I'll need your 3 starting planets (you may PM me them), with the first being your capital planet.

I'll also need you to post your reason for applying for Major Faction, including the basis for how Moross will govern planets, and what makes you different from the Sith Empire.

The reason behind our desire to gain Major Faction status, what makes us different and unique from the Empire and indeed most all other FU factions, and how Moross governs their system can all be summed up rather nicely into this: because of what Moross stands for and was founded on.

The Moross Crusade is not just another rag-tag group of people looking to stir trouble, it is an all-encompassing religion that seeks to establish a strong, prosperous people under a single banner. Lead by the faith of the Pantheon of Ten Gods, Moross offers something for everyone and can give the opportunity to become strong, powerful, important and to make a difference to any and all who should choose to follow it. Believers and the devout can come from any race, any background and any creed - Jedi, Sith, Non-FU's and everything in between may find common ground in the worship and devotion of one, or many of the Pantheon. By spreading the word of Moross and gaining more followers, we become more than just a name or an idea, we become a way of life. Moross can help those in need and bring them to strength, and Moross can empower those already on their way to greatness.

As we span across the planets our trusted leaders, the three Living Gods Ithari (Jacen Cavil), Neth (Soliael Devin Talith) and Inari (myself) will implement a system of Bishops (Governors) to rule over each and preach the word of Moross. Our goal is to mend what planets may be failing and turn them into solid, working, prosperous pieces of the puzzle while utilizing the strength and resources of those that are doing well to continue to build and expand. We seek to do this peacefully, but are aware that some places and peoples simply don't always know what's best for them and are prepared to conquer by force. The end goal is to always having something better than it was before in every way possible.

A. Your character is not God, he is not immortal and he is not invincible. While your providing your character strengths, be sure to provide him weaknesses as well.

How do you feel about this rule, copied from the Character Creation Template, and the obvious perception of the Moross Crusade having it's 3 leaders named as Living Gods?

Do you think this is a good perception to push towards other members of the community, and future members?

Living Gods
They can still die. If someone kills another god, they can claim a title of a "god" and become one. Its one of the rules that they can still die because they are "mortal" in this realm rather than their heavenly realm. I do not see a problem with it because the back story is all just inception and deceit. Not real Gods where they can not die.

Our characters are "Gods" by title only.

In our faction resources information there are several marked notations of stating that the 3 "Living Gods" of Moross are, indeed, mortal and can be killed. They may also be challenged by other Moross members for the Title of God. It is also mentioned that the Moross religion is a complete and utter ruse used to pull the wool over the eyes of those less perceptible in order to blind them into following it. This, of course, is all OOC information. How a character comes to learn that the religion is a sham ICly is a different story. We do make it very clear that no one within Moross is immortal, and if/when the title of Living God is passed on to another member it will be done selectively to ensure that the best character ICly is fulfilling what is essentially an IC leadership role.

Spread the faith.

(aka, present and accounted for)

Plus, god killing is pretty cool. It's an interesting concept for Moross. However, the idea that people could think their character is a literal god and push that on other members of the community is non-unique in the status quo. (Zaiden, though he doesn't abuse it) Not that it's a bad thing, it's just bad if the writer believes their character to actually be a god and writes it as so, which can happen regardless of Moross's existence.
