Private The Lost Sith Lord

Admittedly there was a lot of pent up frustration inside Angonous, the Sith had fallen and now they were scattered all around the galaxy relying nothing more than instinct. For Angonous the only thing that hurt the most was his pride, what is a Sith without pride it'll be like life without the Force. Angonous was prideful in himself, his abilities and the Sith Empire to see that destroyed by those self rightoeus, insolent Jedi tore down everything he fought and sacrificed for. His rage burned bright, but Angonous had to do something that he despised which was swallowing his pride and go into hiding. The humiliation, the shame, what would his family think of Angonous? Yet the Sith Lord knew that he had to survive, he had to grow stronger because that's who the Sith are. They are the Dark Side personified, they can lash out and leave nothing in their wake but when the situation demands the must shrink into the shadows and wait for the time to strike. It was the hardest lesson Angonous learned throughout his training and it's even worse enduring the crumbling of the Sith Empire but opportunity will always come for the Sith. Unlike the Jedi, they are willing to do whatever it takes to dominate.

Sicarus was hot with anger as well, but unlike Angonous she didn't know how to channel it properly. Angonous didn't need to wait for Sicarus to order him to duck as he already sensed her intentions. Sicarus holds a lot of promise but she is a barbarian wielding cudgel, she allows anger to dictate her actions rather than using anger as a weapon to transcend herself into a more powerful being. Angonous knew that she wanted to let out frustrations on these irrelevant plebeians. She wanted to let the galaxy know that the Sith still live, but there was a time to hide and plot and there was a time to let loose. Sicarus used the starfighter and bombed the stragglers, bombed the surrounding buildings, damn near bombed the town. Angnous watched the massacre stoic and pensive. He would allow her to unleash her fury, it wasn't like the thugs didn't know who they are but Sicarus will have to endure the consequences for this rampage but not now.

As soon a Sicarus picked Angonous up he stared at his young apprentice. "I can feel your anger my young apprentice," he said. "It makes you powerful, gives you focus. Your destruction is tremendous, almost awe inspiring but it is best served for other endeavors. Restraint is a Jedi talking point, the Sith doesn't place restrictions on power but rather we unleash it to other ambitions."

He got in the cockpit. "Especially at a time like this," he said. "Pour your anger and your rage towards the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance, not these insolent curs."

Sicarius felt satisfied, the destruction she had just lain down on this backwater backdrop had been cathartic. She hadn’t realised how pent up she had been, fighting could be a release in the right circumstances or even in the right mood, but sometimes it just lead to pent up aggression. Usually she could use a warm body after a fight, assuming their was a more or less willing body around. Well the willing part was usually optional, or at least it was by the end.

Her Masters nagging hadn’t helped either. As far as Sicarius was concerned, she had gotten valuable intelligence out the slime lord Hutt, destroyed an IG Magna guard, killed countless of his thugs and cronies, hacked the Hutts valuable hard drive multiple times, helped deal with two Tri Droids and had just eviscerated a small town. All in a good days work, but all he could say was ‘acceptable’. Sicarius had a good mind to show just what she was capable of, one way or another he’d be screaming by the end.

A small part of her acknowledged that she hadn’t exactly been subtle, she knew that in these trying times, it would be better for what’s left of the Sith to be discreet. She knew some Sith Masters would insist on it with discipline. Personally at this moment and time however Sicarius really couldn’t give a damn to conventional wisdom or restraint. That was a Jedi’s philosophy not a Sith’s. Sith were supposed to be about passion and power, not peace and prudence. She was sick and tired of hiding from the Jedi, let alone from petty gangsters. She refused to be cowed by these thugs, these vile vermin.

If her new Master didn’t like that perhaps it was better, they find out sooner rather than later. Better to know at the start of their partnership, and realise it wasn’t going to work rather than invest time energy and effort. Plus it would give Sicarius an excuse to kill him. Not directly of course, he was too powerful for that, if she were to kill him it actually would have to be subtle. Sicarius scoffed at the inherent irony of that. No she would just have to leave him in a position to die easy. Setting the starfighter on autopilot into a sun or gas it, maybe electrocute it from the outside turning it into a cooker.

Sicarius was enjoying imagining the various ways in which to entrap and kill Darth Angonous, before coming out of her little day dream. To her surprise he was surprisingly reasonable about the whole thing, he seemed to finally be recognising her aptitude and her power, or atleast her ability to lay down death and destruction. Which in and of itself was what power was. She was a little disappointed he hadn’t given her an excuse to kill him. Yet.

“Thank You Master” Sicarius acknowledged “I’m glad we agree on the nature of power. It was beneath us to be quelled to quiet discretion by these thugs, these vermins.”

"One day we will have our revenge on the Jedi. Show them the nature of Power."

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

Subtilty was the way of the Sith.

It was something that the Sith adapted ever since Darth Bane started the Rule of Two. Hide in the shadows, keep the numbers as little as possible and strike through cunning and ingenuity. The Jedi for years blind to the Sith's threat, they didn't know that the Sith were the ones in business, nobility and especially in politics watching the Jedi, and taking over their precious Republic not through force but through infiltration and cunning. Even though the Sith Empire is or rather was more prominent now, they still employed the tactics of the Rule of Two to soften up the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance from within. Spread half truths or flat out disinformation to cause chaos and havoc in the senate and the NJO, a weak enemy is one that is plagued with infighting. When the Sith start to invade, it makes uniting against a common thread that much harder.

Sicarus and Angonous often struggled with this concept especially Sicarus. She will have to learn as Angonous did that sometimes that a scalpel is necessary than the Sledgehammer. As much Angonous loved to be in the forefront of battle, he had to learn the intricacies of the Galaxy and learn how to blend in and try to play the Galactic Alliance's game. Sicarus on the other hand it was far too easy to probe her mind, she was always going all out with her anger leaving her vulnerable to simple mind probes. Angonous knew that Sicarus was fantasizing on killing him already. Yet she didn't have the mentality of a Sith Lord it was more of the mentality of a teenager lashing out against their parents.

The young apprentice isn't aware what her destruction was causing, sure it was great that she embracing her anger but the next step and arguably the hardest was to channel their anger so the Sith can maintain functionality. There was time to unleash their anger on soldiers but there was a time to direct their anger to more important matters.

"Yes my young apprentice," Angonous said. "The Jedi will pay for this, you will have the power to combat them. I can feel your anger Sicarus it makes you powerful but It leaves you vulnerable to other things."

He'll let Sicarus try to figure what it was, she seemed to believe that what she did had no concequences.
