The Precursor.

Vulpesen smiled and watched as she slept, enjoying the moment and sight for several more moments before slowly falling asleep himself. His golden eyes slowly went shut and he laid back his arms still wrapped around Alexandra as he mentally left the world. Seems Ace would have to wait another night.

Alex would sleep silently with her head against him for most of the night, dreaming within her mind as the two of them slept. Her chest would rise and fall very slowly as she sat there with him under the stars. She would remain like this for hours and would not wake any time early in the next day, sleeping late and long as she stayed beside Vulpesen.

Sometimes Vulpesen's seep was restless. Nightmares and dreams about those he lost, and those he could lose often plagued his mind. it was only natural given his lifestyle. But tonight, there was no turmoil within his mind. There were few dreams, but he was certainly relaxed, staying still ad peaceful til the morning.

The weather would get worse while they slept and during the middle of the night the sky would slowly open up, clouds appearing and rain starting to fall down upon the two of them who had simply fallen alseep out in the middle of the area. Without even the trees to cover them, they would both start to feel a large level of water hitting them on the shoulders and the heads. Alex herself would wake up slowly as she would realize that it was raining and both smiling while also a bit shocked at the way she had been woken up.

As the rain his his face, Vulpesen's golden eyes started to flick open and it wasn't love before he figured out what was going on. "Well, that was unexpected." He lifted his hand to let out a wide force push, blocking out the rain for a moment, though he didn't feel like doing too much of the action. "Perhaps net time we should check the weather." He turned to grin at her.

"Ya ya, can we get under the trees before we are drenched, id rather not be stuck drenched in a dress with nothing... proper to change into." She started to get up, whether he said yes or not, and chose to ignore any mention of what her other outfit was. She was not going to walk around in it and show up at the temple looking like such.

Vulpesen nodded and followed after her, his white undershirt quickly turning transparent from the rain as he took cover. "Guess it'll take us a bit longer than we thought to get home." He smiled and wrung out his shirt. "Now if only I had some kind of force ability to dry myself off." He gave his head a shake as well, causing water to spray out from his hair.

"Well, you are part fox right, just start shaking it off, im sure that would work." She smiled as she teased him after what the both of them had seen, her eyes running over the man she had woken up beside and smiling before sitting down under a tree that was stopping the rain for a few moments before it reached the ground. She then threw her bag off and started to pull out a blanket she had in it, curling up in it and looking at him. "Get over here mister."

He laughed at her suggestion as his head stopped shaking. "What do you think I just did?" As she pulled out the blanket and beckoned him over, he happily obeyed, walking over to sit at her side and wrap an arm around her. "So, I guess that's one way to get a wake up call. Clad you came prepared."

"Oh dont be a smart ass mister." She smiled and looked at the man for a moment before looking to the side and then leaning her head on his shoulder, watching the rain as it fell infront of them. "So much for trying to get home faster... If i knew any better i would think you could control the weather and did this on purpose..." She smiled and kissed his cheek, secretly knowing she herself could lessen the rain if she wanted too... cause or stop it though, she was yet to be able to do that in regards to Alter Enviroment.

He chuckled and pulled her closer to him. "I did spend a bit of time learning under the Baran-Do Sages, but they never really taught me to affect the we weather on this scale. Hell, I barely even learned the basics of force winds." He looked up past the leaves towards the sky, relaxing as he watched the rain fall to the ground.

"You should practice it, there are so many things that you can do with that and to tell the truth it is one of the most useful force powers in my mind, as you can completely control the battlefield with such a power under your belt. Your daggers and shouting can only get you so far Vulpesen, you are going to need more than that if you want to stick around and improve yourself to the degree that you are able too."

He shrugged and continued to gaze up at the sky. "Maybe you're right. Never put too much stock in it, but I guess that I do like the more practical sides of the force. Or maybe I can find another way to manipulate my force pushes. Make a new ability. Force umbrella. Might not be so bad of an idea if I can learn to focus long enough." As he spoke, Vulpesen reached out his hand and used several force pushes, watching the flow rain as it moved with his will.

"You are strange, just don't start signing in that rain and we will be all good." She smiled as she watched him manipulate the rain and tapped his arm, sending a small shock from her hand to his as a joke. She stared at the rain though as she did, smiling and studying, listening to it and considering doing something very different than what Vulpesen had ever seen her do.

He let out a small laugh at her comment and wrapped his other arm around her, jumping a bit as she shocked him. "True, but at least I keep life nice and interesting." He turned and kissed her cheek before resuming his show with the rain, seeing what patterns he could make with the force. Witht he command he possessed in telekinesis, it was certain that the different shapes could be quite varied.

She watched, moving her own hand up and weaving her own shapes, a bit choppy though as she wasn't sure how to really get them to form shapes. Infact most of hers simply looked like mangled streams of rain that didn't move at all and seemed to bubble as if trying to escape her grasp. Elegance is not something used to describe anything Alex created at the moment.

Vulpesen let out a small laugh as he observed her work. "Just need a bit of practice." He resumed his own work around her's each movement of his hand, bring about another angle and change. "Hell, the only reason I'm so good at doing this is because no one taught me to use anything else." He started to expand his influence, seeing just how far he could extend the barrier.

"Yada yada..." She was annoyed now that she couldn't do the same thing and started to push herself to get iti to work more like she wanted, both her hands working now and still just getting these masses of water that continue to just bubble or do nothing. Sighing she gave up and just let it fall infront of her, staring at it for a few long seconds.

Vulpesen let out the smallest of chuckles as he noticed Alexandra's frustration, soon wrapping his arms around her. "Don't try to affect the rain as a whole. Just little pushes in the right places. Don't lift or drop. Sometimes the trick is to not over complicate it. Normal actions placed in the right places can cause in amazing results." He reached out again, using the simplest of force pushes, something that most force users had learned as small children. However, he followed it up with more pushes, identical but simply in another place. After a few moments, his timing made the rain osculate in flowing patterns.

"Its not funny..." She sighed and simply watched him instead, her head against his shoulder once more and breathing in lightly as she smiled. She did enjoy the closeness and as she watched him she figured that she would be able to understand how his force pushes effected the rain and created these very movements and shapes he made. "Ok, so you are a little better at this then me... but only a little."
