[member="Keira Ticon"] don't worry, [member="Krenis Skirata"] just needs to report back to my division for reconditioning. Just make sure we don't have any attractive and slightly metrosexual pilots hanging around, only pain come from that situation.
Reconditioning, sonny? Eight hundred years make for far too grumpy a clone to be reconditioned.

Okay, I don't want to be "that guy", and I'm certainly not trying to come across as rude, but I do find it improbable that the entirety of the Jedi Enclave would be evacuated in roughly twelve minutes. Don't get me wrong, I respect your intentions, and I'm not invalidating them, but we aren't here to roflstomp the Jedi just for kicks, just in case that was somehow miscommunicated. Now, I'm not going to openly and bluntly demand that you make edits, but I would appreciate it if you did, just for the sake of carrying out an epic story and a clash of the titans between the Jedi Order and the clone army. I think it'd be a lot of fun for everyone, and make for great character development on all sides.

I echo what [member="Keira Ticon"] is laying down [member="Orphen"] completely respect what you have going on but an epic clash and loss of life on both sides would be awesome to see.

See, while that's what I thought going into this as well, it seemed to me that with all the talk of 3000 troops, and potentially millions more in reserve, super heavy cruisers in space bearing down, of every squad of clone troopers carrying heavy weapons and missiles and how the whole narrative from the beginning followed the line of "If the Jedi Raised arms, it would be suicide." Why would we fight, rather than stall and run away? Because it seems like there is nothing to win, and everything to loose.

If you can give me that reason, I'll more than gladly make edits.

Also, as for evacuation times. I guess that really depends on the Size of the Temple right? Chazwa hasn't been the capitol for ages, because the battle-lines have changed so much, and, as kind-of a more rural world, i didn't imagine it to be gigantically expansive. Probably wider than tall because of the lack of high-rise city around it, more like a sports stadium... except a solid building. Less height would mean less elevators/ bottlenecks for evacuation. (Which would be the biggest time sink.) I pictured that total evacuation would have happened in about 15 minutes ish. Which, when you think about it, when the order is just "Drop everything and get to the tunnel" Is a pretty long time. Not to mention Jedi temples aren't exactly the most densely populated places in the galaxy.

As for this matter, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just explaining my position, and if i am wrong, once again, i will gladly make edits. I'm not gonna get mad or annoyed, I'm pretty chill about this kinda thing.

Sorry if I've been a bit of a pain.

Just trying to keep things kinda logical.

Hell, i wanted to jump up onto my ship trying to run away only to have Mr Dark Jedi Master already standing there, ensuing an epic duel while we fly across the battlefield in an awesome set-piece.

I just can't find reason to, against infinite odds stacking against you.

EDIT: I totally didn't know this thread existed

For technical reasons in for the launcher question each squad of clone troopers is made up of these unit types that form a squad
Clone Trooper
Combat Engineer
Combat Medic
Snipers

The combat engineer carries a scrap maker launcher as it's listed in their gear and equipment part of the submission.

The other part about the millions of clones and starships is to set a sense of hopelessness and escalate the situation for the Jedi order on Chazwa, that no matter what they do they are out manned. The carriers and millions of clones won't be making apperances maybe a few fighters might show up but that's about it. I hope this satisfies you and you can edit if you feel up to it

It does, but its the idea that like, I drop in my equivalent of a millennium falcon as air-support, say that would be countered normally by a fighter squadron, in which case, cool. But, instead there was suddenly Heavy Cruisers in Orbit poised and ready for strike! My reaction to that was like "Oh, okay, damn... uhhh, whelp... sure!"

My ship was gonna maybe do a strafing run or two just into the mobs which would do some nice damage in the background, maybe even things out a touch.

xD

So as long as this isn't a thing

Sure, we can pull this around into a fight.

If you guys are down to collaborate on the answer, I'll do a minor edit, we can say that the padawans and younglings were ushered out, but a series of knights, masters and allies enter to fight the force, they could have used their exit tunnels to come out around the clone force, evening things out a tad, then everything can just descend into chaos. Break ranks, fire at will.

Thoughts?

Edit: It's also about what tells the better story, if you guys are down to tell it, I think if the Jedi would win this fight, then fighting would be the better story here, as the Jedi would win against insurmountable odds. Which would be a great story. The the narrative is just the Jedi loose, then the Jedi retreating tells a better story, because then you have the jedi lose the ground and loose the temple, which is a big hit for the plotline, but somewhat out-fox the clones in order to regroup and fight another day so they don't loose numbers which can lead to a better confrontation later. Which is a classic theme for Jedi. But i mean, that comes down to whether or not you guys would like to orchestrate the end of this before we get there.

Just a couple of observations, to make sure the story continues and both sides have fun and get something out of this thread. Both 'sides' don't have to get 100% what they want - it would be great if they could - but I suspect a little give and take will be in order.

And when I say 'sides' I mean opposing IC forces of course. We're both on the same OOC side - the story.

Now...observations:

1. We created the Enclave for story purposes. The plan was to attack a Jedi Temple. But we don't have one in Republic space any more. So we generated a building on the fly. How big it is and what sort of facilities it has? In one sense immaterial to the bigger picture of the story. In another sense, up to the writers. Logic says it has no defences other than the Jedi walking around in it. And given our actual temple on Lothal probably only has 150 in it (just a wild guesstimate) - this would have substantially fewer - but again, logic can get in the way of a great story, so should be taken with a pinch of salt.

2. I really ought to post in the thread - if only to give direction. The Enclave is under attack after all. As a heads-up, the Code is clear on a likely course of action:

A Jedi's first concern is to preserve life

:) :) :)

Just so everyone knows, the intent is for the Jedi to emerge victorious at the end of things. We definitely didn't go into this plot expecting to win the day. Dictators don't usually make happy endings. :p

Hope y'all don't mind my helping out. I don't get to use this toon much and figured I'd knock the dust off his arse. Plus Keira is really hot and any excuse to be near her is good enough for me.
