Sadete was born and raised on her homeworld of Chalacta. As a young girl she helped her family tend to a small farm. The village where she lived was impoverished but also held a close-knit community that cared for the needs of others. She grew up as a spiritual person and joined the Chalactan Adepts when she was young to begin her training towards enlightenment.
When an offworlder named Daxium Ryiah crashed on the planet Chalacta he was greatly injured. Sadete brought him back to her family's home and nursed him back to health. She could tell that Dax was a darksider but she had been taught to help others when they needed it. Dax was taken back by the kindness Sadete showed him though he was a total stranger. Throughout the months she tended to his injuries the two fell in love and eventually they married. Dax started to help her family on the farm and they lived a quiet life, eventually starting a family of their own.
When Dax had a vision of an old nemesis coming for his family Sadete had no choice but to leave her home planet. She traveled with her husband and children so Dax could contact his sister, Katarine Ryiah, for help. To protect the family Sadete and her children remained behind while Katarine and Daxium went to confront the Dark Jedi Master. When some time had passed and the family had heard nothing of Daxium they went looking for him. It is unclear what happened to them.
