayra said to herself.

...We are also receiving news from our correspondence on Onderon. As the Galactic News Network understands it, the Galactic Republic are denying responsibility for the attack on Coruscant. As we covered earlier, the Republic aligned system of Condruum is thought to be under siege by Sith forces...

She had heard enough. Turning the monitor offline, Darth Ayra took control of the Initium's controls and set her course for the Sith Temple. The infiltration she had devised to join the One Sith was of vital importance to the Grand Plan. Many Sith and Jedi were set to die here, such was the benefits of war and the completion of the imperative.

Coruscant falling this early into a conflict that should span decades was not apart of her plot. For the Jedi to begin their resurgence at this juncture was not apart of the plan. They would have to be stopped.

Piloting the transport, the Dark Lord aimed for a skyscraper that overlooked the city. As she landed, Ayra could spot the plumes of smoke bellowing out of the Sith Temple. Turbolaser fire and explosions were now a background noise, which was only dulled by the Initium currently being closed. Claiming her lightsaber in her hand, Ayra stood back up.

Engaging the PDF and leaving it's stealth online, the Initium would remain undetected for the duration of the battle. As a precautionary measure, Ayra also set the self destruct for thirty seconds, if someone tried to breach it's hull or enter through it's shuttle bay without the correct codes. Disembarking the vessel, the Dark Lord set off towards the nearby temple, intent to murder Jedi with her bare hands.

This time, Ijaat had an idea as he began to be continually bogged down in quick one-off firefights with stragglers and remnants of Defense Forces. He couldn't afford to wipe them all out. Well, technically he could in reality.. But that would take far too long. So instead he slung the rifle along his back and drew his sword, Jatharesa. From within a belt pouch he produced a control rod, which he fitted onto his forearm and smiled, a few moments later a bright circle of energy burst forth from the rod, forming a rather clasically shaped round shield on his left side. The sword in his hand gleamed as he spun it a few times, flexing his knees and legs as if preparing for something. His precious hat was even dropped off his head, held on only by the chin-string around it.

"Right then... Let us go to work.."

With that, Ijaat felt only a momentary sense of unease from Geoff as he focused on his blade in his hand. He wasn't entirely sure the focus had to be done, but it had become a habit of his when the blade was first drawn. Suddenly the Mandalorian moved, and he blurred, shooting forward with speed a Jedi Knight would be hard pressed to match even utilizing the Force Speed ability. Men and women from the Defense force fell, hamstrung or outright slain where they stood, single and precise cuts. There was no mercy in his stroke, no compassion in his sword as he blew down the streets with an outright deadly intent. He was cutting a bloody swathe right through them, zigging and zagging towards the Defense controls.

"Ijaat to Alliance in the Area... I am converging on the Defense Controls, western side... Beacon active...I will be at the main doors in a few moments... I could use support while I get inside. Follow the bodies."

With that said, he ducked beneath the barrage of bolt from one lone Soldier, and spun as he ducked, the bright edge of his shield burning into the mans throat, followed by a gleaming edge of alchemized metal that hadn't seen the light of war in millenia before this day. Standing he turned the step forward into a lunge and speared his blade through the left-center of another Soldier, straight through the heart, and reared back to kick him off the blade, it's corsuca gem inlay now smeared dark red as the body flopped off it with a sickening squelch and almost sucking sound.

Looking up, Ijaat sighted the doors, and more importantly sighted a long series of barricades. Moments before the fire erupted from them, he ducked into a back alley with no real discernible exit. Slipping his sword back into it's scabbard after wiping it clean, he switched back to the rifle, muttering as he prepared to again engage in a firefight with his enemies.

There comes a moment in everyone's life when they suddenly realize they made a very poor decision. Having lived for five hundred some years, Tiland had quite a few of those, but this one definitely took the cake. His legs started to buckle as the Sith turned his attention on him, a painful pressure exploding through his mind. Sifting, even? He leaned on the staff, forcing himself to stand upright. The Force is my ally, he told himself, flinging his mind outwards to catch it and let it flow through his body, giving some strength back. But the pressure remained.

The greatest thing Raien would find through his seeking was a deep sense of the passage of time, over years, decades, and centuries. The eternal, unending sense of time and detachment tinged with a deep sorrow at his, usually perceived crimes. The death of a kidnapper. Life on Anzat. Guiltiness in regards to his innate nature, that screamed and yelled at him to attack, to strike, and to destroy. Give into the darkness, it said. Become your nature, feed on the soups around you. There were so many. So many powerful ones that his body craved. There was resolve too, and growing from the sorrow, compassion. A tender caring for those who also suffered and fought against the loss of themselves. A desire to help them, to make them grow and flourish into the greatest they could be.

He pushed through the pain as he swayed, letting as much of it as would disperse, be dispersed into the Force. There was still a great deal left, however, and thoughts were muddled and confused. He had to reach out to this being again. He reached out with his mind, his telepathy.

We are not so different. Let me help you.

He took a few slow, deliberate steps forward, leaning heavily on the staff and relying on the Force to keep him upright and moving, with as much as he could connect with. Then he felt the meditation from [member="Adele Adonai"] flood into his mind. He shook his head. So many people in his head. Thoughts were discordant and jangled. He staggered, but caught himself, making eye contact with the Sith on the stairs above him, trying to forge a connection in the eye contact. He pulled himself up onto the first stair.

Objective: Infiltration.

“Coruscanti Underworld, Yurz. Level 1023. There is an old warehouse close to a closed water recycling plant - I will sent give you the coordinates.”

The durasteel roof felt oddly cold to his back - even all these years spent mimicking the heathens of this Galaxy and Durzo still could not get used to the touch of simple metal. It felt odd, off even, as if it had no place or purpose in his vicinity: he wasn’t as most of his siblings though, the ancient one was aware of the value of these materials at times.

It was simple psychological conditioning that left him feeling… icky whenever it touched even parts of his bare skin.

“I am not insane.” Durzo declared, seemingly at random and in the air.

He rolled his eyes as the unhearable comment back, before coughing softly. “Don’t call me that.”

“Oh, you know what.”

The amusing part was that Durzo wasn’t insane - the truth of the matter was that there was a little device inhabiting a cavity an inch above his ear and about two inches inside his head, just as with all the other tools that the Yuuzhan Vong employed… this tool was organic and sentient in nature, so sentient that it couldn’t stop talking half of the time.

The frustrating part was that it did not have any on or off functionality - and that it could hear his every thought.

“Shut up. We both know that I didn’t mean that. No, I would never shut you off… I proooomise.”

Very frustrating.

Location: Beside the temple’s ruined door.
Objective A
Mission: Soresu Sith Style!
Allies: Anyone at the door.

NPCs: Two Massassi Sith Spawn, 4/6 Sun Guard
Background NPCs, Remaining Temple Guard, AA Guns, Shield Generator.

Giant Massassi axe continued to rend flesh from bone and armor, even as another of the Sunguard nearby was overwhelmed, the giants were not tiring, they like Raien Keth, were starting to find purpose in the carnage, a rebirth in the center of conflict.

There was something… interesting in the healers thoughts, reading images, leverage and about to demand more answers, but there was less resistance than expected in Tiland, and this absolutely infuriated Raien Keth to the point he almost lost his poise. If the simple acceptance had continued and [member="Evan Kenner"] hadn’t thrust his weapon at him, he might have made a serious error. He would come back to Tiland, when the other was dust to study the Jedi's potential use to him further.

[member="Evan Kenner"]
As it was the beam glinted out of the corner of his eye, and in response Raien did a tight fluid Soresu minor orbit, up and over the apprentice’s beam to roll it aside, cutting two of Krayt’s armored spikes off with it but sparing a deathblow.

Reaching out in the force he intended to lock the attacking shoulder joint of his opponent as he did so, continuing to step into to him, to increase the pressure, and giving him less room to move. Rolling the attacking arm with his weapon the opposite way, in a hopefully (un)healthy snapping of bone or tendon at the elbow. [member="Evan Kenner"] There were counters, but a fighter needed experience or knowledge to get out of what amounted to an arm lock, twisted by both the force and saber in opposing directions.

There was one thing about every move he did, maximum lethality, nothing held back, (un)fortunately [member="Tiland Kortun"] was completely out of his single-minded focus, leaving his side open, a minor orbit of his saber instead rotated back around other way, as he advanced aiming to simply walk through Evan with blade and spiked armored boot. It seemed the over proud Keth had yet to take his attacks as more than a distraction, by the way he was toying with him, "is that all you have?"

Loving this so far guys, great posts, excuse Raien!.

Even if there hadn't been the faintest shimmer in the air, the clear discontinuity in the Force would have revealed the presence of the barrier. As the pressure he was attempting to apply faded, so too did the barrier. The regular flow of the Force returning as it dissipated leaving small eddies Voidstalker could sense.

The experienced Knight slowed his pace as he approached his target. One of his main focuses was the blade, having studying with Masters such as Alen Na’Varro and Shule Windspeaker. Either would chastise him for charging into a fight heedless of the dangers ahead.

His blade came up in a classic Soresu posture as he slowed to a walk. His discerning eyes noted the position of her feet, the placing of her weight. Keeping his eyes on her at all times, he changed his angle of approach and stalked the acolyte.

Two blades. Two blades took extreme skill to use together in a concerted effort. Without warning he closed the gap between them. His feet never left the ground by more than a few inches, never leaving her an opportunity to take him off balance.

The simple probing strike came in quickly, from her left shoulder towards her chest. With two hands on his own hilt it was a strong enough strike to rattle a single-handed grip, but tentative enough to allow him to drop back to defend a follow up strike from the acolytes second blade.
