Casaline Ryiah was born to parents Daxium and Sadete Ryiah in the year 2BBY. Her father was hunted by the leader of a Dark Jedi Cult and her family became a target when she was a preteen. To protect the family they were placed in a hibernation trance, but her father was unable to return and wake the family. They remained in stasis for over a century. When Casi woke up she spent some time at the hospital on Naboo, learning to walk again and strengthen her muscles after such a long time in stasis. Her mother and father are still in the hospital and it remains unclear if they will survive. Casi was taken by her aunt, Katarine Ryiah, to join the Jedi and continue her training in the Force, but the young girl remains plagued with fear over her parents condition.
