The Padawans: Homecoming

It seemed like everyone knew where they were going. Reggie was going to speak with the allies he was going to the temple with, but decided against it. Neither Krass or Boo seemed as though they wanted to talk. He could be wrong, but he decided to just leave it be for now. There would be time to talk I the morning, so he retreated to his shelter to get some rest.

When morning came, he quickly got ready for the day ahead of him. While some would find exploring ruins boring, Reggie found it exciting. You never know what could be found. Seeing some his allies up and ready, he quickly walked over to them to greet them.

"Good Morning everyone!"

As always, he had a radiant smile on his face. The people who didn't know him would soon find out how friendly and sociable he was, which some people didn't like.

It had been a few years since she had been anywhere but Kashyyyk, so naturally Zavii had jumped at the chance. This would be her first mission, even if it was only a group of Padawans that she'd be with. The ride to the little Wookiee- controlled world had been peaceful, and the landing had gone by without a hitch, but the Zabrak suddenly found herself so anxious that she'd forgotten to even talk to anyone there. Then when they landed and her feet touched the ground, some primal instinct took over and with only a cursory "I'll be right back," to the Togruta, Zavii took off into the forest at a run.

Her dark-green robes blended well with the foliage and she could camouflage reasonably well, so long as she kept her hood up. On the shuttle ride she'd put her vibrant hair in one long, tight braid that hung halfway down her back, plus the thinner, shorter one that hung from just over her right ear. She ran for several minutes in one direction before slowing at a small stream to drink the fresh water. Once her thirst was slaked she started to feel hungry and just like that, a small mammal of some kind had come up to the water, just on the other bank and only a dozen feet away. Zavii locked eyes with the animal and stood, which caused it to bolt. The chase was on.

She managed to find the camp about three hours before dawn and spent a few minutes setting up the hammock she had brought. It hung about four feet off the ground by two trees near the hard-light shelter that one of the others had set up. The teenager hopped into the brown cloth hammock and used her own cloak as a blanket, quickly falling into a deep, natural sleep.
