It does, but its the idea that like, I drop in my equivalent of a millennium falcon as air-support, say that would be countered normally by a fighter squadron, in which case, cool. But, instead there was suddenly Heavy Cruisers in Orbit poised and ready for strike! My reaction to that was like "Oh, okay, damn... uhhh, whelp... sure!"
My ship was gonna maybe do a strafing run or two just into the mobs which would do some nice damage in the background, maybe even things out a touch.
xD
So as long as this isn't a thing
Sure, we can pull this around into a fight.
If you guys are down to collaborate on the answer, I'll do a minor edit, we can say that the padawans and younglings were ushered out, but a series of knights, masters and allies enter to fight the force, they could have used their exit tunnels to come out around the clone force, evening things out a tad, then everything can just descend into chaos. Break ranks, fire at will.
Thoughts?
Edit: It's also about what tells the better story, if you guys are down to tell it, I think if the Jedi would win this fight, then fighting would be the better story here, as the Jedi would win against insurmountable odds. Which would be a great story. The the narrative is just the Jedi loose, then the Jedi retreating tells a better story, because then you have the jedi lose the ground and loose the temple, which is a big hit for the plotline, but somewhat out-fox the clones in order to regroup and fight another day so they don't loose numbers which can lead to a better confrontation later. Which is a classic theme for Jedi. But i mean, that comes down to whether or not you guys would like to orchestrate the end of this before we get there.
