STANDARD FEATURES

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Force transmitters like those on Meditation Spheres allow Erebus to project his Force Powers beyond
  • Sith sarcophagus allows for Erebus to regenerate and recuperate
  • Sarrassian iron enhances Dark Side force powers cast within it
STRENGTHS
  • Welcome to My Domain: The sarrassian iron throughout the entire temple not only allows for Erebus to transmit his Force powers throughout, but the metal's strong attunement to the Dark Side enhances Sith force abilities and rituals.
  • Impervium: The impervium hull, while not infallible, is incredibly durable, and it would take prolonged fire from a capital ship to seriously damage it.
  • Interdiction Fields: As the Ziggurat does not hyperspace jump in the traditional sense, interdiction fields have no effect on it.
WEAKNESSES
  • She Turns Like a Boat: The Ziggurat, being a mobile temple, isn't exactly built for maneuverability, and more nimble ships are capable of outmaneuvering it incredibly easily.
  • Speed Isn't Key: The Ziggurat is intended to mainly serve as a temple and fortress, albeit one capable of movement if necessary.
  • I Hope Everyone Was Watching Because I Will Not Be Doing That Again: While great exertions of the Force through the force transmitters are possible, doing so leaves Erebus drained, opening up the Ziggurat to attack.
  • What Are Shields?: The Ziggurat was forged during a time when shields were not used on Sith vessels, meaning any attack will be hitting it directly.
  • Who Dares Approach Me: Given that the Ziggurat is a temple, the outside hull has large staircases leading to the the sanctum atop the structure, and if someone were to board these steps they would have a straight shot to its "bridge".
  • Got My Hands Full Here: If for any reason Erebus cannot focus enough to channel Fold Space, the Ziggurat is incapable of leaving its current location
DESCRIPTION
The Midnight Ziggurat is the mobile temple station of the Sith Lich Erebus Ignosi, constructed in secret thousands of years ago beneath Exegol's surface by his legions of worshippers, and serves as the seat of his power. At first glance, the Ziggurat appears to be an "average" Sith temple, but when the need arises the temple is capable of raising upwards and taking to space, which it was required to do when annihilation came to the Sith tomb world. For this reason the Midnight Ziggurat may be considered a space station, albeit one capable of entering and exiting a planet's atmosphere.

In essence the Ziggurat functions as an enormous temple-shaped Meditation Sphere, and from his sanctum atop its peak Erebus is capable of channeling the Force to great effect; able to see entire battlefields beyond its walls, project disastrous bursts of Force Lightning, or extending necromancy rituals to resurrect a legion at once. To this end the Ziggurat does not possess a hyperdrive in the traditional sense: instead, Erebus channels Fold Space throughout the temple, strengthened by the Force transmitters and sarrassian iron. Of course this does not come without its cost, and such powerful exertions leave even the great Lich drained, forcing him to recuperate before they can be attempted again.

The sanctum atop the Ziggurat functions as a "bridge" of sorts, and within lies Ignosi's sarcophagus, where he can rest and regenerate after great expenditures of energy or being wounded. Veins of sarrassian iron resonating with the Dark Side snake throughout the structure, and while in tune with them Erebus can sense the presence of lifeforms and both channel and receive power. In the bowels of the Ziggurat is a large ritual chamber rich with the Dark-side-attuned iron, where necromantic experiments can be done, and an altar within allows for sacrifices to be performed and the life essence transferred through the veins to Erebus' sarcophagus. Assuming a steady supply of sacrifices can be maintained, this allows for the self-proclaimed Magnus to recuperate and regenerate faster than he would be able to do alone. Also within the ship are over a hundred coffins, containing Sith Zombies waiting to be unleashed.

Of course, this mighty temple is not without its weaknesses. When it does fly, it is incredibly slow and incredibly unresponsive, like a boat turning in molasses. Additionally, like other Sith ships of the time such as the Derriphan-class battleship the Ziggurat lacks any kind of shield systems, meaning that any attacks targeting it would be directly hitting the temple's hull, and while the impervium can sustain a lot of damage it is not infallible, especially against many of the capital weapon systems of the modern galaxy. The Ziggurat's purpose as a temple also opens it to boarding parties thanks to the massive staircases on the exterior, which if someone were to climb onto would give them a straight shot upwards to the sanctum atop the structure. And if, for any reason Erebus cannot focus enough to cast Fold Space,

For these reasons Erebus does not treat the Midnight Ziggurat like a battleship but as a mobile base of operations, through which to exert his influence and spread his necromancy.

Looks cool!
I would like to ask you to add the following parts to the template. These are not part of the pre-made fields but still important part of the template:
  • Length: (Via Metric System.)
  • Width: (Via Metric System.)
  • Height: (Via Metric System.)
This, if the sub is larger than 50 metres:
  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons
  • Single Craft Hangar: (Does this ship have a hanger for a single fighter craft to be docked? Please choose either Yes or No. This field does not need to be taken into account when balancing but should be included in the strengths and weaknesses.) If the ship is between 50-500 metres
Or, if the ziggurat is smaller than 50 metres:
Squadron Count: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission would have in a squadron. The average squadron for any starfighter is 12, at lengths averaging 12.5 meters. The bigger the fighter, the smaller your Squadron Count should be. The smaller the fighter, the bigger your Squadron count can be. [None: 1 | Very Low: 4 | Low: 8 | Average: 12 | High: 16 | Very High: 20 | Extreme: 24 ] Squadron Sizes may be listed as just the rating.)
And this:
Hyperdrive: (Does this ship have a hyperdrive? If this ship has a hyperdrive how fast is it? The lower the number, the faster the ship is, you may choose decimals. Any speed below 1.0 requires the hyperdrive to be added to the ship’s strengths and accordingly balanced with weaknesses. Links: Hyperdrive, Hyperdrive Comparisons)
