- Description: The family has origins in the Ancient House of Petro, but was split from this house when the founding member, Isaline Ryiah, disowned the Petro House and changed her surname to Ryiah in in 139BBY. After Isaline gave birth to a son the family grew fairly slowly until catastrophe struck. Isaline's grandchildren were frozen for over a century and are now part of the current galaxy. This makes the family scattered, uncertain, and a unit out of its time period.

- Isaline was born to the Ancient House of Petro in 139BBY. She had several brothers and sisters and grew up experiencing the wealth and expectations that came with being a member of a noble house. Her parents were distant but made certain to train their children is grace and decorum. When Isaline was six months old her parents realized she was Force sensitive and allowed the Jedi to take her for training, but insisted she remain part of House Petro and perform her noble duties as she got older. Isaline did not feel close to her family but got along well with her siblings for the most part. When she was a young adult she had gotten into an altercation with her brother that left her physically damaged and would ruin her future as a Jedi. Her parents refused to listen to her and did not a family scandal exposed so they ordered Isaline not to inform the Jedi Council what had happened. Isaline was furious with her parents because they would not punish her brother or seek justice for what he had done to her. She decided to cut ties with the family.

- Description: Troy is the son of Isaline Ryiah and was born in isolation on the forest world of Usina. He met his wife Anastasia, who was a member of a dark Jedi cult. Soon Troy joined the cult to support Anastasia but things took a dark turn when Anastasia became pregnant with twins. The cult believed the twins were the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy and held religious significance. Lady Sinistra, the leader of the cult, killed Anastasia and Troy moments after the babies were born and took the children to raise herself.

- Description: At birth Daxium and his twin sister were kidnapped by a dark Jedi cult who believed the twins fulfilled an ancient prophecy. They were raised by a ruthless Dark Jedi Master named Lady Sinistra. While Katarine would never embrace the darkside, Dax excelled at it and grew to master the Force and the darkness within. When Order 66 happened Daxium was betrayed by Lady Sinistra and narrowly escaped with his life. He crash landed on the planet of Chalacta where he met a local farmer. The two married and started a family. When Lady Sinistra discovered her student was still alive Dax went to his twin for help. Together they worked to stop Lady Sinistra, resulting in Daxium being frozen in carbonate for over a century.

The Ryiah Family is a small family of strong Force users who have been small players in the galaxy far far away for centuries. The family has lineage to the ancient House Petro but a rift between brother and sister caused the family founder to renounce the Petro name and create her own surname. With that act the Ryiah Family was born.
The family has strong ties to the Jedi Order but a dark history of suffering has kept the family from rising to prominence. By it's second generation the family was involved with a dark Jedi cult that would claim the lives of two of it's members and go on to prevent the family from rising to power in the galaxy.
