Private The Odd Merchant

As usual, the Nar Shadaa markets were as crowded as it got, full of people peddling wares both legal and illegal, stores and stands intermingling in a chaos of merchandise amongst neon lights. It was here that the former sith lord made their living. Rendered without powers, Edaline quickly found themselves leaning on winning smiles and a silver tongue in order to make it in this galaxy. As usual, after having gone on her trading rounds throughout the galaxy, they returned to the seedy world of Nar Shadaa. There was always profit to be made here. This was the sort of place where people would buy anything for any conceivable reason, perhaps even unconceivable.

It was amongst these stands and stores that Edaline had set up their own. A simple counter with a cloth roof above it to protect from the elements. Behind the counter was a rusty old metal chair which they sat upon, watching the shoppers wander by. Various things were displayed on the counter for sale. Exotic silks, funny t-shirts, blasters, viroblades, it was a whole mess of clutter from all around the galaxy that they had gathered. The only thing not for sale was the bottle of whiskey that sat before the Mikkian on that counter, which they would occasionally grab to take a swig. Edaline simply sat there, waiting to draw someone's interest with the wares they had gathered.

This was far from the first time Ra had been to Nar Shadda. Nor would it be the last. There were always reasons to visit this place. Right now, it was for fun...if one considered shopping fun. Which, she did. So she found herself wandering the stinking streets of a rundown area of the seediest market she could think of.

With her head full of red hair, she would be hard to miss as she walked. Something she didn't do on purpose was draw attention to herself. That just seemed to happen naturally. Ra wasn't a known face in this market which was both good and bad. People would attempt to pass their wares onto her but she brushed most of them away. She knew what goods were viable and which ones weren't. Those that caught her attention, she bought from. Those that didn't she politely told them no and continued on.

Most of them got the message but a few tried to keep pushing her. Here, her silver tongue came into play and the Force. Eventually, one way or another, they got the message and left her alone. Not soon enough, she found herself peering at the items of another stall. Picking up one of the knives, she smiled slightly to herself before putting it back down.

"That one is quite similar to something I've had for many years. How old is it?"

Motioning to the knife, her glowing eyes met the eyes of the vendor with some interest.
