The Precursor.

He leaned his head over hers and continued to sit with her, watching as the rain continued on, undeterred as he lowered his hands to wrap them around her. "Hey, I have to be good at something. We all have our special skills." He grinned and kissed her. "Not like it can compete with how you directly commune with the force, which I still want to figure out."

"Its a secret, i like to think its almost natural... maybe even to do with how Hel was able to become an actual person. Who knows, maybe im just weird and i don't actually communicate with the force itself. But until we figure out what it truly is, lets just say im special like that, i found my own version of a unique force power... i still like my melee use of Electric Judgement though."

Vulpesen smiled and pulled her close against him. "I envy you. I'd give up everything I've learned, just to do that. Still, can't do much about that for now so I guess we can hold off on any lesson with that. As for your lightning, I might just find a way to mimic it, either with my own shocks, or a nice concentrated force push."

She smiled as he pulled her close and said that he envied her for such a simple thing to her. "I-its nothing... really. Just something i learned how to do by accident and trying to do something very different. There is no reason to be envious." She looked at the ground for a moment before grinning and nudging him. "Also, this is coming from the man that can use force bellow and throw supersonic daggers."

He shook his head. "The force has been my life since the day I was born. I wish I could get that close. As for my howling and daggers. Zarro just wanted a person who could advertise his shop, and the jedi for some reason didn't like the idea of me shooting lightning... as if a stunning bolt was less dangerous that a black blade shooting through you're body. That and the last time I threw my lightsaber at someone, one half got broken and the other was stolen."

She laughed and looked down at her own sabers as she took them from her waist. "Why do you think i chose Phrik as the metal of choice in my sabers, keeps from someone simply cutting through it and me losing my link to my life." She looked at her sabers and took the moment to slowly take apart the saber with the force, pulling out the crystals. "Did i ever tell you why i use these two crystals?"

"Yeah, i might just have to do that one of these days." He looked at her and watched as she took out the crystals. "No, you haven't." Figuring that he was in for a story, he leaned back and relaxed against the tree, waiting for her to speak. He of course, hadn't expected this break from the world, but now that he had it, he loved it and he didn't want it to end.

"They were my mothers, i learned after my time during the Sith... it turns out old Man Cinthra never actually created his own sabers, he had simply taken my mother's after finding me and never destroyed them. Its good though, its my only connection to my mother and my staff is my connection to my father, its why i use it still even if not a overly useful against most opponents." She smiled and held the crystals in her hands now, smiling as she looked at him. "If i didn't use both of them, i would give you one of these."

Vulpesen's smile widened and he reached into his coat before pulling out a pair of black and gold gems. "From my ancestors. My father left me a holocron which had different crystals hidden away from our most prominent members of the family. Once I activated the thing, it opened up and gave me these. If I wasn't a red bladed sith, I'd still be using them." He lifted the gems with the force, easily manipulating them in the air. "Guess we have more in common than we thought."

She smiled and looked at them before turning her eyes on Vulpesen himself and speaking. "You should use them, the color of a blade does not determine your affiliation and nor does your force affinity. It is how you use your powers and your blade that demonstrates that and as long as you remember that Vulpesen i dont think there is any need to hold back the use of your crystals that are much more important than some new and meaningless crystal."

Vulpesen let out a small laugh and took out his saber. After a moment, he activated the weapon and a black and gold blade leaped from the emitter, the center dark ass night, surrounded by a contrasting golden light. "True, and maybe someday I will take it back up. But for now I can't let anyone know who I am. And like it or not, this saber is quite noticeable and was my hallmark as a jedi." He deactivated the saber and went about switching the crystals back. "So for now, I think I'll stick to the meaningless crystal."

"Shame, i like when things have meaning." She smiled and looked at the sky again before slowly putting her saber back together, the sabers sealing off and ready to be used once more. She turned her hands over and grabbed the sabers in the air before clipping them to her sides once more.

As the blade snapped closed, he placed it on his own hip. "One day. Just not today. Seems that phrase is appearing a lot around me." He smiled at her and his ears flicked at the rain. "Seems like its starting to clear up .We'll probably be able to continue our trek pretty soon." He had of course enjoyed their time under the tree, but there was still a part of him that wanted to get back to her home. Not to leave of course, but to be in a structure.

She nodded and rolled her neck as she thought over how far they had gone. "We got about a two day trek left, no problem for us of course though i hope you do realize that next time we make camp we are going straight back to training. I want to get those basics down for Tutaminis before i get back to the Temple, so that Daeda doesn't chew me out for self inflicted wounds, worried i might actually get myself killed because of my training."

He let out a small groan as he heard the days, a thought finally reaching him. "I might have to hunt something down then. This new metabolism is begging for food. Perhaps a manka cat, I think they're fairly common in this region." He stretched and looked around. "As for your training, try not to push to far. If Daeda will get mad at you for overdoing it, he'll go at my throat for shooting the blaster."

"Not unless i told him too, hes not that violent." She smiled at that and thought about him being attacked by Daeda, laughing a bit at the feeling of watching Daeda bitting at Vulpesen's feet and him running around like a mad man. Her eyes even moved in to study him and think over just how well he would handle the onslaught of the small Ashlan Wolf.

"Fair enough, but I doubt he'll be very happy at me at all." He took notice of her laughing and shifted in his position. "Whats so funny?" His golden eyes shined towards her as he asked the question. It was good to just talk like this, not as much hiding or big secrets of their lives. just simple conversation.

"Nothing i was just thinking about how funny it would be to see Daeda chasing you with your tail between your legs, trying to gut you for shooting holes into my hand. It would be absolutely hilarious." She smiled as she laughed more, the thought stuck in her head and her eyes closing a bit as she laughed some more until the laughs became full blown grinning.

He rolled his eyes at the joke. "Sure, but lets try not to see what it looks like in real life, alright love?" He grinned and kissed Alexandra's cheek. "Sure this is fun and all, but there does come a point where I just don't want to keep burning your hand, not to mention that I never got any complete training with my healing abilities."

"Right, and theres only so much that can be done in one area anyways, im surprised ive been able to keep my hand from becoming a massive scar as it was..." And more than worried how much more of this she could subject her body to at times. "Anyways, when do you think we will get hung up on the things that ever other person cares about. Money and power after all?" She smiled, making the joke specifically at a certain group.
