DESCRIPTION
Tania Bayern is arguably the most important figure in Chaldean history, yet very little is known about her. This has led to many legends and myths about her life, some of them too wild and weird to be believed. At the very least, she is known to have existed - the numerous artifacts which have survived attest to the fact that a woman named Tania Bayern lived and died sometime during the Gulag Era, where she distinguished herself as the mother of the modern Chaldean Potentium and founder of the Order of Mystics.

This sword is one such relic. According to legendary sources, the weapon was crafted by Tania herself, using ore obtained from a meteorite that had crashed in Bamarre. She wielded it in many battles against numerous foes. At some point the blade was broken into several pieces, making it unusable. A prophecy was foretold that the sword would be reforged and wielded once again by someone with a "sibling-soul" to Tania herself.

The broken pieces were collected and stored in the Chaldean Academy's antiquities building for nearly five hundred years, where they were sometimes put on display for pilgrims to view. During the Chaldean Civil War, the sword was used in a ritual manner. Soldiers and knights of the Potentium would kiss the base of the broken blade before heading into battle in order to obtain "Tania's Pardon" - killing is seen as a grave sin in the Potentium, tolerable only in self-defense. This practice became widespread during the war, with Chaldeans kissing their blades before and after battle.

Recently the blade was reforged under the orders of the seer Persis Solusar and given to Kai Bamarri. Persis is convinced that Tania was in fact a Bamarri who had possessed the body of a human woman, and that Kai is the "sibling-soul" of the prophecy.
